Silver Light, Black Darkness

A silver moon can shine its light upon my face,

So why am I constantly bathed in darkness?

I walk among its light and feel whole,

So why am I so empty?

A rose can shine in the deepest dark,

And so I, like a rose, shall bathe in the darkness,

And never see the light.
