<Nyx> (Her P.O.V.)
I ran forward, and since my stupid blades (Weapons predescribed) for being with my stupid guitar case, and resigned myself to form my spirit ones (yes she can, but it takes up more energy then she likes so she perfers her other ones) at least with that blasted cuff on my energy was fully ready to use, after being dormant for so long. I could feel Hiei's presence running beside me. As we neared the corner I heard boss ask where I was, and heard the demons start to rush where I could sense my sister to be. I formed my blades and ran faster. My golden energy formed (you were expecting dark purple?) the blades, the glow to them faded and they just slightly shone in the dark. I could make out their sharply curved edges, sharp enough to cut through most anything. When we rounded the corner I quickly shrugged off my coat (No small feat with her blades out) and put it where I could grab it if we needed to flee quickly. I was now wearing only my black wife beater and black sweatpants, and I knew I blended well with the darkness, the demon I saw heading for Mika from the shadows never stood a chance. I quickly sliced him in half as I flipped over him and came in a stance beside Mika. My spirit energy soared, after living so long with it hidden in the cloak, me hiding it, and the cuff holding it back, my blood ran with excitement at being free of its bonds. Boss and everyone else stared at me like they had never seen something quite like me before, and then I laughed, because before me, they hadn't. I cast a quick glance around what I considered to be my allies, Mika seemed to be struck dumb, the boy with slicked back hair and the one with the carrot colored hair were staring at me wide-eyed, and the tall red-head fought to control the look of surprise on his face, I was a high an "B" class demon. (I think I'll make Hiei and "A" in this fic, if he isn't already, I can't keep up...) I glanced over at Hiei, his face was emotionless as I had come to expect it to be, but a slight smirk was on his lips and I thought I saw slight interest in his eyes. I grinned and turned back to Boss, who had Arata by his side, but I had expected that.
"Ah so you decided to join us Kali, I had wondered where you went, we both know you can't escape with that cu-" His voice failed him when I flashed him my bare ankle, and for the first time he felt scared. Now don't get me wrong, I knew perfectly well that I could just use my voice to charm them to sleep and kill them quietly or leave them be, but I only did that if I was forced to, it didn't feel right, I liked to beat my opponets fair and square, in a battle one-on-one. Plus when they really deserved what was coming to them, it felt better knowing karma had given them exactly what they had given others, and if karma wanted to deal that out through me, hey who was I to argue? I was in the middle of a stare down with Boss. He would pay for everything, for what happened to Mika, and clipping my wings. Then suddenly the demons continued their attack.
(Out of P.O.V.)
All the demons had rushed forth except for Boss, Arata, and some of his cronies, including Nanashi who had regained consciousness and came around the other side. The battle went on for about 10 minutes,(all the demons were pretty weak and drunk to boot) so the group made quick work of them. (Your going to have your own fighting scene play out in you head cauz I can't write one, but I'll try for when Arata and Boss fight) Nyx, Hiei, and Kurama didn't have a scratch on them, Nyx narrowly so, Hiei had to come to her rescue a few times, Kuwabara had got punched in the face and had a black eye, Yusuke had been punched from behind before Mika had knocked the guy out with her good arm, and she herself suffered a few hits (Hey her arm has a stab wound, she's not as agile as usual). After the flow of demons stopped, the group stood there regaining their breathes. They turned toward the sound of clapping. Boss stood there, applauding them, with Arata on his right smirking, and Nanashi on his left, trying to hide his fear. Nyx and Mika stepped forward, now was their time for revenge. Hiei and Kurama also stepped forth, but stopped when the girls shock their heads. "This is our battle, think of it as closure for all that they have put us through" Nyx said over her shoulder. To Mika "I'll take Boss, you get Arata, the best defense is a good offense, and Mika, be careful, I don't want to lose another sister" Everyone looked a little bit confused at that last statement (They don't know about the blood sister thing, haha)
Nyx and Boss circled eachother warily (I'm gonna do their fight first, then write Mika's, damn this is a lot of work, maybe I shouldn't have made her such an important character....o well, too late now!^_^ P.S. I love swedish fish!) Seeing as he wouldnt make the first lunge, she did. He dodged (man he's fast for a fat guy) and countered with his katana. (Yes he has one of those now) She dodged and made anothe swipe at him with her other blade (she has two, remember) This went on for awhile, when Nyx let her guard slip for a second (She hasn't fought in awhile, she's a mite outta practice) The result was a deep slash across her lower back. She stifled a scream as she quickly spun and slashed back with first her left blade, which was blocked as she planned, then continued to spin, slashing with her right. It's mark ran true (Haha I sound like some novelist deal, so poetic, it ran true...ok I'll be quiet) and slashed him across the throat. With his last breathe he tried to use his energy to make her burn, but was stopped, he looked over to see Hiei using his jagan to stop him (I don't know if he can do that really, but in this fic he can so there XP). He cursed him slightly and then died. The others failed to notice this, they were too focused on Mika's fight, she wasn't fairing as well.
