Chapter 5: Yoko's decision and Yuko's unknown power

"So Yoko Kurama who will you choose to save? Either of your best friends or your girlfriend."

"Yuko is not my girlfriend she is nearly an acquaintance that is a girl who just so happens to hang around Ningenkai a lot."

"That's not what it sounded like when you unconscious because you to were both talking about her as you switched."

"Hiei you ready to die" said Ryton as he entered the ring. Hiei replied with an "Hn."

In Yuko's arena the girl's spirit's were released but seemed different.

"Oh yes when we captured your female companions souls we also took control of them to see if Yuko is as tough and ruthless as she lead's people on she is." In kuronue's arena he was to face Yusuke, Kuwabara and Genkai who were also all put under a spell.

"Oh as you were unconscious Yuko, Kuronue and Hiei we slipped on the ingenious device that drains your spirit energy."

"So Yoko Kurama who you will choose to save and who do you want to see die."

"And Yoko they can all hear your answer as well as talk to you." Karasu said gleefully.

"Just because they can't use their powers doesn't mean I can't use mine."

At that moment the death tree loomed over Karasu and plants untied Yoko Kurama.

"Release my friend's souls and let Kuronue, Hiei and Yuko go." "Smart move fox but we were prepared. We have no use for the souls or Kuwabara, Yusuke or Genkai. We captured them to get yours and Yuko's attention." At that moment, a metal band clamped around Yoko's wrist.

"Ahh! What is this?" Yoko asked slightly puzzled. Yoko quickly turned around to see Yukina, but Yukina's eyes looked different, they looked emotionless and dull. Yoko suddenly realized that he was being tied back up by Shizuru.

"W…What's going on here? Yukina? Shizuru why are you doing this to me?" Immediate pain had shot right through Yoko's back.

"AHH!!!" Yoko screamed with pain and horror.

"I told you Yoko, Yukina and Shizuru are under my control, and since you are to weak-hearted you will not fight back!" Karasu had said, then Yoko realized that the rosewhip had fallen into Karasu's hands. Karasu had suddenly started to whip Yoko and watched as he screamed in pain, while he grinned with delight.

"AHHHH!!!!!" Yoko screamed over and over gritting his teeth and biting his tongue, until he drew blood. Yoko was to the point of almost crying from the pain, but he knew that he must show strength for if he didn't Hiei and the others that realized what was going on, might show fear and make Ryton and Karasu laugh in delight. Yoko had grown angry at the wicked men, and had decided to shout back horrid things.

"Damn you Karasu, I will one day destroy you for good, and when I do, it won't be fast! I will find your weaknesses and you will feel my wrath!!!!!!!!!"

"On the contrary Yoko, you'll be dead long before I die!" At that moment, a blood curdling scream appeared out of nowhere, it was Yuko! While Yuko was watching Yoko's torture, she was attacked viciously by Yuri and Akai!
