Disclaimer: I don't own any rights to the show.

A/N This chapter is to mostly to introduce our two OC's Ann and Tomasina (Tommi). Yes it is a kind of a strange name but my mother told me about this women she once knew when she was growing up, that helped her out in hard times, so my character is in honor of her. This is only our second attempt at writing a Fan Fic and our first at writing an original character (s) into the story so be gentle. This story may contain some OOC, but we will try to keep it down to a minimum. ^^ Ja! *

* Chapter 1 *

"Tommi are you sure you are ok with this? You don't know their customs and you diffidently don't know their language. You can still change your mind and come back home with me." Tomasina's mother hit her hand on the steering wheel in frustration, "I still can't believe that your dad forgot to make arrangements for your schooling while, he still managed to get your sister's right. You're his daughter, how could he forget his eldest daughter…"

Tommi placed a kind hand on her mother's shoulder, trying to comfort her. "Mom its ok, really. I have this letter from dad and the American schooling agents have already called the principal, and arranged everything. It will only be for a few weeks, then my transcripts will be here, and I will attend the American school, with Ann. Its not that big of a deal, they will most likely place me in a empty room by myself, where I can read, write, or whatever."

At lest that what Tomasina hoped would happen. Even though she sounded cheerful, she was freaking out on the inside. Her nerves and emotions where all tangled up, which reeked havoc on her Empathy senses. Whenever she was upset or worried she was able to feel and experience everything from the people around her, their feelings, thoughts, and even their deepest, darkest secrets. Over the years Tomasina was able to learn how to control and contain her senses, there was even times she could use them to her own advantage. Which was when she was fighting, which was quite often, even though Ann tried to prevent it, but failed three fourths of the time. Their parents had thought Tomasina's aggressive behavior was caused by her having too much energy and she needed an outlet. So they had placed Ann and Tomasina both in several different classes, to rid Tomasina of her excess energy, and help Ann hold her tongue. Classes such as gymnastics and dance. They had even tried martial arts training to maybe help Tomasina and Ann learn to control themselves, but nothing really worked. It did to an extent, but they still got themselves into an occasional fight.

Two years prior to their father getting transferred to Japan, Tomasina and Ann's sensei had explained to them why they were able to feel the things they did when they were on the defensive. He had told them that they were Empathic, meaning they could relate to other people and their emotions better then most. He had even gone as far as to teach them how to use these heightened senses to their advantage, along with their original martial arts training.

*Flash Back*

On Tomasina and Ann's last day of class, before they were to move, their sensei had given each of them a silver medallion necklace, with a large round stone that, nether of them recognized.

"Sensei what is this for?" Tommi asked, holding the necklace examining it closely.

" Yeah, and what is this strange stone?" Ann blurted out.

"That my, dears, is a soul stone. The only three in existence in the three worlds. One represents the human world, which you hold Tommi. The next representing the spirit realm which you hold Ann. And the third, which represents the Demon realm...has vanished, but remember these stones will protect you form any spirit or psychic attacks."

"Cool!" Ann announced, as she put it around her neck.

Tomasina stared at medallion in her hand. The energy from it was profound, even frightening. She tried handing hers back to him.

"I can't take this. If the stone is as rare as you say, then you should lest keep one of them, and give it to your own children."

The small Asian man, looked at his young naive student. Smiling softly he pushed Tomasina's hand that held the necklace back toward her.

"You know perfectly well that I will never have children of my own, and that stone rightful belongs to you. I see you both as my grandchildren, and as such I pass them along to you. Why do you think I have trained you two so hard, in these short few years? It wasn't for the fun of it, that I assure you."

"But…" Tommi stuttered.

"But nothing, put that damn thing on, or I will beat you unconscious." He scolded.

"I think you, should do as he says. Remember what happened the last time?" Ann said while walking over to her bag by the door.

Tomasina placed the necklace around her neck. It seemed to suit her well, as if it had been made exclusively for her. She blinked back tears not being able to help herself she hugged her sensei tightly.

"Think you sensei, thank you some much. I will always cherish it."

Ann walked back over holding her bag and hugged him as will. "Yes, thank you, sensei."

"Good, now both of you get out of here. Your mother is waiting outside for you." He stated smiling proudly.

"Yes, sensei." Tomasina answered, walking over to the door where her bag and shoes were.

