Blackfirebrooks: Sorry for not updating for a while, and this will be my last update for awhile, sadly. The reason is, were moving into our NEW HOUSE! YEAH! But I am still writing my ideas down, so no worries! ^-^ I also made this chapter pretty long. I hope you like it!

*Later that week. *

*Saki hasn't slept, staying up for reasons unknown. She has been keeping an eye on the gang, probably for their safety. Yet she has also been opening up to them. She now sits on the roof as she looks up at the moonlight sky. *

::Rustle::

Saki: "Hai Hiei?" (Yes Hiei?)

*Hiei quickly makes his appearance. *

Hiei: "Why are you up here?"

Saki: "I guess I'm getting away."

Hiei: "From?"

Saki: "…Life. ::Small laugh:: I probably sound ridiculous."

Hiei: "Iie…it wasn't your fault…" (No…it wasn't your fault…)

Saki: "Nani?" (What?)

Hiei: "…Who's Rain?"

*Saki tries to hold her tears back. *

Saki: "I…I let her down. She only wanted to help, and I couldn't even save her. Right after we escaped they went after me, but instead they got her. And her last words told me to run, and I did. After that…she left this world. And I wish to join her. I don't want anyone else to be in pain because of me."

Hiei: "Don't say that."

Saki: "Huh?"

Hiei: "She risked her life for yours, because she wanted you to live. Not mourn her death, but live life the fullest. Besides, there is no one who does not carry scars on his heart. If there were someone in the world like that he would be a shallow soul." ::Small grin::

*He flashes Saki a small smile as he disappears into the pitch darkness. *

"…Saki. Saki wake up."

Saki: "Nani?" (What?)

*Looks at the clock to see it's 5:14 am. *

Saki: "Nani, Kurama-san? It's still early."

Kurama: "Well, I thought it would be best that you stay with me. So, I enrolled you into my school, if that is ok?"

Saki: "Etto? Sure, sounds like fun!"

*At Mieu High, in the principles office. *

Principle: "Here you go Ms. Mitodoji, there is your schedule and uniform."

Saki: "Arigato Sensei." (Thank you teacher.) *Bows *

Kurama: "Saki can't start till tomorrow?"

Principle: "Hai, Sayonara." (Yes, goodbye.)

*Kurama and Saki head back to Kurama's, but Saki suddenly stopped in her tracks. *

Kurama: "Dajioubo Ka?" (What's the matter?)

Saki: "Nothing, let's go." ::Looks around and turns back to Kurama.::

*The next day at school. Kurama is showing Saki around and where her classes will be. *

Kurama: "It's almost time for 1st period, we better get going. Do you need me to escort you?"

Saki: ::Blush:: "Iie, but arigato anyways! I can manage it."

***

*In history, 1st period. *

Sensei: "Konnichiwa class. We have a new student today. Her name is "Saki Mitodoji."

*Saki walks in as all eyes are on her. Saki bows to the ningens. *

Sensei: "You can sit over there."

*The sensei pointed out which desk as Saki made her way over. What confused her so, was that all the guys were still looking at her. As she walked by they would pucker their lips or wink at her. Saki got to her seat as she sat down and got ready for 1st class, history. *

Sensei: "Ok. Let's review class. You may take notes, Ms. Mitodoji. Who was the goddess…"

*Before he could finish Saki's hand shot up. *

Sensei: "???…Yes Ms. Mitodoji?"

Saki: "The answer is Aphrodite's."

Sensei: "That's correct! Ok, next question. What animal…"

*Once again Saki's hand shoots up. *

Sensei: "Yes Ms. Mitodoji?"

Saki: "The answer is a spider."

Class: 0.0

*Later that day during lunch. *

Kurama: "How did your classes go?"

Saki: "Great! I never knew this school thing could be so easy."

Kurama: "That's good. ^-^ I'm glad your enjoying yourself."

Saki: "Yeah, but it's a little too easy, and it's starting to get boring. When do we go?"

Kurama: "Last period is after lunch."

Saki: "Thank God!"

*After school. Saki and Kurama walk to Genkai's temple for the 1st time. *

Saki: "Hey Kurama…"

Kurama: "Hai?"

Saki: "Are you seeing anyone?" *Eyebrow lifts up in curiosity. *

Kurama: "Ummmm….? No."

Saki: "Oh! Ok." ^-^

Kurama: ???

(If you don't understand what just happened, Saki is hitting on Kurama. And I'm already having a problem trying to get 4 girls to like Kurama. Girl Alert Kurama!)

*Genkai's Temple *

Saki: "Wow! Nice place!"

Kurama: "This is probably the best place for you to stay right now."

Saki: "Why? Your O-kassan?" (Why? Your mother?)

Kurama: "Hai…"

*Saki and Kurama head into the living room to find the Yu Yu gang and some others. One girl had light blue hair tied back into a red bow, the other girl had shoulder length brown hair with brown eyes. The elder woman was shorter than Hiei with pink hair past her shoulders. *

Kurama: "Saki this is Kekio, Yukina, and Genkai."

Saki: "Nice to meet you." ::Bows::

Genkai: "Good to know you're polite and not rude like the idiots over there."

*Saki lets out a small laugh, until she stops to notice Kurama and Hiei are staring at one another. She has also noticed lately they seem very close, closer than the others. She couldn't hold it, she had to ask them. *

Saki: *Looking directly at the two. * "Ummm…are you 2 gay or something…."

Everyone: 0.0

*Kazuma and Yusuke burst out laughing and start rolling on the floor. Kurama and Hiei still speechless. *

Saki: "Nani? It was just a question."

Kurama: *Sweatdrop * "Iie Saki, were not homosexuals."

Saki: "Gomen It just seemed like you two were checking each other out."

*Yusuke and Kazuma are still laughing from the gay comment Saki made. They finally shut up when Hiei knocked them out. *

Blackfirebrooks: "I hope you liked how long this chapter was. Once again I won't be updating for a while. We will be moving this week and next week. Sayon…"

Hiei: "Iie! You can't just cut it off like that. With her making a mockery of me!"

Blackfirebrooks: "It's not my fault! If you want to blame someone, blame your creator. I'm not saying he did anything wrong but… It is true, it seems like you guys are checking each other out."

Hiei: "Hn."

Blackfirebrooks: "Don't `Hn' me! We have a contract! So finish up this fic!"

Hiei: "Fine, Sayonara."
