KN: AND WE'RE BACK!

HM: Eh…We've been back for what…three days already. *bash Kaori with a mallet*

KN: Oi…@_@...Me head…Me go sleepy sleep! Nighty night!

HM: Eh…I shouldn't hit her that hard. *shrugs* Anyways…Read on! By the way…in this chapter, you'll meet your friends. Read and review!

After breakfast, Genkai showed you around the temple, which took five hours. Then Yukina showed you where the hot springs are, which only lasted half an hour. Then you and the Rei Tantei was called to Reikai by Koenma.

You have met Koenma once only. That's when he teaches your class. Well, your class laughed at him for being a baby, so he changed into his teenage form, hitting everyone, except you, with a mallet on the head. You just stayed quiet and listen to what he has to say about Class S demons. You didn't want to listen, but you wanted to show respect to the young ruler of Spirit World, you fake paying attention to him. Then you remembered him in your piano class. He did made fun of how you played the piano so…professionally.

Living with your thick temper, you don't get angry fast…it takes you a while to get mad. Let's say around five hours after someone insulted you. Koenma didn't insult you, he was teasing you, and you knew it. He also requested you to play the instrumental version of White Night True Light by Yamasaki Masumi. Well, you also liked that song, so you played it for him. He also commented you on it.

The five of you entered Koenma's office, with Yusuke usual greeting to him: "What do you want pacifier breath?" You giggled when you heard what Yusuke said. Of course many students called him that, but never in front of his face.

"Shut up Yusuke," Koenma's voice entered your ears. You can tell by his high squeaky voice that he's in his toddler form.

"Koenma-sama," you said, bowing, "it's great to see you again." Koenma's high chair spun around to face the five of you. You saw a smile on Koenma's face. You smiled back, bowing again.

"Can you play that song again?" he asked. You just nodded. "When you are available, of course." You just nodded. "The reason all five you are here is because of __(y/n)__'s friends."

"What so important about them?" Kuwabara asked. You knew what kind of trouble your friends are in, and you're worried that they might die.

"Someone is after them," you said, looking at your bracelet. The bracelet you're wearing had two names carved on it: yours and Yume Li. Yume Li was one of your friends, and she's the oldest one in your group. She's not only your friend, but she's more like a sister to you.

Yume as everyone think she's a dream, because she's irresistible. Her black hair not only glows, but it shines in the light. Her brown eyes glisten in the light, showing only two emotions: sorrow and happiness. She's never mad or anything. She's always happy or sad. She's easy to talk with, but hard to get. There's only one problem about her, she's a klutz.

Your other friend, Mizu Tai, is the youngest one out of the four. She's an Ice demon. She's not strong as you, but stronger than your other two friends. Her icy blue hair can be mistaken as ice, and her icy blue eyes are always…blank. She's not distant or anything, but she's hard to understand, for she barely talks to anyone, and her eyes never show anything. She's the best liar in your group. Her only problem is once she lies, she will lie on and on until someone knows that she's lying.

Your last friend is Kenji Hono. He's the only boy in your group. He's some type of demon. You don't even know what kind of power he posses. Only Yume knows, since he's her cousin. You tried to ask her but she said his power is based on the moon and some kind of white gem. He speaks in riddles and smiled mysteriously. You don't even know what's his real hair color is, since he change it from time to time. He's amethyst eyes stays the same every time, except when he's mad. When he's mad, his eyes turn blood-red, scaring everyone.

You four, as everyone called you, the Four Blades, because you four are the sharpest in your school. You being the strongest, then Mizu, and then who knows whether Kenji is stronger than Yume or Yume stronger than Kenji. But for sure, you, Mizu, and Yume knows how to play an instrument. You know how to play the piano, Mizu playing the clarinet, and Yume the flute. Kenji is…more like the…non-music guy.

Demons are after Mizu, Yume, and Kenji. Somehow, they're not after you. You will always see those three running away from demons and fighting with them. One time, you had to call up the Migan to kill the demon. Not only the Migan has helped you, but it also weakens you. From that day on, you never call up the Migan, knowing what it will do to you.

"I would like you guys to meet Mizu Tai, Kenji Hono, and Yume Li," Koenma said as the three stepped out of the shadow. You smiled as you saw your three friends.