Turning back around, Tommi called to her sensei. "Oh and don't forget to e-mail us in a few weeks." Walking out the door.

"You do remember how to use a computer, right?" Ann teased.

"Dear, I'm old not stupid. Now get out of here." He turned then and walked out of the main room into the back.

Ann chuckled and left the dojo for the last time.

*End of Flash Back*

Tomasina placed her hand on her medallion, looking to it for comfort.

"They better not!" Her mother exclaimed. "You're here to learn, not to waste time."

Tomasina laughed. "True but as you said I don't know how to speak Japanese, so how can I learn when I can't understand what they are saying?"

"Don't be a smart butt like your sister, you may be twins but thank god not identical. Now get out of here if you are going, or you will be late for class." Her mother ordered.

"Yes ma'am." Tommi grabbed her backpack and stepped out of the car onto the sidewalk.

"Oh and Tommi no fighting. Try to be nice to these people, they didn't have to be so kind, and let you attend until we get you schooling straitened out." Tomasina's mother shouted out the car window.

"Yes, mother" She answered rolling her eyes. She waved to her mother as she walked off heading into the schoolyard.

Hearing her mother drive off, Tommi's stomach turned over on itself.

/Well there is no turning back now. Damn I hate this. I though I would never say this but…I wish I was with Ann. /

Tomasina forced her legs to move, walking on up the sidewalk. Lost in her thoughts, she did not see the guy coming from the opposite direction. As she turned into the schoolyard, she ran right into him, knocking his bag out of his hand and her backpack off her shoulder. With the slight contact with the guy, it caused scenes and feelings to fly across her mind. Anger, fright, pain and loneliness, but the scenes that flashed through her mind was what shocked her the most. There were strange over grown plants, and a vision of a man with silver hair, fox ears and tail wearing a white outfit. The energy she felt from this person made her grab her medallion and chest falling to one knee. Tommi brought her other hand to her head, trying to decipher all the different emotions and feelings that were flowing through her.

"Miss, I am sorry, I didn't mean to run into you. Are you all right? Here let me help you up!" The boy asked holding out his hand. He had been to distracted by his thoughts for him to realize there was someone right in front of him.

Tomasina looked up at the guy, in confusion. "What?" She asked rudely, not understanding a word he was saying, and not really caring. Her head felt like it was about to explode, and her heart was about to pound out of her chest.

He blinked down at the girl, shocked by her rude reply. The girl looked up briefly before looking down again, seemly holding her head in pain. She had shoulder length light brown almost blond hair, bulled back in a high ponytail, and two long slits of bangs framed her oval shaped face.

Quickly realizing that the girl had spoke English and not Japanese, figuring she hadn't understood what he asked, he bent down on one knee laying a soft hand on her shoulder, and said softly, this time in English. "I am sorry. Are you all right?"

Tomasina shook her head, pushing the hand away. "Don't touch me." She hissed. "I am fine. Just a little dizzy."

His slight touch caused anther wave of visions to flash in front of her eyes. This time it was of a group a guys, she could only assume were his friends. One was wearing a green school uniform with slicked back hair. / Can we say punk! / Anther boy was taller then the first with barbaric features, and orange hair. /He looks kind, but there maybe a couple of screws lose on top. / The last one was some extremely short dude dressed all in black, with hair that made it seem he had stuck his finger in a light socket and got a good shock. /Hmm…seems like Ann's type/ the vision was of his interaction with them.

The boy pulled back and stood up, officially offended by the girl's rude behavior. "My apologies again. I was only trying to help." He stated in English with a bit of annoyance.

The girl stood up then bring her eyes up to meet his. She was short. The top of her head barley reached his shoulders. He noted that her eyes where a dark cerulean blue, there depth was shocking. But what shocked him the most was the amount of spirit energy this girl was giving off. It could easily rival Yuusuke's.

Tomasina blinked. /…Wow…/ the guy in front of her looked like a living, breathing God. He had dark red hair, reaching to about the middle of his back, and dark emerald eyes. His heart shape face gave off a girlish appearance and his pink uniform didn't help matters much. However, Tomasina somehow knew for a fact that underneath that uniform was defiantly not a girl, but a fine specimen of the male sex.

She gave her head a small shake. "Sorry. It's not you it was me. I was a little overwhelmed. Sorry for running into you like that. I should have been watching where I was going…" Without stopping to take a breath, she changed the subject in mid-sentence . "Wait, did you just speak English?"

