Chapter 1: Melanie
Melanie.
Running through the woods a young woman that appeared to be nine-teen panted as she looked be hind her seeing the man who was supposed to be her best-friend. Gulping she turned her head around and noticed a ledge without thinking she stop. Turning to face the man she raised her head and glared, daring the man to come any further.
" Mel, think of all we'll accomplish Join me; and you can have the human world, the spirit world or even the demon world. Please Melanie." The man begged the woman.
" Go fuck your self, Eithan" Melanie growled as she turn and jumped off the ledge doing a perfect swan-dive.
" No!" Eithan yelled as he watched the raven haired woman jumped into the raging river.
When Melanie hit the bottom she didn't come up..
Hiei.
Sitting by the calm river, a few miles from the water fall, Hiei sat gazing at the blue smooth surface. Suddenly the water rippled as a woman broke through the surface gasping for air and stood staring at him clad in all black. Coughing the woman looked in the direction that the waterfall was at. She moved her mid-night hair out of her face to reveal pale skin and dark sapphire blue eyes.
" I'm sorry for popping up like that." The woman turn her burning sapphire gaze back to Hiei.
" Hn" Hiei glared at her and sat back down, while crossing his arms.
Rolling her eyes the woman walked out of the river and wrung out her hair and clothes. After getting her clothes somewhat dry she turn her attention back to Hiei.
" My name is Melanie Harker. If you could help me out by telling me where I can find Koenma? It would be greatly appreciated." The woman said smoothly keeping her face void of anything that could give her away.
" Hn. Follow me." Hiei said leading the girl to the hotel that he was staying at for the Dark Tournament.
" Thank You." Melanie's voice whispered through his mind causing him to glance at her in mild surprise..
