Hi!.........Hi!.......yeah ummmmmmmmmmm.How should I start this out?......Well......hmm.Yeah all I can say is that this is gonna be THE BOMB story.I have my plan all figured out!I'm gonna make her meet him,and then she's going to meet him and her and her and him!
^.^ Yeah I'm so cool.This is my fifth fic I've started.I already deleted Daburu Unmei and Demon's Bane so you know if I don't like something,I'll get rid of it.I have an Inuyasha story and a Final Fantasy 7 story out right now and I've read a hell of a lot of fics so I'm getting into the act of knowing how to write well.Yep,my grammer has improved greatly. hooked on fonix dun gewd four mee,.Heheheheeh I'm just kidding.I make straight A's in all my classes,especially English.Well I probably won't make a very good grade in P.E. which is what I have to take when i get back from spring break. But you probably didn't want to know that because you don't know me and I'm not very important to say the least.Ok......I'm gonna start the story now!

Chapter 1:The dangers of following Yusuke!
''Yumiko,is something the matter?''inquired Keiko.Yumiko looked up from the ground.''No,nothing.''
The black haired girl stared at the ground.''Except that...''Keiko stopped in front of her and brown eyes stared into hazel ones.''Except what?''Yumiko looked up.
"I've been so confused ever since Yusuke came back.I mean I'm glad he's ok but.....I don't understand it.How could he just come back to life?''Keiko smiled sweetly at Yumiko.''That's something we're all still trying to figure out."Yumiko laughed a bit.''The only guess I have is that that stupid cousin of mine started beating up all the other ghosts so they sent him back!''Keiko started to giggle,and walked a bit in front of Yumiko.''Yumiko,I'm so glad we've been talking!Usually you're so distant...''
Keiko turned around and looked at Yumiko,who was busy staring up at the sky.Keiko gave a sweatdrop.''Like that.''Yumiko pushed a strand of her hair back behind her.Having hair to your mid-back was sometimes a problem.
She turned back to Keiko and started walking again.Silence was her thing.Is wasn't her fault,it's just that sometimes she went into modes of submission,just thinking about nothing and everything at the same time.
Yumiko sighed.Maybe she should try to be more like Keiko,the perfect girl that everyone wanted to be.Yumiko snorted.Nah,to hell with that.It's not like she even wanted friends.They'd have to accept her as she was.Keiko started talking again,and Yumiko caught the last part of her sentence.''......are you sure you want to wear stuff like that when you start school?The teachers will get awfully mad,and I don't want you to get in trouble!''
Yumi looked down at her choice of dress.She saw nothing wrong with loose black pants and a sleeveless black training shirt.She looked at her jewlery,her necklace with the ravens talon holding a crystal ball,and her black leather wristbands.Yumiko tilted her head to the side.''I don't know what you mean.You think the talon would be offensive?''Keiko sighed and looked down at her own school uniform.Oh well,Yumi WAS Yusuke's cousin.
Yumiko smiled.''He doesn't even know I'm moved back into town!Man,I can't believe I'm going to the same school as him!"Keiko laughed a bit.''Yeah,speaking of Yusuke....''She pointed across the street.Yumiko and Keiko waved.''HEY YUSUKE!OVER HERE!"
The black haired kid talking with a taller red haired guy looked their way with wide eyes.Yusuke grinned his goofy grin and ran across the street,followed after by Kuwabara.''Hey ladies,what's hangin'?''Yumi laughed.''Hey Yusuke,miss me?''Yusuke rubbed the back of his head.''Miss you?Yes.Your punches?No.''Kuwabara stepped behind Yusuke and tapped him.''So Yusuke,anyways,about Genkai....''Keiko turned.''Huh,what'd you say Kuwabara?''Yusuke slapped his hand over Kuwabara's mouth.''Uh,Kuwabara was just saying that he was wanting to see a...a movie!''
Keiko's eyes lit up.''Oh,I know a great foreign arts film!''
Yumiko kept herself from groaning and instead put on a fake smile.''Oh,sounds great,Keiko!''Keiko smiled.
Kuawabara took hold of Yumiko's hand.''Wow,did you know how pretty you are!?Say,you and me should go out sometime!''Yumiko twitched.''You know what?I'll call you as soon as every other guy in the world.....okay and every other GIRL in the world for that matter has perished and I am forced to be in your company.''Yusuke started cracking up.''Whoa Kuwabara that was your worst turn down yet!''He quickly regained his composure.
Yusuke turned .''Hey Keiko me and Kuwabara just need to go do something real quick ok?''Keiko perked up.''Well if it's real quick than I'll come too!"Yusuke scratched his head.''Well actually it's kind of a guy thing.''Yumiko looked around trying to figure a way out as well,watching jealously as Yusuke and Kuwabara ran down the street.