His small frown turned into a smile as he chuckled. "Yes I did. Most people here do speak English, as well as Japanese." (A/N: Meaning at this school. Not the country ^^;; )

Tommi placed her hand on her face, shaking her head. "Of course, I should have guessed. They wouldn't have sent me to a school that didn't speak English, got to love how through the American military is…oh damn I need to go." Tomasina had been talking more to herself then the guy in form of her. She looked back at him. "Sorry but I have to go, talk to ya later. Bye." She grabbed her bag and ran off into the schoolyard, leaving a stunned boy behind her.

/Military? What dose she got to do with the American Military? And her sprit energy, I need to keep an eye on her, especially with her mood swings. /

Tomasina walked around the schoolyard looking for any sign of a teacher or someone in charge. As she did, she noticed that she was getting weird looks and stares as she moved about; she was really starting to get fed up with it. /If these people don't stop staring, I am about to give them something to stare at/ at that moment she spotted a older man, in a suite standing in the doorway into the school. Walking up to him, she lightly taped him on the shoulder. Getting his attention, she pulled out the note her father had given her and handed it to him, without saying a word. He looked down at her for a second then took the note reading it quickly; as he fished he nodded his head.

"So you are the new American student. We where starting to worry that you would not show up today. The principal Youji-san gave us all a briefing on your unusual case. (A/N ok I don't know if they have principles in Japanese schools but in this fic they do.) And he wished to see you before you start your class. Please follow me. "

Tomasina followed the teacher inside and let him lead her though the school and into the main office. Walking in, he led her down another hall and through a door. On the other side was a tall, slender man sitting behind a long wooden desk, reading through, what seemed to be a thick file.

"Excuse me, the American student is here, if you wish to speak with her now." The teacher stated, in Japanese.

"Hai, tell her to have a seat." The principle answered not looking up form the file.

Tomasina looked between to two men, when the man next to her, told her to have a seat and then he left. Tomasina sat there watching whom she figured to be the principle. After a moment he lifted his head, his face showing no emotion.

"Miss, Smith. I would like to welcome you to our school. I trust you didn't have any trouble, on your way here?"

To Tomasina's relief, he was speaking in English.

"Uh no sir. My mother dropped me off in front of the school, so it was rather easy to find."

"Good I am glad. You do understand that you will have to get a school uniform by tomorrow ne? We do not allow the students here to wear street clothes."

"Yes sir, I know. My mother is picking up the uniform today. I will be wearing it tomorrow."

"Good. Now, the reason that I had Mr. Seguchi bring you in here is to talk to you about your behavior. I see here that you have gotten in a number of fights in the other schools you have attended. I want to make it clear that we will not tolerate any misbehaving or rule braking at this school. We have a strict set of rules at this school and you will follow them to the fullest. You are here only because one of the American Schooling agents is a close friend of mine, and I am doing him AND you a favor. As far as I am concerned, you are starting on a clean slate. Your record holds no ground here. So use this to your full advantage. Do you understand what I am telling you Miss Smith?"

"Yes sir." Tomasina restrained the urge to twitch. She was really starting to wish she had taken her mother up on her offer of letting her stay home, instead of coming here.

A smile crossed the man's face. "Good. Then just let me get your books and someone to show you to your classes." He stood up from behind his desk and walked over to the door. "I will be only a moment." Then he walked out of the office.

A few moments later, the principle walked back in with young man behind him. Tomasina blinked, it was the guy from earlier. "Miss. Smith, this is Mr. Shuuichi Minamino. He is one of the best students in our school. He will be assisting you through your stay here. He will translate for you, help you in class and anything else you may need. I have made it to where you will have all your class with him.

Tomasina jumped up form her seat . "Hey, you're that guy from earlier?"

The principle blinked. "You two know each other?"

Shuuichi smiled. "Yes. We met briefly, outside the school."

"Well that just makes things easier then. Miss. Smith here are your books, don't worry there are all in English, so you will understand them."

"Thanks" She said less then enthusiastic, taking the books and putting them in her backpack.

Shuuichi had to hold back a chuckle, at the expression on the girl face, he could tell she was not very happy with the principle going to some much trouble making sure that she could understand her lessons.

"Miss. Smith if you are ready to go, I will show you to our first class." He said smiling kindly.

"Ya lets go." She through her bag on her back and followed him out the door.

