“Come on I know she was some ware threw here.” Yelled Hiei
In a close distance they heard a young girl scream. Hiei came to a stop and looked at the trees.
“What is it?” ask Yusuke trying to catch his breath from running so long.
“Up there in that tree.” Hiei announced
Kurama walked up to the tree and looked at the young girl “come down, it's all right.” He said in a calm and friendly voice.
The girl stood up and jumped down. She landed by Kurama.
Hiei ran up to her and garbed her arm “who are you?” he ask squeezing her arm
“Let me go and I'll tell you.” She demanded in a brave voice even though she was really scared.
Hiei knew she was scared but let go.
My name is Talika.”
“What do you want in the forest at this time of night?” ask Yusuke
“I can't tell you and is it any of your business.”
“Look girl if you want to get out of here alive you will tell us.” Yelled Hiei growing impatient
“If you must know I'm running away from home. I can't go back, please don't make me. My brothers just don't understand me or anything about me and if they find out my secret they will kill me.” Talika stated pleadingly
“Not another demon. How many are there in this blasted place.” Said Kuwabara complaining
“What you little...” Hiei yelled
“I'm not a demon. I just found out something I shouldn't have and they don't want me find out.” Said Talika
“Look you can come with us. We will arrive in the next town tomorrow. We will camp here tonight and move out first thing in the morning.” Kurama said.
Talika went over to a rock and sat down.
“Hiei keep an eye on her.” Yusuke demanded
Hiei walked over to her and sat down.
“They don't trust me do they?”
“Oh just Yusuke. But he's stupid.” Hiei said
“Can I ask you something?”
“Yeah, I guess.”
“Why are you running away from home?”
“It's a long story.”
“We got all night.”
“True. Why do you care?”
Hiei looked at her. “I guess I kind of like you but you probably like Yusuke…”
“What I don't like him he's too rude and to be totally honest I like you.”
“That's good I guess.”
“I hope so.”
“Do you think you could trust me with your secret?”
“Yeah, I do I just think if I tell you; you wont like me.”
“I don't care what it was I won't judge you over your past.”
Talika started to tell him as she had a flashback.
Flashback:
“Talika come over here.” Talika`s brother yelled
“What do you want?” Talika ask
“There is something we need to tell you.”
“What is it?”
“You are well adopted.”
“what.” Talika yelled
“Your real brother lives in a small town and maybe he can tell you something about your powers. We bought you a ticket and you're going there tomorrow. So go pack your things.”
Early the next morning she got up and packed her things.
After saying goodbye she went to the airport and got on her train.
Two hours later her plain landed and she went to her brother's house.
She knocked on the door and waited for some one to answer the door.
“Hi con I help you?” said the lady who answered the door
“Yeah, I'm looking for a Clark Kent does he live here?”
“Yeah, he's in the barn. If you don't mind me asking who are you?'
“I'm his sister.”
“What Clark has a sister come in?”
Mrs. Kent walked out to the barn after Talika came in and sat down on the couch.
“Clark there is a young girl in there saying she's your sister and she looks like you honey did you know about her? If she is your sister why did she come here now?” she kept asking
“Mom its okay I need to talk to her and help her to understand some things that are going on okay.”
A few months later after Talika had learned everything there was to know about her past and her powers she began to adjust to her new life.
Coupe weeks later she ran away because of her homesickness for her brothers back in her old home town.
End of flashback
“And I am scared that my powers are going to hurt someone.” Said Talika
“Don't worrie I want tell a soul?”
“Thanks Hiei.”
She leaned over and kissed him on the cheek. Hiei was surprised and without thinking he turned around and kissed her back on the mouth.
“Sorry I wasn't thinking.”
“Its okay I didn't mind.”
“Are you shore you don't?”
Talika just laughed and leaned over and kissed him again.
“Does this mean were an item now?” ask Hiei
“I guess so.”
“Think we should tell the others.”
“Nope they will figure it out on there own.”
As the started to kiss again Yusuke walked up behind them.
“WHAT IS GOING ON HERE I SEND YOU TO KEEP AN EYE ON HER AND COME BACK TO SEE YOU MACKING OUT…” Yusuke yelled at the top of his lungs.
