The Forbidden
I own no Yu Yu Hakusho Characters, but I do own the voice in Hiei's head and the other people I will add later!
Flames ravish a town, burning all in it's path. Screams echo as old and young, rich and poor, die amidst the black flames of hell. Black and red in color, the flames turn bone to ash in a metter of seconds. Frenzied townspeople, those still untouched by the flames, run, trying to find escape. Finding none, they accpet their fate and cling to their loved ones, saying their goodbyes, and promising a bright tommorow in the after life. A shadowed figure stands calm among the panicking, infact, they seem almost happy, for he is the source of the flames. From his palms shot that which murder a population without care or regret, and from his thoat, deep laughs of enjoyment at other's pain.
Hiei shot forward, sweat covering his face. The dream was so real... Almost as though Hiei himself was the clocked figure. Lifting his hands to his red eyes, Hiei gasped. The center of his palms was emitting smoke, and identical burn marks rested on each hand.
See what you have the power to do? See what others have kept you from doing? Those horrid Ice Maidens that banished you so long ago, they should be the first to go... Don't you agree Hiei?
Hiei grimaced as a voice spoke to him in his head. "who are you?"
That is unimportant. What is important is that you, and all the other's like you who have suffered unjustly, be righted, and recieve the revenge they so desire!
"What part do I have in some one elses revenge?"
"Dont you see? You, Hiei, are a forbidden child. Others, like you, are also forbidden children, unholy offspring. With you, they may rise to victory and lead an attack on Makai, and the human world!
"..."
"So you will consider it?"
"No, my answer is no."
"Fine, but know this, you will change your mind, and join the fight!"
"Go to hell."
"I plan to."
"..." Hiei frowned. Where had the voice come from?
Looking into the sky, Hiei groaned. Botan was speeding his way, just what he needed at that moment.
Botan stopped by Hiei, "G'morning!" Hiei glarred, "What?!" Botan's smile vanished. "Koenma has a mission for you and the others. They've already assembled, we just need you!"
Soon enough, Hiei arrived at Koenma's office, his usual scowl in place. Koenma nodded, satisfied that all his detectives had assembled. The screen behind him flickered to life, showing pictures of what appeared to be a prison cell. The bars seemed made of bones, and sutra's stuck to them. Despite the sutras, it seems whatever had been imprisoned inside wasn't inside anymore.
"This is a picture taken recently of Hitoya, a prison that holds..." Koenma cast a glance at Hiei and shifted nervously, "Forbidden children." Everyone looked to Hiei, who's look was of pure, utter shock. Kurama spoke up, "You mean to say that forbidden children are held in Hitoya, regardless of criminal activities?"
Koenma sighed, "Yes, about twenty years back, a tribe in Makai was having trouble with Forbidden children attacking them, so they schedueled a meeting with my father, EnmaDaioh. It was decided that any forbidden children that could be found would be locked away, as well as any forbidden children that are born after that."
Kurama spoked up once more, "Doesnt that seem a little drastic? As much problem as Kitsune Youkai have caused, you still allow them to roam free and not imprisone them, so why do you imprison forbidden children?" Koenma sighed, It's for their own safety as well. Demons in Makai were getting impattiant with them, and began killing them." Behind Koenma, Botan sniffled, "Oh it's just not fair! And now they've broken out and a warrant has been issued commanding anyone who see's one to kill them!"
Koenma took out his binky, "I was getting to that Botan. As Botan said, they have broken free of the Sutra. Estimated numbers total about three hundred. My father placed Warrants giving free passes for anyone who kills one. Which is why you've been gathered. My father said that any you guys can round up will simply be put back in Hitoya."
Yuusuke sighed, "That whole law is a piece of crap Koenma, and you know it. I'm not happy bout this, but we'll do our best to gather as many as we can." Hiei scowled, "Everyone but me... I'm going to Makai. Alone." With that, the Fire demon stalked off, leaving everyone dumbstruck.

Okay, that's the first chapter to 'The Forbiden' I hope you all liked it. It'll take turns from darkish, to any other genres I feel like having.