The principle called to her before she could close the door. "Miss. Smith, don't forget about what I said about you following the rules."

"Yes sir, I won't." Smiling, she closed the door.

Following Shuuichi out of the office, Tomasina let out a loud sigh of relief.

"Miss. Smith, is everything alright?"

"It's Tommi." Tomasina stated.

"Pardon me?"

Tomasina spoke a little slower this time. She looked up at him straight faced. "I said its Tommi. I don't like being called Miss anything. All my friends call me Tommi, and if you don't want a pissed off American on your hands, I suggest you do too."

Shuuichi had to force himself not to take a step back. Her eyes were so intense, that he knew not to piss this girl off. He didn't know what would happen if he did, but he knew it wouldn't be pretty.

"Are you always this…" he stopped in mid-sentence, tying to think of the right word.

"Aggressive?" Tommi replied, a small smirk forming on her face.

"Yes, thank you. Aggressive."

"Yes. In my family you have to be, or you will be eaten alive, especially by my twin sister. Sorry if I sound rude but it's just the way I am." She said shrugging her shoulder as she readjusted her bag on her shoulder.

/Yoko: I like this female, Shuuichi. She has spunk, and that fire in her eyes; she would make a excellent mate.

Shuuichi: Be quit Yoko. We barley even know her.

Yoko: So?

Shuuichi: So what if she doesn't like us or more specifically me?

Yoko: Then let me take over. I will win her over. *Evil smirk* If not her then I will her twin.

Shuuichi: I don't think so. Besides, like I said, we don't know her. Let alone her sister. /

(A/N In cases you couldn't tell that whole conversation was held in Shuuichi's mind.)

"Minamino, what are you thinking about?" Tommi asked looked up at him.

Shuuichi blushed slightly. "Nothing important."

"Hey, is there anything else I can call you other then Minamino? Considering that we are going to be attached at the hip until I am out of this school."

" Well, you may call me Kurama if you wish." He stated.

"Kurama…OK… /How many names does this guy got? / So umm…were is our first class?"

"Right, through here." Kurama said pointing to the door right next to them.

(A/N We finally got to the point were we can call him Kurama…*dose happy dance, chanting* thank God.)

*After School*

As the last bell rang, Kurama walked Tomasina out of the school.

"Damn does Math have to be hard in every language?" Tommi asked sarcastically.

"I will tutor you if you like?" Kurama suggested kindly, with a small sweat drop.

"Really? I would appreciate it." Tommi smiled up at Kurama.

Off in the distance, Kurama heard his name being called. Looking up he saw Yuusuke, and Kuwabara walking toward them, he also saw Hiei in the tree above them.

"So who is your new girlfriend, Kurama?" Yuusuke asked grinning at him like the Cheshire cat.

Tomasina looked up at Kurama who was blushing at this point. "What did he say?"

Clearing his throat. "It was nothing" Switching to Japanese. "Watch what you say Yuusuke, she can't understand much, but she can understand a few words, and I don't think you would want to anger her. She is not Keiko, SHE will truly try to kill you."

Yuusuke took a step back. /…Ok…she really must be scary, if he says not to get her pissed off. /

"Hey Tommi, You coming or not?"

Everyone turned around and stared at a girl standing on the sidewalk. She had long red hair with two blond streaks that framed her oval face, which was set in a scowl at the moment. She was standing there, taping her right foot impatiently with her arms crossed over her chest.

" Yeah, yeah. I'm coming. Damn. Hold your horses." Tommi said, while walking over to her sister. " Hey wait, what are you doing here? I thought mom was going to pick me up."

"Yeah, well she had to pick up some stuff at the PX, plus another set of uniforms." Ann said.

(A/N PX is a military grocery store.)

"Why another set of uniforms? I only need the ones we chose the other day." Tommi stated.

"Not for you, baka, they're for me! And do you realize how short the skirts are, not to mention that they are PINK!!!"

Tomasina turned around and looked Kurama up and down several times, then spun back around to her sister. " Alright, that's it. I quit! There is no way in HELL I'm going to be wearing a SHORT, PINK skirt."

Kurama blinked a couple times looking himself over. "Is there something wrong with the way I look?" he mumbled dejectedly.

"It would seem that we have no choice." Said Ann.

"Wait, what do you mean, WE? You're supposed to be going to the American school, and I'm to join you when they get the paperwork straightened out."