"HEY TODDLER!" Kenji shouted in Koenma's ear. "I THOUGHT YOU SAID THAT __(Y/N)__'S GONNA BE HERE!" Koenma was shaking. "IF SHE'S NOT HERE IN FIVE MINUTES, THIS BLADE WILL CUT YOUR-"

"Kenji!" you exclaimed. "That's not the way to treat the ruler of Reikai." Yume and Mizu was laughing at Kenji. "Did you not see me?" Kenji was staring at you, opening and closing his eyes.

"__(Y/N)__!" Kenji screamed, choking you as he gave you his bear hug.

"Guys…help!" you squeaked, flailing your arms about. Yusuke had to pull Kenji off you.

"DON'T TOUCH HER BAKA!" Kenji shouted. Did I mention that he's a loud mouth and over protective? Now I did. You tapped on Kenji's shoulder. "What is __(y/n)?"

"He's my brother," you whispered. Kenji didn't hear you whispered; only Mizu and Yume did.

"Eh…Kenji…" Yume said, tugging on Kenji's sleeve. "That's __(y/n)__'s brother." You looked over Kenji's shoulder and saw Yusuke.

"Eh…Onii-chan," you said, walking over to Yusuke's said. You waved a hand in front of his face. "Onii-chan…He's my friend." You felt someone pulled you back. You looked at the person that pulled back and saw Kurama. "What's wrong with him Kurama-kun?" Kurama just shook his head.

"WHAT WAS THAT FOR?" Kenji asked, holding onto his right eye. You looked at Yusuke then to Kenji. "I DID SAY SORRY!"

"What happened?" you asked.

"Yusuke just punched him in the eyes," Kurama replied.

"Your mission is to protect these three," Koenma interrupted. You smiled, Kurama smiled, Kuwabara nodded, Hiei just 'hn'-ed, and Yusuke just growled. "And I don't want to see one of these three injured, hear that Yusuke?" Once again, Yusuke growled.

"You better stay away from my little sister," Yusuke growled at Kenji.

"You better stay away from my friend," Kenji hissed. "Wait, your sister?"

"Your friend?" Yusuke asked. Both of them looked at you. You nodded and smiled, getting ready for the worse. You covered your ears, knowing that they'll scream.

Indeed they did, "WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME?" both of them screamed at the same time. You went to Kurama, tugging on his sleeve, asking for help. Well, Kurama stepped in front of you, stopping the two from attacking you.

"What kind of friend are you Hono-kun?" Kurama asked. "And what kind of brother are you Yusuke?" Both of them stopped to think.

"Bad ones," both of them replied and started towards you again.

"I'm going back to Genkai's first," you whispered in Kurama's ears. Kurama looked at Kuwabara and Hiei, telling to help.

"I'll go with you," Kurama said while you nodded. Kuwabara was holding back the two, while Hiei was creating a portal. After the portal was opened, you jumped in with Kurama close behind you. The portal closed after Kurama jumped in.

"Arigatou," you said, bowing.

"What for?" Kurama asked, slightly confused.

"Helping me back there," you said softly. Kurama just chuckled and left. "Where are you going?"

"Home," he said, "my mom will be looking for me if I'm not home by now." You just nodded. You turned towards the temple and started for your room.

+Spirit World+

"MOVE IT KUWABAKA!" Yusuke shouted. He didn't see you leave.

"Hn…they're gone," Hiei said as he created another portal and left with the portal closing behind him. Kenji looked at Yume and Mizu.

"Will you two please create a portal?" he asked. Yume and Mizu coughed. "Don't tell me you didn't bring your weapons."

"We did," Mizu replied, "but…"

"We won't open it," Yume said, "because you're going to kill __(y/n)__. Why did you think she wanted to left?" Yusuke and Kenji were looking guilty. "Koenma-sama, where will we be staying?"

"At Genkai's," Koenma said. He called Botan in.

"Yes sir?" Botan asked, saluting Koenma as a joke. "Portal coming right up, SIR!"

"What did you drink?" Koenma asked Botan through squinted eyes.

