Shadows, Fire, Flowers, and Wolves

Chapter 2: Maybe A Crush

"And that's the basketball and tennis courts." Aura said, her blue eyes reflecting the noon sunshine. She had been showing our favorite spirit detectives around the school all, and introducing them to fellow students and teachers. Kuwabara, Hiei, and Yusuke all seemed bored, but were amused with Kurama's constant questioning to Aura. Maybe "Kuramy-ramy had a crushy-whasy on Aury-rory!" as Kuwabara so smartly put it in the boys' room.

The group was led into the huge lunchroom, with a rather pungent smell (down with cafeteria food!).

"Well, I'm sure that you guys can find your way to decent table, so I guess I'll see you later." Aura said, walking off in the direction of a table in the far corner, near the windows.

"Bye." said Kurama. When they were sure Aura wasn't coming back, Yusuke and Kuwabara began their assault.

"Oh Aura, where is the computer lab." Yusuke mocked.

"Bye, my love" Kuwabara began making kissing noises.

The duo began to laugh. Kurama blushed, "Just because you two are dumb and will probably wander around the school searching for the computer lab, doesn't mean I have to." He walked into the lunch line.

"Hiei, you've quiet. Are you sick?" Yusuke asked, grabbing an apple.

"Yes…I sick of this HELLHOLE!!!!" Hiei yelled, but no one important heard him.

A huge laugh erupted in the room, in the direction of Aura's tables. It seemed that Aura's brother, Auron, had run into Raiku's foot with his skateboard and was now paying the price- a serious beating by Raiku with her boot and fist (Ouchies!). Hiei smirked, 'It seems that this group maybe more useful then I thought.'

After getting their lunches, our boys sat down with Aura, Raiku, and very bruised Auron. Kuwabara noticed that Auron's skateboard had tigers on it and the boy began talking about cats and other "manly" things, like farting and scratching.

"So, Raiku, if your anything like Aura, can you let me copy your homework?" Yusuke asked.

"Hell no, and ask me again and I'll punch you."

"That's all I need to hear; You and I are a going to be good friends" Yusuke said, smiling.

Hiei's grin grew, as Kurama looked on.
