Dark grey clouds crowded each other as the sun slowly descended to the horizon. The wind was alive with promises of rain and lightning. People hurried quickly to their appointed destinations, avoiding the jovial comments and greetings in an effort to arrive safely before the heavens unleashed their furry.
From a vantage point above it all, a figure watched with amused detachment. His eyes scanned the streets below, searching out his prey, unconcerned with the worsening weather around him. Silently, constantly, he watched the hurrying figures below. A familiar figure finally appeared and his eyes tracked it as it too hurried through the blustery streets.
With a twitch of his lips, the dark hunter began following the unsuspecting figure below. Keeping to the roof tops, he knew he'd be unseen by his quarry and allowed himself to smile at the thought of the capture. The things he would do…he brought his mind sharply back to the hunt. If he allowed himself to get distracted, he might loose his prize. He noted with a little of what might be alarm that the hurrying figure he was following had looked over its shoulder, hesitating a step before shaking its head and hurrying on again. `Damn,' he thought, `that was close. I need to pay attention.'
Focusing on the task at hand, he redoubled his efforts to keep the fleeing figure in site. To his surprise, instead of heading to its home, the figure took a different path. Was the hunter found out? He frowned slightly and continued to follow from the rooftops. Where was his prey leading him? `Ah, this looks familiar,' he thought with a grin, now recognizing his quarry's destination. Yes, he had been found out, but that would turn to his advantage. His tongue flicked over his lips as he thought of the advantages the new destination would afford him.
The fleeing figure reached a long staircase and began climbing it quickly, almost running. On either side, there was a dense growth of trees and bushes obscuring the land, only revealing a steep incline. Hidden within the trees were a couple of shrines and more than a few caves. Here, there would be a place to hide from the pursuer. Or, that was the hope in the mind of the running one. Moving suddenly, the figure darted off to the side, ducking through the dense bushes that lined the staircase, hoping to be too quick for the hunter to see.
The hunter smirked at this attempted dodge. It would take more to throw him off the trail of his chosen victim. Calmly descending from the roof tops, he began walking slowly up the stairs, knowing that his prey was watching him warily. He had to fight the satisfied smirk that wanted to grace his lips. He could almost smell the anxiety and anticipation coming from his prey. It was exhilarating to have so much control over another being. He could feel the power coursing through his veins, intoxicating in its potency.
The hunter's steps slowed as he reached the point where his quarry had darted from the stairs and was still hiding, concealed in the bushes. The hunter wanted to laugh, he wanted to call out his prey, but that was not how the game was played. He was the hunter, and he would play his part to the end. With a quick movement, he reached his prey, pinning the other to the ground. With a throaty chuckle, he licked his prey's ear, “I caught you, Kurama.”
“I didn't exactly make it difficult, did I, Hiei?” the red head under him replied.
This brought another chuckle and a kiss on the neck hidden beneath the red locks, “No, you didn't, did you? Hiding in the bushes here. You must not want to play today.”
This elicited a groan from the taller boy, “You stop and I'll bite you.”
“Promises, promises,” Hiei countered as the first drops of rain began spattering the stairs. Hiei looked out from their hiding place. “You want to play here, do you?”
Kurama lifted his face from the ground, looking at the beginnings of what promised to be a very wet night. Sighing, he shook his head, “I think we'd be more comfortable somewhere with a roof, at least”
“Then why didn't you go somewhere with a roof?”
“I wanted to get caught.”
This confession brought a chuckle to the smaller demon. “You cheated, then.”
The red head had the grace to blush at this accusation. He bit his lip, hoping that Hiei would not continue.
“You know what this means, don't you?”
The red head's blush deepened as he placed his forehead on the ground. A small whimper escaped his throat as he felt the weight of his hunter leave him.
“It means we can't keep playing. For shame on you.” The voice sounded deeply disappointed at this declaration. Kurama kept his face on the ground, waiting for the other to leave. After a short while, he did not hear the other leave and looked over to see Hiei looking at the ground dejectedly. “I really wanted to play.”
Kurama looked at Hiei in surprise. He thought the other demon only played the game to make him happy. It didn't occur that the fire demon also wanted to play the games. Of course, Hiei enjoyed the games, but Kurama didn't know that he desired the games. His guilt at ending the hunt early increased. Getting up off the ground, he continued to look at Hiei as if seeing his friend for the first time. Tentatively, he reached out a hand to touch the koorime's cheek, uncertain for the first time in their relationship. Hiei's eyes came up to meet his, uncertainty mirrored in his eyes. Slowly, the two closed the distance between them, their lips meeting softly. For a time, an eternity, they stood together, gently pressing their lips together as the rain continued to fall.
A sudden flash of lightning and the deep rumble of thunder finally pulled them apart. They looked at each other as if unable to believe what had occurred. They had kissed before, in the course of their games. There was nothing they hadn't done to each other in their games, but this was different. This was not just a pursuit of carnal pleasure. This was more, deeper. They weren't sure where this path would lead them. They only knew that they had no choice now about following it.