''You know what Keiko,why don't you go get all of us some seats?I actually have to use the restroom and I don't like the bathrooms in movie theaters!They gross me out!''Yumiko said.Keiko nodded.''Okay,I'll...get some seats.''Keiko walked into the movie theater,oblivious to the fact that Yumiko had gone the same way as Yusuke and Kuwabara.
Running quickly down the street,Yumiko saw a flash of blue light come from one of the alleys.She turned and peered around the corner,seeing Yusuke and Kuwabara talking to some blue haired woman.She also noticed the bodies on the ground and the bugs coming out of their mouths.''Oh that is so disgusting!"She whispered to herself.
She watched as the two boys followed the woman.She didn't know what the hell was going on,but she was about to find out.She slipped quietly down the alley,and watched as the three in front of her went into an abandoned wherehouse.She peered in through a window.She raised an eyebrow at what she saw.A trap door was in the floor of the room,and there was a greenish haze coming through it.Ok,that definitely wasn't normal.
Yumiko watched as Kuwabara and Yusuke jumped down into the miasma.She then ducked as the blue haired woman ran out and onto the streets.Yumiko sidestepped around the building and slid in through the door,locking it behind her.She edged her way over to the hatch.She looked into it.She had an irresistable urge to go down there.''Oh well.....He's my cousin so I guess I had better go after him...I can't just leave him down there...''Yumiko looked down into the space and gulped.''Okay,here goes...GERONIMO!!!!!!!!!"In all fourteen years of her life she'd never fallen from such a great height.
She landed softly yet still firmly on the ground.''Oompf!"Yumiko got up and dusted herself off.
''Now where is my cousin......''She looked around only to see Yusuke and Kuwabara fending off hordes of cloaked creatures.''Ok....this really isn't normal but if they're attacking Yusuke....''Yumiko jumped into the attack, knocking about ten of the creatures off of Yusuke.
Yusuke looked at her with suprise.''What the hell are you doing here!?''Yumiko knocked somemore of the creatures out of the way.''Helping you,what does it look like!?"Suddenly two lightsflew down,getting rid of all the creatures.Yumiko was more relieved than afraid.
Two voices came from the trees.''So we meet again,''the first said.The second didn't sound as friendly.''If you had trouble fending them off then I'm afraid we have a problem.''Two guys jumped down from the tree.''Hey guys!By the way Kuwabara,this is Kurama and Hiei,our two theives!''said Yusuke.Yumiko growled a bit.He had forgotten to introduce HER.She looked over to see the black haired guy looking directly at her.She blushed.'He's really cute!',she thought,looking at the ground and shuffling her feet.She turned to Yusuke.
''Ummm Yusuke.Yeah,I'm here too.''Yumiko said sarcastically while waving a hand in front of his face.
Yusuke frowned.''Yeah,and this is my cousin,Yumiko,who followed us in here without our knowing.''Yumiko gave a solemn look.''Hmpf,I figured you needed help.You can't fight worth shit.''Yusuke groaned and turned to Yumiko with a look of hatred on his face.''I CAN TOO!"Yumiko raised an eyebrow.''You wish,I've been kicking your ass since either of us could walk!"Kuwabara started lauging.''HAHAHA Urameshi got beat up by a girl.''Yumiko turned to face Kuwabara,all the while looking ready to kill.''Is there anything wrong with being a girl,Kuawabaka?''
Kuwabara stammered.''Ummm n-no....I just meant...uh.....''Yumiko slammed Kuwabara's head into the ground and preceded to walk on him.Kuwabara mumbled and screamed into the ground.''What was that,Kuwabaka?I couldn't hear you,because I,A GIRL, mind you,just threw your head into the ground!"
Kurama looked on amusedly.''She seems...nice.''
Hiei ''hn''d and watched with great pleasure.''I think I like this girl.''Kuwabara got up from the ground and dusted himself off as Yusuke shook with laughter.
Yumiko frowned and went to stand by Kurama and Hiei.''So...fill me in on why we're standing in what seems like a different dimension.''

Yumiko laughed and pushed aside her hair,revealing a sword scabbard.''You were saying?''Yusuke did a classic crash to the ground.''Since when did you start carrying a sword around!?''he yelled at her.
Yumiko laughed.''I've been taking lessons for about three years now.Mind you,Yusuke,you haven't seen me since I was ten.''Hiei listened with intrest.''We'll just have to see if you can take what the Saint Beasts have to offer.''said Hiei.Yusuke gritted his teeth.''Hiei...don't you....''Hiei slashed his own katana at Yumiko.''...dare..''Yusuke finished.Yumiko blocked Hiei's attack with her sword,and jumped as he swooped his sword at her feet.''Nice people skills!''she yelled while dodging his attacks.''Hiei abruptly stopped and everyone stared.''How did you do that?''Hiei asked.