Mika and Arata had instantly started attacking eachother since Nyx and Boss had started fighting. Her arm was somewhat of a handicap, but her sheer hate for Arata drove her on. He, being a suckerpunching bastard, tried to attack on her hurt side as much as he could. She did her best to dodge and counter, (Her spirit weapon is a spear, I thought it suited) but she was slowing down from loss of blood. Arata was not unscathed though. Mika had managed to stab him in the side with her spear, and cut him across the forhead. Their weapons were locked and it was now a battle of strength. Arata leaned close to whisper "It was great, killing first your mother, then destroying your house and your father, I had hopes of their losses driving you closer to me, but if I can't have you, no one will" Mika let out a scream of rage and yanked her spear back, Arata, surprised by her sudden energy, was caught unawares and received the shock of his life when her spear was driven into where his heart should have been. She collasped panting. She looked over at Nyx and smirked. Nyx caught her look and grinned, but it quickly changed to a look of horror as she saw Nanashi (man he does that a lot) sneak up behind her. Mika turned but before she could react, Nanashi fell apart in too pieces, she looked up to see Kurama holding his whip. She smiled gratefully as she passed out.
Nyx tried to stand up, and barely succeeded.
"Well, are we going or what?" Yusuke demanded. Kurama picked up Mika (aww) and they started off.
"So where are we going?"
"To visit the toddler, he said he wanted to meet with you and find out some information about your clan" Nyx looked up at him in surprise. Kurama was too focused on Mika to notice and Kuwabara could barely see out of his swollen eyes. Yusuke was too busy going on to Kuwabara about how he had kicked major butt in the fight and vise versa. Hiei, however, did notice. 'I wonder what that was about, surely she would want to be reunited with her clan? Unless something happened....It's weird that she has such a dark complexion and look, I thought all Voliant Siren demons had pale complexions and such...' he mused to himself. They were almost to the portal when Nyx suddenly swore.
"I forgot my stuff! I have to get it, I can't go anywhere without it and if I leave it someone else might find it!" She took off in another direction but was stopped abrutely when she ran into a solid mass, this mass being Hiei.
"Umm Hiei? Would you mind moving please? I have to go that way"
"Hn baka onna, you can't go running off alone, we have to take you to the toddler"
Nyx was about to protest when Kurama cut in smoothly (he does that a lot huh?) "How about you take her Hiei?" Hiei glared at him and Nyx looked irked to say the least. "I can take care of myself, I don't need or want a babysitter, I survived 7 years on my own, I'm sure I can manage another hour that it will take to get there and back" "Like you did when you were captured baka onna" Nyx glared up at him. "I was trying a different tactic then violence to get out of a pickle, something I guess 'all-powerful demons liek you don't have to do" Hiei growled deep in his throat as he and Nyx stood there glaring at eachother, neither noticeing how close they were (she never backed away when she ran into him). Kurama chuckled (Yusuke and Kuwabara had gone on ahead) and slipped away. Nyx suddenly turned around and noticing the lack of the others, she scowled. "Fine, come on Hiei, let's get this over with" and with that she turned and walked into the trees, and Hiei grumbled some colorful language about bossy onnas that would catch it in the end if they didn't watch their backs, followed.

Kinda lame, but I've got a lot on my mind right now, and I feel guilty if I don't update every so often, I hate waiting for fics to be updated so I'll try not to subject you readers of my story to too much of it.
