Chapter 1:The Mission
"YUSKE!!!! Where did he go this time?" It was Keiko Yukimura trying to look for Yuske Urameshi. She stopped and thought were he could be."HMMMMM???? Oh!! she said as she smack her self on her forehead. Then started running up the stairs with a look of anger. Then open the door that leads to the roof. "Yuske! Why aren't you in the classroom!
"First of all I'm not deaf. Second you know I don't like going to class."
"Why you little so-Owch!" Keiko had been hit in the head with an oar. You don't know what an oar is? It is somewhat like a boat paddle. There was also someone RIDING the oar. A girl with light blue hair and wearing a pink kimono was riding it. She swooped down next to Yuske. She was Botan the Grim Reaper.
"Sorry Keiko, dear. I need to steal Yuske for a sec." she said
"Thanks Botan you saved my butt. I thought I was going to die."
"Koenma needs to see you. Its urgent." she said with a serious look.
"Grate!" he said sarcastically. "Fine, I'll go."

Yuske was standing in front of a baby with a pacifier and a huge cap. This is Koenma, prince of the Spirt World, in his baby form.
"Yo Yuske! Long time no see."
"Come On, pacifier breath. What do I need to do?" Then a short boy with spiky hair came through the door.
"Can we get on with this?"
"Fine, fine, go on, Koenma. Keep your diaper on."
"Lately we have felt a strong aura coming for your hometown and-"
"You want me to check it out and if it a demon kill it."
"Anyways you will have Hiei assist you."
"This is only for a short amount of time. I'll be following with your new case." Hiei said in his normal I-don't-care- voice, and with a if-you-laugh-i'll-kill-you look.
"Yes, you can use the watch Botan gave you when you stated working for me. Also bring Kuwabra with you. He be of use to you."Yuske gave a low grown and left.

"Are you sure this is the right place Urameshi? Why would a demon be in a orphanage? Its to strange."
"The watch must be broken. Can you sense anything." Kuwabra turned pale and nodded.
"It is the most powerful aura I've sensed in my life. Its almost stronger than Tuguro." then out of nowhere Hiei and Kurama appeared behind them.
"You can sense it too." said Kurama as both of the boys turned around and saw him and Hiei. "It is almost as strong as Touguro. Its just a little weaker. Yuske how fast can you get your mother here."
"How come?"
"We need a disguise."
"How come I have to do it?"
"Because my mother doesn't know anything about demons or even that I HAVE to work as a spirit detective."
"And my sister is at her new job." Kuwabra said jumping in.
"Okayyyyyyyyy!!!!!!! It might take me a couple of min-"
"In his language a hour or longer." Hiei said jumping in the conversation.
Yuske blushed in embarrassment and started yelling,"SHUT UP!!!!" after calming down he asked if anybody had change so he could call home. Kurama handed some change and Yuske went to the nearest payphone. He called two times but he remembered his mom sleeping. The third time he called the answer machine went off and started to yell like he was in pain. HELLLLLPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH! MONSTER! MOM HELP! She jumped and woke up in fear and pick up the phone.
"YUSKE! WHAT HAPPENED!"she said in a worry voice
He said in a low voice as if he was half dead."Demons! help! I'm near the only orphanage in town." then he hang up and started laughing."3, 2, and 1."Yuske said. When he got to 1 his mom came with a black car speeding down the street. Yuske looked on his friends faces. They had there mouths wide open. He laughed. But then stopped because he knew he was going to get in trouble for faking the whole thing. His mom saw everything was peaceful but not anymore.
"YUSKE! WHY DID YOU FAKE YOU WERE IN TROUBLE?" she start to yell on top of her lungs.
"What are you talking about?" he said as like he dosn't know what's happening.
"DON'T PLAY DUMB!"
"I said: Help. A monster is probably here. Mom I need your help to get into this place. Then I said: Its probably a demon. I need your help please come. I'm near the only orphanage in town. I was probably using a broken payphone." then he laughed in his mind and smiled. (A/N I know its sounds corny but its an excuse. so bite me.)
Atsuko was still yelling "HOW MANY TIMES I HAVE TO TELL YOU DON'T USE THOSE CHEAP, MONEY STEALING PHONES."
"There was nothing else to use." then he got slapped on side of his head.
"What do you need me to do?"Atsuko said still mad.
"I need you to pretend you are looking for a kid to adopt."
"WHAATT! ARE YOU CRAZY! I'm having enough with you, and you want me to do this?"
"PLEEEEEAAAAAASSSSSEEEE!!!"
"All right but you better clean the house for a month, and another thing your grounded."
"WHHHAAAATTT?*SIGH* okay." (A/N I know Atsouko dosn't act like this in the seires, but she has a small hang over.)

"This looks normal" Yuske still confused."Why would a demon be here?"He whispered to Kurama.
"The kids are outside." said a nun that is the person in charge of the orphanage. The guys go outside and keep their guards up, and saw kids running around and saw a teenage girl playing with them. Than the watch pointed on the girl then went berserk.
"Who is that girl?" Yuske asked to the nun.
"She is the oldest girl in this orphanage. She was never adopted. So sad, but she doesn't care. She says she happy here and says this is her home." She said to Yuske with a worried face.
"How did she get here?"Kurama asked in a gentel voice.
"Her parents mysteriously died. She was found in the crime sene and was brought here, but the sad part is that she was only a baby. I'll leave you alone and tell me if you decided." Yuske came up to the girl and started to talk to her.
"Hey!"
"Hi!?" she said confused."Did you know I'm not going to let you adopt me it my choice, you know?" she said with a very mature voice.
Yuske got mad and then started to make his hands into a fist."Who said we were going to adopt your sorry butt."
"Ok, then why are you talking to me?"
"I was going to ask if you remember anything about your parents death?"
"What are you the FBI or something." Yuske was going to punch her but Kuwabra hold him back. Kurama stepped up. Then she stopped what she was doing and stand still. Then she said "I told you I'm not interested." She turned around and stared at Kurama with tears going down her cheek.
"You remember, don't you?" she nods. He looks at Yuske. Kurama starts to walk to her."Please tell us what happened."

The boys and the mysterious girl are sitting down in a living room. She started to talk. "My name is Siyuki. I'm 15 years-old."
"Now we are getting some where."Kuwabra said impaction.
"Tell use about your parents death." said Kurama also impaction. She took a deep breath.
"All I remember is a gun shot and a person in a cloak."
"Did you see its face?" Kurama asks her. She nods with a no.
"No. The only reason I don't want to get adopted is because I don't want people to die because of me."
"So you were just acting?" Yuske asks her in a calm voice
"Yes." she says. Her eyes start to water."You don't how hard it is to see everyone having a family and your alone."
Kuwabra stands up and walks over to her and bends next to her and says to her,"Well now you don't."
"Really!" she stand up in excitement.
"Yes because, I Kazuma Kuwabra have a friend that NEEDS a sister to take care of him."
"Who is it?" Siyuki asks in disbelief.
"Yuske Uramishi!"
"WHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kuwabra have you gone crazy. My mom doesn't want another child, and anyway a don't need a sister."
"Well I don't take up much space, I know how to cook and clean, I need a home please!!" She says with a sad face that would make anyone say yes.
"Talk to my mom."
