Chapter II

"Okay…Explain it to me again. How did it happen?" Yusuke asked, Kuwabara and Hiei, know switched into each others' bodies. The group sat in Yusuke's living room, going over the details on exactly how they switched. Atsuko was out doing whatever, so Yusuke really didn't show any concern for her absence.

Kuwabara (in Hiei's body) flopped backwards into a chair, giving up on explaining it again. He expected to feel his head hit the top of the chair but instead felt it hit halfway done the back. It was going to take a while getting used of being shorter.

Hiei (In Kuwabara's body) sighed angrily and decided just to say what happened one more time. "We've told you a hundred times already detective. That woman and her crazy, mindless friend fooled around with that box and somehow got it to work. She shot a blast; it hit me and the idiot"-"HEY!" Kuwabara yelled, jumping up quickly accidentally misjudging the distance to the ground, and almost falling face forward, if he hadn't grabbed the arm of the chair and pulling himself up in time.- Hiei continued, ignoring him completely. "And I woke up in this body."

"Aha. I see." Yusuke said, finally understanding. Hiei (still in-I think you got the idea by now) leaned back, hating Kuwabara's tallness.

"Here's the deal!" Botan said, walking in form the kitchen with Kurama following her. "WEW have one week to figure out how to switch Kuwabara and Hiei back into their bodies."

"Why one week?" Kuwabara asked, mentally cursing Hiei for being so…well, short.

"Because Koenma gets back in a week. We don't want him to know about any of this." Botan replied, sitting down on a couch. "He'll come back all relaxed and such."

"If he found out about this, he'd would probably become stressed and take another vacation." Kurama said, sitting down beside Botan.

"Exactly." Botan said, looking from Hiei to Kuwabara. "Any ideas on what we should do first?" she asked, looking hopefully at everybody. Yusuke just shook his, indicating that he was out of ideas, same with Kuwabara. Hiei just looked uninterested, even though the whole thing had him involved greatly.

"How about we just search for Rena and Andrea until we come up with something else?" Kurama suggested, getting up and heading for the door.

Everybody else nodded and followed him out of the house.

The Spirit Detectives plus one blue-haired grim Reaper walked down a street toward the first place that they could think of to find Rena and Andrea. Target. They didn't say much while they walked, just the occiasionly curse from Hiei or Kuwabara about each others' height conditions.

They past several stores: Wal-Mart, Lowe's', Cuts-by-us, and Zaxby's. They reached target, Yusuke being the first to break the silence that was there.

"Why would they be here?" he asked, looking around curiously. They stood in front of the store, people walking in and out of its doors like turtles.

Botan shrugged. "I just picked the first store that came to mind."

Yusuke sweatdropped. "Jeez Botan, you could be a little more choosy about which stores you pick."

"I agree with Yusuke. I would have picked a store or place that was similar to their personalities." Kurama added, looking around and getting out of somebody's way. Target was hoppin' today.*

They stood for a couple of minutes, looking to see if they could find the two thieves. Hiei smirked, thanking Kuwabara for his tallness where as Kuwabara was cursing Hiei for being…er…short.

Some music drifted their ears, sounding something that Rena would be listening to according to her personality.

They ran over to the source of the music, pushing through shoppers entering and exiting Target. They reached the spot and they stumbled upon none other than Rena and Andrea, Rena holding a boom box with the music blasting and Andrea sitting by her friend, drinking what look like a white cherry iccee.

Andrea looked up, squeaked and jumped up, causing Rena to look up and notice the spirit detectives plus one blue-haired Grim Reaper.

Rena set down her boom box and suddenly yelled "RUN!" and took off running with Andrea right beside her.

The spirit detectives plus one blue-haired Grim Reaper ran right after, catching up with them fairly quickly. They were about a foot away from the running two girls when they made a quick left turn, making Yusuke almost slam into a bench. He grabbed hold of Hiei, saving himself from a painful collision with the bench.

"That was a sharp turn…" he said as he looked toward the place where they had ran off to. They weren't there. "Damn! Lost them!" He sat down on the bench to think up somewhere else to find them now.

Somewhere up on the roof tops above the group's heads, Rena and Andrea sat, catching their breath. They had almost barely escaped. Yusuke was a fast runner.

"Apparently this stupid box is very valuable to them if they are still after us." Rena said with a smirk, pulling the silver-metallic box out of her pocket.

"It's not stupid!" Andrea said, defending the box. "If it was stupid then how come it saved out butts the last time we ran into Yusuke?"

Rena shrugged as she put the box back into her pocket. "We'll just have to be more cautious of where we go now. They're tricky."

Andrea just stared at her friend. "No they're not. We were just sitting there in broad daylight in public where they could see us."

"I realize that!" Rena snapped angrily at Andrea.

"No you didn't!" Andrea said angrily back

"Yes I did!"

"No!"

YES!"

"NO!"

"YES!"

"NO!"

Kurama leaned his head back against the bench back, in deep thought. Today was going to be such a long day if they didn't find those too soon. He about drifted off to sleep when a loud yell reached his ears.

"YES!"

His eyes snapped open and he looked around, seeing everybody else doing the same. It sounded like Rena.

"NO!"

That time it sounded like Andrea.

They looked up and saw Rena's blue hair close to the edge. It seemed the two were arguing…again.

Yusuke and Kurama both jumped up and ran down an alley, leaving Botan, Kuwabara, and Hiei by the bench. They found a fire-escape ladder that lead all the way up to the roof and climbed it, hoping to catch the two before they got away again.

They reached the top in less than 2 minutes, jumping up onto of the roof and walking quickly over to the bickering girls.

"NO!"

"YES!"

"N-What were we arguing about again?" Andrea asked, looking confused at Rena, Yusuke and Kurama.

The three sweatdropped.

"We were arguing over….ummmm…DAMN! Now I don't know!" Rena said in defeat to Andrea, neither taking notice of Yusuke or Kurama, who were both standing there, looking at them strangely.

Andrea started laughing at Rena. "Now you know how I feel!" she said, pointing her finger at her angered blue-haired friend.

"SHUT-UP ANDREA!" Rena yelled, getting ready to beat her friend across the head.

Yusuke looked Kurama. "Can we just get this over with?" he asked, waiting to get away from these two lunatics as soon as possible.

Kurama nodded, wanting the same. These two were plain out lunatics that needed to stay away from people at all costs.

Yusuke nodded back and gave a little cough to get their attention. It worked.

They both stopped and looked at Yusuke and Kurama.

"Chess? May we help you?" Andrea asked, looking at the two as if they interrupted something important.

"Yes. Just kindly had over the silver metallic box and we'll be on our way." Kurama said, hoping that was all it was to it.

It wasn't.

Andrea immediately jumped up, yelled out "NEVAH!" and pointed her finger accuseively at them. She grabbed Rena's arm and ran to the edge of the roof and jumped.

Yusuke and Kurama ran to the edge and looked over, expecting to see Andrea and Rena on the ground in pain or still falling.

They had disappeared.

"Damn!" Yusuke said, punching hid fist into the side of the building. They had gotten away…again.