Hiei brought his hand up to touch the cheek of the kitsune before him. The rain had caused rivulets to run down the taller demon's face, dragging his hair down with the water. Gently, Hiei brushed the errant hair and water away from the face before his. He hadn't meant to let the fox know how he felt, but it was out now between them. Part of him was frightened because he was now vulnerable. He felt he was standing on the edge of the world, knowing that if he stepped off, he would fall forever. He didn't know exactly when the games turned into something more. He didn't remember when he began to want to play, not just to get off, but for the connection, even if just physical, to the red headed demon. Feeling a slight shiver pass through Kurama, Hiei spoke softly, “Why don't we go find a place with a roof at least?” Tracing his fingers down the kitsune's neck and arm, he gently took his hand, leading him to the nearest cave.

Feeling a slight shiver pass through Kurama, Hiei spoke softly, “Why don't we go find a place with a roof at least?” Tracing his fingers down the kitsune's neck and arm, he gently took his hand, leading him to the nearest cave.
Hiei placed Kurama in the middle of the cave. It was just tall enough for the red head to stand in and roomy enough that the two would not need to worry about movement. Just in front of the entrance was a bush that obscured and protected the cave somewhat from the continued onslaught of rain and wind. The two looked at each other, a mixture of emotions in their eyes. Uncertainty remained; uncertainty of what exactly faced them when they crossed this bridge. Desire and need were apparent, not only in their eyes, but in their bodies as well. They were both breathing through open mouths, almost panting as they continued to regard one another. Kurama reached up to touch Hiei's face, to bring him closer, but the koorime caught his hand. “Let me, please.” His voice was husky with emotion, his eyes pleading. The kitsune nodded and let his hand fall back to his side, wondering just what Hiei had in mind.
Hiei took his lower lip between his teeth as he continued to look at the fox demon before him. He only knew he needed to be in control of the situation because he was not in control of his emotions. Slowly, he brought his hands to the collar of the school uniform Kurama was wearing. Slowly, carefully, he began the process of unfastening the jacket.
Kurama watched intently as Hiei focused on the task his hands were doing. He wanted to take the lip that Hiei had trapped and trap it with his own teeth. He wanted to touch the fire demon, to feel that fire build up in the body before him. But Hiei had asked for control. It was his game…'No, this is no longer a game,” the kitsune corrected himself. He watched as Hiei finished with the fastenings of his jacket and stepped around behind him. With agonizing care, Hiei slowly slid the jacket off Kurama's shoulders, letting his fingers trail along the taller boy's arms. The light touch drew a gasp and a shudder from the red head. He wanted, needed more of that touch. He watched as Hiei's attention returned to his face, a small smile becoming evident when his red eyes took in the hunger in the green eyes before him.
Hiei had seen lust and the desire for carnal pleasure in those innocent-looking green eyes before, but this was the first time he'd seen hunger and yearning in them. He began to feel more confident that this was something they both wanted. Carefully, he folded the jacket in his hands, placing it on a rock near by. Gently placing his fingers on the bicep of the red head, he traced his fingers around and down the arm as he returned to stand before Kurama. His eyes never left those hunger-filled ones as he moved. As he again stood in front of the red head, he allowed his arms to circle the waist of the taller demon. His fingers worked to find the hem of the tee shirt that the jacket had covered as his eyes remained locked in the green prisons before him. Slowly, as if of its own accord, Hiei's right hand slid up Kurama's back to his neck, bringing his face lower to meet Hiei's. Their eyes remained locked at their lips met. Hiei felt Kurama's groan as the fingers of his left had found the hem of his shirt and slid under it, finally reaching the bare skin of the other's lower back. He watched as the green eyes closed in pleasure and felt the arms of the one he held wrap around him.
Kurama was rapidly loosing the ability to think rationally. The heat coming off the body before him fueled his own need for more of that warmth, more of the fire. He wanted to be engulfed, consumed fully by the inferno. More than anything he'd gone after before, he wanted Hiei, wanted him fully. He pulled the smaller demon's body as close to his as he could, wanting more contact. Clothes were in the way, his mind finally grasped. He pulled away from their shared kiss reluctantly, only managing to gasp “please…” before he needed to reconnect his mouth to that of fire. He needed the fire to take him. Never before had he needed something so badly.
Hearing the kitsune's desperate plea, Hiei could fee his own need grow. He needed to possess, to be possessed by this one before him. Bringing his left had up, dragging the shirt from the prison of Kurama's waist band, Hiei let go of the red head's mouth only long enough to discard the unwanted material. He felt Kurama's hands pulling his own cloak up, gathering it up, attempting to reach the bare flesh underneath. His own hands fumbled with the fastenings of Kurama's pants. Never before had they been such a hindrance to what he wanted, but now his finger felt clumsy and slow. It was taking too long! He needed to feel Kurama's body against his own. At last, he felt the kitsune's hands under his cloak. Breaking the kiss long enough to help with the removal and disposal of his own top, Hiei latched onto Kurama's neck. His tongue lashed against the pulsing vein his lips found there. He could feel it beat rapidly, almost erratically, as his hands continued to work at removing Kurama's pants.
