The Eternal Treasure
Chapter One: The Rumor
The human servant was quickly dusting his master's bedroom when he heard the window open. He looked up to seenothing but the wind blowing the curtains. He slighlty shivered as he closed them. He couldn't get that rumor out of his head. Supposedly some theif by the name of Yoku Kurama was breaking into upper class human's house and stealing the most precious things they had to offer. But what was so strange was the fact that each house that was broken into were secretly hiding much much darker objects than ordinary jewels or valuable antiques. These houses were owned by humans and demons alike that were well known in the black market. His own master had just purchased a necklace that could control fire. the servant went back to his dusting. After he finished he quickly looked around the room. Seeing no one there he went to his master's bed and slighlty applied presure to the headboard where a curved design was shaped to look like an eye. The mirror beside the bed swung open to reveal a vault. He put the code in and the vault unlocked. As he gently took the necklace out he felt the hairs on the back of his neck rise. As he looked into the core of the demonic jewel he saw the silhoutte of someone standing behind him. As he swung around the necklace was snatched from his hands by a very tall and very powerful fox demon. He knew who it was at once. "Yoku Kurama." As the man began backing away from the theif he knew at once he had failed. The necklace was gone and his master would no longer need him. As the whip came sailing towards him he only cloed his eyes for the final blow. As the fox demon jumped out the window a quick "thank you" was said.
Three nights later the necklace had been sold and Yoku was once again waiting for news for an object worth stealing. But naturally he heard of none. He was starting to get bored. He wanted to steal something no one had ever dared of stealing. He sighed as he walked into his hideout. He looked around. You could call his room spartan but what little was in it was extremley valuable. His funiture was made from trees that had once fed on human blood. they would kill anything that threatned their owner. His mirror allowed him to see into any living quarters in any world. And of course his bath had healing waters running through their pipes healing any wounds. He had stolen these items and kept them for his own purposes. he walked to the mirror and wondered if any black market fools had recieved anything new for him to take. It was beginning to get a little more challenging though. his deeds and thiefts had put all people on lookout. Not that it mattered to him. he liked to be challenged. As he looked through the images that were surfacing on his mirror, he saw one that caught his attention. He sw a well known human man speaking with what looked like a hobo. The two shook hands and both walked away from each other. Yoku had stolen from the human before. he wondered what deal had just been made.He sighed and took laid down on his bed. As he fell asleep he thought and thought about his next mission.
((Ranera Property))
As he walked away from the "hobo" he smiled to himself. He knew that fox thief had a mirro that could see anyone anywhere. he had just hoped he had seen him. As the largest name in the black market he had despised that demon. Kurama had stolen his precious book. that book...that had told him how to live forever. he would get that damn fox to tell him where it was. So he had set a trap of a sort for the theif. he had a new treasure. the most rare he had ever owned. And he knew Kurama would come to get it. As the human named Ranera chuckled to himself, he walked into his living quarters. "Soon. Soon I will have you Yoku Kurama."