"Six cans of Coke, five cans of Pepsi, four cans of 7Up, eight cans of Sprite, seven cans of Mountain Dew, three cups of coffee, SIR!" Botan replied, saluting Koenma again. Koenma's, Yusuke's, and Kuwabara's mouth dropped to the floor.

"You should lay those off," Koenma muttered. "Very well, create a portal…NOW!"

"YES SIR!" Botan screamed, saluting him again. She turned around and created a portal to Genkai. "Portal to Genkai has opened, please leave now!" They all file into the portal with Botan going after them.

+Genkai's temple+

You heard a few shouts and crashes downstairs. Guessing that it's them, you went downstairs to greet them, not knowing that Botan was very…hyper. When you reached the last step, Botan jumped on you, knocking you down.

"Botan-chan!" your scream was muffled under Botan. "Get off me!" No movement. "Help!" You felt Botan going off you, thanks to Mizu and Yume. "Arigatou Mizu-chan, Yume-chan." Both of them nodded. "She's…ano…"

"Hyper?" Yusuke asked behind you. You tensed up, scared. "She's always like that. Now…about what happened in Spirit World…" Kenji was in front of you, while Yusuke was in back of you.

"Ano…Genkai-sama needed to talk to me," you lied quickly, running to the training area with everyone behind you. (HM: I wonder why. Hey…Kaori wrote this chapter, and I'm typing this chapter. Read on.) "What is it that you need, Genkai-sama?"

"Training's tomorrow," Genkai said. "Pick who you want to train with first. The idiot, dimwit, three eyes, or fox. And do not bother me anymore. Answer tomorrow. Now…GO AWAY!" Yusuke and Kuwabara instantly ran away with Kenji after them. You, Yume, and Mizu walked to the lake. You three talked about school first, and somehow Mizu slowly changed the topic to Kurama.

"What do you think of him, Yume?" Mizu asked, looking deep into the lake. "And I'm just curious."

"Eh…he's okay," Yume said, "but not good for me. I think he's good enough for __(y/n)__."

"Nani?" you asked Yume. "Kurama's good for me? Don't joke around here." Yume nodded in reassurance.

"You guys will make a good couple," Yume said, smirking. There was a small tint of red on your cheeks.

"Plus," Mizu said, "I sense some kind of chemical between the two of you." The red on your cheeks grew darker. "Ah…I see…little __(y/n)__ is crushing on the King of Bandits."

"The King of what?" you asked. You thought you heard wrong. You knew he was a fox demon, but King of Bandits, the Youko Kurama? No way.

"I said the King of Bandits," Mizu said, "as in Youko Kurama." You stared up in the sky. "What are you thinking now?"

"Nothing," you replied. 'Kurama…Youko Kurama…I see now,' you thought. Soon night came and dinner was a disaster.

Kenji kept on demanding for your famous fried rice, while Mizu was glaring at Hiei. Yume was fighting with Yusuke over the seat near you. Your left seat was taken by Kurama, who came right before dinner. You were getting a headache over the shouting so you excused yourself.

You went into the kitchen and cooked up some miso soup. "I don't feel like cooking fried rice," you said as you carry out a big bowl of miso soup. "So how about some miso soup?" Well, that certainly calm everyone down. You set down the bowl of miso soup and the only three people that dig in were Yusuke, Kuwabara, and Kenji. "Eh…there's more in the kitchen." Well, you don't need to say no more, because the three rushed in the kitchen and ate it all. "I'll make some more." You were going to return to the kitchen when Kurama pulled you back.

"I'll help," Kurama said, smiling.

"Arigatou Kurama-kun," you said, smiling. You didn't notice Mizu and Kenji exchange glances with each other. Both you and Kurama walked into the kitchen and started dinner.

=After dinner=

Yusuke had to show Mizu, Yume, and Kenji their room. To his disappointment, he didn't get to see the whole match of Chess between you and Kurama. (KN: I don't know anything about chess so…erm…let's just say…it's very long.) Each single game lasted for two hours. Both of you played until midnight, that's when Kurama declared that he has to be home.

After Kurama went home, you went to sleep. You yet still doesn't know who you want to train with yet.

=Morning=

You woke up and finally decided that you wanted to train with

HM: The boys…they promised that they'd help with carrying the boxes. *sighs* Well, I have to do it by myself…Ja ne!
