Chapter 12

Hell Bound

 

“Yah, yah, `eep takin' `ou cowardly hell scum,” said Solo boldly. Skyler glared angrily.

“You'll regret those words.”

“Will I?” Skyler charged at Solo and gave him a hard punch. Solo caught his fist and kicked him in the stomach, sending him flying back towards his brother. Solo laughed,

“Please don't `ell `m that is all `ou got!” It was Erric's turn, he held his right hand in the air and yelled,

“Dragon Sword Of The Black Hells!” a sword appeared in his hand, it was surrounded by a black glow and had a crimson dragon wrapped around it. He charged at Solo, and the two began to sword fight. A swipe there, a block here, and stab, a swish, a dodge a duck. Solo and Erric continued to fight. Erric backed up against a tree, and ducked Solo's sword blow. The two moved away from the tree, still fighting. Little did Solo know that Skyler was quietly creeping up behind him, a dagger in his hand. He raised the dagger and—

“LOOK OUT SOLO!” Lila's scream pieced the air just in time for Solo to duck the flying dagger and stab Erric in the stomach, and then slash him across the chest. Erric fell to the ground with a groan.

“ERRIC!” shouted Skyler running over to his fallen brother. “No, no, no, no, no!” He ripped off some cloth from his shirt and wrapped it tightly around Erric's stomach, desperately trying to stop the bleeding. Erric coughed up some blood, and spoke.

“S-Skyler…I have faith in you…” Skyler sobbed.

“No, Erric, I am a horrible person! I don't deserve to be your brother!”

“L-listen,” said Erric shakily. “You are my younger brother, I have watched you train ever since you were little and you are more than I ever expected you ever could be. You will make a great warrior. I believe in you. I was the one unworthy of you.”

“No!” cried Skyler. “Don't leave me!”

“I-I need you to be strong, for me. I'll see you in…the next life, maybe.” Will that Erric voice grew silent and his breathing stopped, leaving Skyler there, holding the torn body of his brother. Solo shook his head sadly. Skyler's eyes burned with anger. He turned to Solo.

“I will kill you…a thousand times over…each one more painful than the last!” Solo sighed.

“On't worry. Ou'll be with yer brother soon.” Skyler held his hands in the air and shouted,

“Lightning!” The sky filled with lightning, the silver streaks filled the sky with flashing. Then the bolt shot down and struck the ground, Solo had to jump out of the way to avoid it.

“Holy--!” Solo couldn't finish his sentence; he was to busy jumping out of the way of lightning. The attack suddenly stopped.

“You see this?!” demanded Skyler, holding up his hands so Solo could see the Red stains. “It's my brothers blood that you spilled. He had the power of creating Dragons, as you saw with his sword, while I had lightning. But his blood is now with me…he is now with me. So now you face the wrath of the lightning dragon!” The lightning in the sky formed a ball and took the shape of a dragon. “Take this you hell bound rodent!” The dragon charged at Solo. But right before it could hit him Solo shouted,

“Ring of White Fire!” And then a-- you guessed it, a ring of white fire wrapped around Solo and sent the dragon flying back at Skyler.

“NNNNNNOOOOOO!!!!!!” SCREAMED Skyler. And it was all over.
