Kurama: Hey, Ki's made it to the 3rd chapter; she's never gotten passed the 2nd before giving up.

Kiymui: Yea yea….Well anyway I gotta go, cause Hiei is going to kill me, C ya! *runs like hell*

*Hiei runs after her sword drawn*

Blaze and an Old Ally

Kiyumi walked to the lake and sat at the edge. Awhile later, Blaze appeared beside her.

`You alright?' he asked. Kiyumi nodded.

"There's nothing like a good cry sometimes, I forget that, I'm just glad Kurama was there to help me…"

`You like him don't you?' Blaze teased. Kiyumi blushed and was as red as Kurama's hair

"N-no, I-I…Oh forget it!" Kiyumi looked away, while Blaze laughed.

`I knew it, two fox demons in love' Kiyumi tackled him to the ground.

"Th-that's not funny Blaze!" she stammered putting him in a headlock. Blaze fought back, and soon a was a match

Kiyumi and Blaze where laying on the grass trying to get there breath back.

"We…haven't done…that in…awhile…" Kiyumi huffed, Blaze agreed. Someone from behind a nearby tree was laughing. Kiyumi swiftly got up, and tackled the person who was laughing, but instead of tackling him, he tackled her. It was Kurama!

"h-hi, K-Kurama…" She blushed. Kurama also blushed, because he was on top of Ki. He got up, and helped her.

"Sorry about that, reflexes" he sweatdroped.

"N-no problem, I was just wondering if you where my idiot stepbrother…" They both laughed after that last comment

"He is a little reckless, I give you that…" Kurama held his sides, Kiyumi was on the grass, giggling. Soon the fun was interrupted by someone.

"Do you enjoy laughing at something so stupid?" It was a girl, with pitch black hair, tied in a high pony tail. She looked about the same height as Hiei, and had a black headband on her forehead. One eye was a deep blood red, while the other was crimson. On her neck was a silver dragon, with red eyes. On her back was a bow with a quiver of arrows, and a katana, at her side were two daggers.

"Where's your since of fun Akumi?" Kiyumi giggled.

"Hn, I don't see what's so funny, your stepbrother is half demon." She leaned back on the tree.

"Oh, I know he's a Ma-zoku, but what do I care, he's a jerk just like my father." Kyumi looked at the sky while she said it. Akumi watched her, and then looked at Kurama.

"Kiyumi…uhh, who's this?"

"Akumi, this is Kurama, he's the reincarnation of Youko Kurama." Kyumi introduced the both of them.

"Reunions are sweet aren't they, almost to the point you want to puke." A voice from no where said. Black smoke filled the area, and surrounded Kiyumi, Akumi, and Kurama.

"Akiso, what the hell do you want this time!?" Kiyumi coughed.

"Your mother's jewel, you have it and I want it back!" Akiso unsheathed the sword at his side. Kiyumi got out her lily and turned into her fox form.

"You want it, come get it…" Kiyumi charged at Akiso and attacked. Akiso dodged and grabbed her from behind.

"You can never beat me, you mother was a wench, she never cared about you!"

"Y-you're lying, my mother loved me!" Kiyumi kicked him in the stomach, and landed on the ground. Akumi took her sword out and stood next to Kiyumi. Kurama did the same, and kneeled beside her.

"Are you alright?" he asked. Kiyumi looked at him, there was something different about him, his eyes held worry and fear.

"Yeah, I think I'm alright." She tried to stand up, but fell back down.

"No, I think twisted my ankle when I landed." She bit her lip.

"Well, don't worry about your mother's jewel" He flashed the ruby at the three demons, before disappearing into the night.

"How the hell did he get that…that Basterd!!!!!!!" Kiyumi yelled.

"Ki, I'm so sorry" Kurama apologized.

"Ki, and I both have to kill him, if we don't it could mean the destruction of this world." Akumi explained, sheathing her sword. Kurama picked up the injured girl, bridal style, and walked towards Genkai's, Blaze and Akumi where right behind.

"It's good to be back Blaze" Akumi smiled.