Yumiko put her katana back in its sheath.''What are you talking about?''Kurama looked quite suprised himself.''Yumiko,you were going as fast as Hiei...that's not normal for a human.''Yumiko shrugged.''It didn't seem like I was going that fast.''
Kuwabara had his eyes wide open.''WOW!MAN I COULDN'T EVEN SEE THEM MOVING!HOW THE HECK DID THEY DO THAT!?''Hiei turned his head.''Well,you do have some skill.We might be able to use you after all.''
Yumiko smiled at him,feeling a bright blush creep up her cheeks.Hiei had a bit of color as well.Kurama chuckled.''Well,I suggest we be going.We've lingered too long already.''Yusuke nodded.''Time to kick some demon ass!Hiei,you and Yumiko go scout ahead.''Kuwabara yelled at Yusuke.''Hey,why ain't I scoutin ahead!?''Yusuke gave him a serious look.''I don't send morons to get themselves killed.''Yumiko laughed.''That's right Yusuke,you tell Kuwabaka!''Hiei nodded.''Nice name.''Yumiko smiled.''Thanks,shall we?''
Yumiko and Hiei scouted ahead,and finding nothing, waited at the gates of Maze Castle for the rest of the troop to arrive.They showed up ten minutes later.Yusuke was panting hard.''I said scout ahead,not run a marathon.''Yumi looked at Hiei and blushed.She mentally smacked herself.She'd blushed more today than in her entire life!
All entered Maze Castle,and Yumiko couldn't help but feel a sense of foreboding.A small winged creature appeared in front of he.It had the form of an eye.''EWWWWWW!''Said Yumiko as she threw it into a wall.The rest of the group turned around as the little creature composed its self.''You little wench!How dare you!You'll pay for that!But now onto more important matters..you've made it to Maze Castle,now you must be judged by the Gate of Betrayal.Only one will survive, and that will be because he will be the betrayer!''The little winged eye pulled a switch,and Yumiko put her hands up just as Yusuke yelled,''The ceiling!!!"Yumiko put a lot of strain on her muscles.She groaned as she tried to hold it up.The little eye laughed.
Yusuke yelled to Hiei,''Hiei!You're the fastest one of us!Get to that lever and pull it!''Yumiko held even more fast but suddenly she felt an arm around her waist pulling her out.She looked to find that Hiei had his arm around her waist,and that Yusuke had let a bout of his spirit energy flow out to make up for the loss of Hiei's strength.Hiei got to the lever quickly enough but hesitated.And he still had his arm around Yumiko's waist.Yumiko went as red as a cherry.'Man,blushing again!DAMMIT!'
The eye started taunting Hiei.''What have they ever done for you?Come now,enter Maze Castle,they are not your friends...and I'm sure the Saint Beasts would..hehe..have loads of 'fun' with that little vixen there.....''Yumiko's mouth hung open.''How dare you!Let me at him Hiei!I'll kill the little Mo Fo!"She tried to get away but was still held by Hiei around the waist.'Does he like my waist or something...?'thought Yumiko.She blushed even redder.''How dare you speak of her that way!''growled Hiei,stepping away from the lever.Yumiko smiled.He was standing up for her!Oh...she might just have a crush....The eye sounded pleased.''Good...the boulder would have crushed you anyway....''Hiei slashed at the eye with his katana.
It squeaked and fled the room.Hiei pulled the lever,and Yumiko thought the boulders at the top of the room would crush them....that is,until Hiei grabbed her bridal style and jumped on top of them.
Yusuke stepped out with a cocky grin.''I knew you'd come through,Hiei!ANd I--H-hey,why are you carrying my cousin like that!?Put her down now!!!"Hiei gave a mischievious smile.''Oh,so you don't like this,Detective? Well,I may just have to carry her around till I have to fight...''Yumiko looked shocked.What was she,a toy!?
Was Hiei just doing this to get to Yusuke?She had thought Hiei liked her!Whoa Whoa Whoa...when did she start thinking that!?Yumiko blushed as red as she could get.He probably didn't even like her!Kuwabara dropped his mouth to the floor.''What the hell!!??Why is Hiei carrying her!?He can't do that,she turned me down,so why would she like him!?...Oh well..she wasn't THAT pretty....''Hiei shook his head.''Actually...she's quite attractive...''he said as he slung Yumiko over his shoulder and ran into the castle.Yusuke dropped his jaw.''What the hell!!!??THATS MY COUSIN YOUR TALKING ABOUT!!!!''Yusuke ran after Hiei,followed by Kuwabara(the baka...lol),and after him by Kurama.
Kurama smiled as he followed the other four,and remembering the shocked,red look on Yumiko's face as Hiei said that,he chuckled.''This should be very interesting.....''he said to himself.

