After the smaller demon was quietly in the shower with a towel and a change of clothes, Kurama threw his other clothes into the dryer before picking up the bundle and heading to the kitchen. He kept the fox close, as he made warm milk for it, then put some cocoa on the stove to get warm. As it warmed, he sat down at the table unwrapping the towel to get a good look at the fox. Much to his shock electric blue eyes peered back at him through the towel. Blue eyes on a ningen fox. It didn't appear to be afraid of him and sat patiently as he examined it. It was a male and obviously young, but it would be a teenager by human years. What it was doing in the possession of Hiei was another story.
He put the milk in front of it, but it didn't seem interested. "Where did you come from?"
"Makai." Hiei appeared in the doorway, wearing a pair of Kurama's white pants, that looked baggy on him, with his towel draped across his shoulders.
"Makai?" Kurama stared at the fox. "That would explain why I can detect a demon's presence." He stood slowly, taking care of the hot chocolate on the stove.
"Get this, kitsune, this is your kid." Kurama froze at that, a slight choking noise issuing forth as he turned to face Hiei.
"My kid?"
Hiei took amusement in loss of Kurama's usually calm laid back attitude. "Our kid." He replied almost sourly. Hiei had spent the last few days 'adjusting' to the fact that he had a kid with a man. A man he had never touched. This time it was Hiei's turned to look a little perturbed and Kurama looked outright confused. Hiei continued. "I talked to Koenma about it, there is a stone in the makai world that can... 'create' new demons. Someone liked our moves so they've made a crossover of us, who can use our powers. An enhanced demon created to kill who it was designed after. He doesn't know who made it, but we have to protect him from whoever's coming back. And teach it to use our powers." He scowled looking up at Kurama.
"I see. That's why you were in such a hurry. How old is he?"
"We're not sure. What we do know is who ever made him, abandoned him, I didn't get him without a fight. But they don't want to give him up, either." He smiled a little, remembering the fight he had trying to get the fox here. "You teach him what he needs to understand what he is. I'll teach him to fight. When my clothes are dry I'm leaving, I have to go see what I can dig up."

As promised, Hiei had taken his clothes and left, leaving Kurama alone with the fox, confused and curious at the same time. "Well I think it's time for you to learn another form."
As if on cue, the fox slowly changed into a blue eyed boy, taller then Kurama with black and silver streaked hair. He was very thin for his height, and had a very pale complexion. He wore a pair of worn blue jeans, holes in the knees, a black shirt, and a pair of gray converse on his feet.
"If your from Makai, why are you wearing ningen clothing?" Kurama asked, unphased, but very curious to this turn of avents.
"I bought 'em." He shrugged sheepishly, tucking his hands into his pockets. "I haven't always been in Makai. I was born here, in what you call the ningen world."
Kurama nodded, then sat down. "Well then how did you end up in Makai... er... what is your name?"
"Remy. I was raised here, by foster parents. When I was growing up I just knew there was something different about me, and I started to discover a control over plants an a ability to control flame. Then I discovered the ability to travel back in forth between the two. I always felt like someone was calling me to Makai, but I got stuck in fox form while I was there. That's when Hiei found me and brought me back. He said if I knew what was good for me I'd stay a fox until he dropped my ass off with Kurama." With that the boy sat down in a chair and leaned back calmly.
Kurama let this information sink in a moment before he sighed. "We'll have to see Koenma in the morning, but for now it's time to sleep, I-"
Remy cut Kurama off before he could finish. "No, I'll take the couch, keep your bed, I'd feel weird if I took it."
Kurama simply nodded before getting the boy blankets and a pillow.
