He was noone. He knew he was her brother, a demon victor from the Dark Tournament... but as far as he was concerned; he was noone. Noone she would want to know. He was the killing kind. Even as he loved her like the sibling she was, he lied to her. Telling her he had no idea where her lost brother was, watching her face fall... He had to lie.

His eyes hardened as he listened to her humming below him, ruby eyes dark. He couldn’t tell her. He didn’t deserve to have a sister like her, one so innocent. He was a demon, in all meanings of the term. He would only destroy her.