Kurama was lost in the sensations of Hiei's lips on his neck and the feel of bare skin pressed up against his chest. All he knew was he needed more. His hands roamed the back of his lover, wandering to Hiei's hair, down to his lower back. As his fingers touched the waistband of Hiei's lower garment, Kurama moaned in disappointment and need. There shouldn't be fabric there, his befuddled mind protested. Drawing his hands forward, he began to work at the tie on the pants. Hiei had not worn belts, his mind rejoiced as the offending garment slid down over Hiei's hips, falling around his ankles. He was vaguely aware of his own pants puddling around his own feet. His hands wandered around to touch the previously covered backside, pulling it closer to him. This was what he wanted, what he needed, to feel the bare length of Hiei's body against his own. But still, it wasn't enough.
Fisting his hand in the red locks, Hiei began to pull Kurama down. There was nothing but need in his mind, a need that refused to be ignored much longer. Gracefully, Kurama knelt, managing to maintain as much contact between their bodies as possible. Hiei pushed the taller demon back, bringing his mouth again to cover and claim the other's. Hiei arched his back, pulling his chest away from Kurama's and arching his hips to rub against the other's erection. This action pulled a groan from both demons and Kurama's hips rocked to meet Hiei's. Hiei let his eyes wander over the body below him. A sheen of sweat covered the reddened skin, making the fox almost seem to glow in the darkness of the cave. His eyes wandered lower, to their grinding hips, and his tongue flicked out between his lips. He wanted to taste, to suck, to devour Kurama's weeping member. Dropping his mouth to the writhing fox's neck, he slowly began to move his body down so that he could reach his prize with his mouth. He heard the fox whimper as his mouth reached one nipple. Whispering “shhh” as he moved across to the other, he looked up to see Kurama looking at him. Licking the nipple near his mouth, he again whispered “shhh” and felt the red head beneath him shudder as his breath danced over the wet skin of his nipple. Hiei resumed his journey down Kurama's body.
Kurama was lost to the sensations Hiei's mouth ignited in his body. Every touch, every breath, added to the raging fire that had become the kitsune's body. He wanted more, he needed it. He felt Hiei's breath on his manhood and arched up toward it, needing more than breath, needing so much more. He felt Hiei's hands hold him down. When had his hands left his hair? Even that thought left Kurama's mind as burning wetness surrounded his erection. He gasped and tried to push up into that heat, but he was held down. He whimpered in frustration, only to have it change to groans of pleasure as Hiei began moving up and down his shaft, flicking his tongue in an intricate dance as he did. He fisted his hands in Hiei's hair.
So good, his fox tasted so good, but still it wasn't enough for Hiei. He still needed more. He pulled his mouth off Kurama's shaft, causing the red head to gasp in shock and need. Again, he whispered “shhh,” blowing against the wetness before him. Kurama shivered and tried to maneuver his aching member back into the warm mouth. Hiei, however, had other plans. Moving so he straddled the fox, still pinning the fox's hips with his hands, Hiei looked at the fox and waited to move again until the fox let go of his hair and trailed his hands to hold onto Hiei's hips. Hiei could see Kurama was drunk on the sensations of their play, of their love. Hiei smiled gently as he reached down to guide Kurama's member into himself. Slowly, closing his eyes to fully enjoy the sensation, Hiei lowered himself along Kurama's length.
Kurama watched as Hiei gave himself fully to the pleasure, arching his back and panting as their hips met. Kurama's mind was filled with flames as Hiei's body engulfed his shaft. The friction of Hiei leaning forward to capture his lips only added to the fire. Every touch burned him, consumed him. His hands pulled on the koorime to bring him closer, to be consumed by him. Hiei pulled back from their kiss to whisper “mine” before reclaiming the kitsune's lips. Kurama's hands again pulled on Hiei's hair, trying to deepen the kiss they shared as their bodies rocked in time to their building desire. Kurama pulled back only enough to gasp “yours” before crushing the koorime to himself.
With Kurama's surrender to him, his passion for him, Hiei felt his body reaching his climax. He could feel the waves of sensation building in his groin, centered around the motions of Kurama's member sliding in and out of his ass. Need for release consumed his mind as his body instinctively continued rocking against the pleasuable intrusion. Need consumed his body, his mind, his very being as his essence began to spill from his own erection. Waves of pleasure threatened to overwhelm him as he felt Kurama's shaft pulse against his walls, convulsing in pleasure. He could feel Kurama moan against his mouth as their bodies arched together in their mutual orgasm.
How long they laid there, neither one could have guessed. They drifted on the after effects of their passion, slowly savoring kisses and caresses as their bodies calmed. Hiei sleepily wrapped one of Kurama's locks in his fingers, looking into the kitsune's eyes, “Really mine?” he asked, uncertain if the other's declaration had been only made in the throughs of passion or if he truly meant it.
Kurama brushed a finger against the little koorime's cheek, looking deeply into the red eyes. “Really yours,” he answered without hesitancy, bringing a smile to the other's lips as those eyes closed in sleep. With a sigh of contentment, Kurama allowed himself to drift to sleep as well.