Yumiko put her katana back in its sheath.''What are you talking about?''Kurama looked quite suprised himself.''Yumiko,you were going as fast as Hiei...that's not normal for a human.''Yumiko shrugged.''It didn't seem like I was going that fast.''
Kuwabara had his eyes wide open.''WOW!MAN I COULDN'T EVEN SEE THEM MOVING!HOW THE HECK DID THEY DO THAT!?''Hiei turned his head.''Well,you do have some skill.We might be able to use you after all.''
Yumiko smiled at him,feeling a bright blush creep up her cheeks.Hiei had a bit of color as well.Kurama chuckled.''Well,I suggest we be going.We've lingered too long already.''Yusuke nodded.''Time to kick some demon ass!Hiei,you and Yumiko go scout ahead.''Kuwabara yelled at Yusuke.''Hey,why ain't I scoutin ahead!?''Yusuke gave him a serious look.''I don't send morons to get themselves killed.''Yumiko laughed.''That's right Yusuke,you tell Kuwabaka!''Hiei nodded.''Nice name.''Yumiko smiled.''Thanks,shall we?''
Yumiko and Hiei scouted ahead,and finding nothing, waited at the gates of Maze Castle for the rest of the troop to arrive.They showed up ten minutes later.Yusuke was panting hard.''I said scout ahead,not run a marathon.''Yumi looked at Hiei and blushed.She mentally smacked herself.She'd blushed more today than in her entire life!
All entered Maze Castle,and Yumiko couldn't help but feel a sense of foreboding.A small winged creature appeared in front of he.It had the form of an eye.''EWWWWWW!''Said Yumiko as she threw it into a wall.The rest of the group turned around as the little creature composed its self.''You little wench!How dare you!You'll pay for that!But now onto more important matters..you've made it to Maze Castle,now you must be judged by the Gate of Betrayal.Only one will survive, and that will be because he will be the betrayer!''The little winged eye pulled a switch,and Yumiko put her hands up just as Yusuke yelled,''The ceiling!!!"Yumiko put a lot of strain on her muscles.She groaned as she tried to hold it up.The little eye laughed.
Yusuke yelled to Hiei,''Hiei!You're the fastest one of us!Get to that lever and pull it!''Yumiko held even more fast but suddenly she felt an arm around her waist pulling her out.She looked to find that Hiei had his arm around her waist,and that Yusuke had let a bout of his spirit energy flow out to make up for the loss of Hiei's strength.Hiei got to the lever quickly enough but hesitated.And he still had his arm around Yumiko's waist.Yumiko went as red as a cherry.'Man,blushing again!DAMMIT!'
The eye started taunting Hiei.''What have they ever done for you?Come now,enter Maze Castle,they are not your friends...and I'm sure the Saint Beasts would..hehe..have loads of 'fun' with that little vixen there.....''Yumiko's mouth hung open.''How dare you!Let me at him Hiei!I'll kill the little Mo Fo!"She tried to get away but was still held by Hiei around the waist.'Does he like my waist or something...?'thought Yumiko.She blushed even redder.''How dare you speak of her that way!''growled Hiei,stepping away from the lever.Yumiko smiled.He was standing up for her!Oh...she might just have a crush....The eye sounded pleased.''Good...the boulder would have crushed you anyway....''Hiei slashed at the eye with his katana.
It squeaked and fled the room.Hiei pulled the lever,and Yumiko thought the boulders at the top of the room would crush them....that is,until Hiei grabbed her bridal style and jumped on top of them.
Yusuke stepped out with a cocky grin.''I knew you'd come through,Hiei!ANd I--H-hey,why are you carrying my cousin like that!?Put her down now!!!"Hiei gave a mischievious smile.''Oh,so you don't like this,Detective? Well,I may just have to carry her around till I have to fight...''Yumiko looked shocked.What was she,a toy!?
Was Hiei just doing this to get to Yusuke?She had thought Hiei liked her!Whoa Whoa Whoa...when did she start thinking that!?Yumiko blushed as red as she could get.He probably didn't even like her!Kuwabara dropped his mouth to the floor.''What the hell!!??Why is Hiei carrying her!?He can't do that,she turned me down,so why would she like him!?...Oh well..she wasn't THAT pretty....''Hiei shook his head.''Actually...she's quite attractive...''he said as he slung Yumiko over his shoulder and ran into the castle.Yusuke dropped his jaw.''What the hell!!!??THATS MY COUSIN YOUR TALKING ABOUT!!!!''Yusuke ran after Hiei,followed by Kuwabara(the baka...lol),and after him by Kurama.
Kurama smiled as he followed the other four,and remembering the shocked,red look on Yumiko's face as Hiei said that,he chuckled.''This should be very interesting.....''he said to himself.