About this time Yuusuke asked Kurama. "Do you think that we should brake that up over there"

He said pointing over at the two girls. "They look like they are about to kill each other."

"Yes, lets." Kurama stated already moving toward them.

"Yeah, they fixed it alright, but instead of you joining me, I am having to join you." Ann exclaimed.

"WHAAAT!!!!!!!" Tommi screamed.

Kurama walked up very carefully up to the two the girls. He noted that the red head was taller then him by a couple of inches. "Is there a problem here?"

"Ya, apparently they screwed up the paperwork...AGAIN! It would seem that you are going to have another person attached to your hip."

"What do you mean attached to his hip? Is there something I should know about, and on your first day at that!" Said Ann smirking.

Kurama blushed, as Tommi twitched. "There is absolutely nothing going on. He was just the unlucky person stuck showing me around and he will probably be the one showing you around too."

"Umm, Kurama can you tell me what she just said? I only caught half of that ranting." Said Yuusuke.

"Well it seems that not only Tommi but the girl next to her will be attending my school." Kurama stated plainly, trying not to blush. But he could hear Hiei in the tree above snickering.

"And what are you snickering at shrimp?" Tommi said looking straight up.

"I was wondering how long it would take you to figure out he was up there." Said Ann.

Hiei jumped down right in between the bickering sisters, but neither one took the time to notice him.

"I already knew, smart ass. I just didn't think it was nessicary to bring him down." Answered Tommi.

" That's a bunch of BS and you know it."

"Alright that's fighting words. How dare you call me a liar?"

"Bring it on babe. You may have born first but I sure can kick your ass."

Hiei jumped out of the why of the war that had just erupted in front of him, on sidewalk. With in moments Ann had Tommi's arm twisted behind her back.

"Cry uncle, yet? Say uncle, or I ain't letting go." Said Ann.

"I will die first." Stated Tommi.

"OK have it your way." Ann proceeded to tighten her hold on Tommi's arm twisting it more firmly up against her back.

"Ok now that hurt…the gloves are coming off!" Tommi exclaimed.

Tommi protested to pop her arm out of place, and then flipped Ann over her shoulder, on the ground. Straddling her waist, Tommi popped her shoulder back into place, the grabbed Ann's wrist holding them above her head.

"Damn. Why do you always have to pull that trick. I hate it when you do that." Ann spat angrily. "Well you please let me off the ground now?"

The four boys looked on in shock.

Yuusuke: /Remind me not to mess with those two. /

Hiei: /Not bad for some female humans. /

Yoko: /Oooooh, *shiver* aggressive…I like that/

Kurama: /Oh shut up…but it was quite impressive/

Kuwabara: /what just happened? /

Tommi helped Ann off the ground. As Ann stood dusting herself off, she turned to the four boys. "And what are you looking at? Haven't you seen sisters fight before?"

Ann turned to look at Tommi. "You ok? Didn't hurt you much did I?"

"I think I should be the one asking you that. Considering that I'm the one who won this round." Tommi smirked.

"Feh, you may have won this round but your sure as hell haven't want the war."

Kurama blinked. "S-Sisters?"

"Oh ya I forgot Kurama this is my sister Ann." Turning to Ann she said. "Ann the one in pink, is Kurama. The one in the green uniform is Yuusuke. The Neanderthal looking one, with orange hair, is Kuwabara, and shortly over there is Hiei."

Hiei sniffed indignantly "it's not as if you're much taller human."

Tommi glared over at him. "You stay out of this!"

Ann looked them all over once, stopping at Hiei. "Hiei…hmm"

"No drooling." Tommi stated smirking turning back to her sister.

"Oh you're no fun, can't blame a girl for looking." Ann whimpered.

"And this is coming form the virgin." Tommi mumbled.

"Oh and why don't we just announce it to the whole world. While were at it, why don't I just ware a sign around my neck." Ann screamed at her sister.

Kurama stepped in between the arguing sisters. "Question? How do you know all their names? I never told to you about them." He said while rising his eyebrow, looking at Tommi.

Ann and Tommi both looked around Kurama at each other. Ann mouthed to Tommi.

"You didn't tell them did you?"

"Of course not." Tommi mouthed back.

Ann looked at Kurama. "Well we need to get going. See you later."

Ann grabbed Tommi's arm and started for the car, when Hiei stepped in front of them.

"And where do you think you are going?"
