Yusuke ran over to his group of friends, nearly out of breath. They all looked up, Kuwabara the most curious of the bunch. Hiei had just simply rolled his eyes and stared at his hand of cards as Kurama snickered at his unsatisfied look. Yusuke stopped as he plopped down in a chair beside Kuwabara. Blinking, Kuwabara glanced at Yusuke about to speak. "Something's wrong with Botan…" He spoke up. Kurama and Hiei looked over. "What would be wrong with the grim reaper?" Hiei asked. Yusuke wiped the sweat off his forehead and shrugged. "Why don't you just talk to her Yusuke?" Kurama suggested. "I did already; I think I made it worse…" Yusuke grinned stupidly. Hiei rolled his eyes and threw three cards down. "Well, how about I try talking to her then?" Kuwabara asked. They all nodded slowly as Kuwabara threw his hand in the air, claiming victory in finding out what is bothering Botan. Yusuke sweatdropped as he smacked Kuwabara upside his head. He glared and ran off in search of Botan.

Botan sighed as she sat at the edge of the ground, her feet soaking in the lake. She stared at her rippling reflection, her thoughts deepening every passing moment. Her heart beat slowly as her eyes focused at the surface of the lake. It was a nice sunny day although Botan was on the depressed side. Not even a beautiful day such as now could make her smile the slightest. She was grateful that Yusuke tried to cheer her up, but it just did not work. She tossed a rock into the lake, causing ripples as it hit the water. Her eyes closed momentarily before she looked up at the sky, watching the clouds roll by. For some apparent reason, something was missing in her life. She could not quite put her finger on it but she knew something was not there. She tilted her head slightly as she saw two birds flying together. They passed over her head and landed at the nearest tree. She sighed once more and looked back at the water, her thoughts racing once more. She kicked the water gently, making it splash upward and causing more gentle ripples.

Kuwabara ran back to the gang with the stupidest look on his face, laughing nervously. "Where's Botan, Urameshi?" Hiei grumbled under his breath as Kurama chuckled softly. Yusuke rolled his eyes. "She's at the lake in the park, you idiot." Kuwabara nodded and ran off once more, heading for the park. He ran as fast as his feet could take him. He skidded to the park and stopped, seeing Botan. He walked over and sat beside her, looking into the lake. It was silent for a few minutes before Kuwabara spoke up. "Botan…." Botan glanced at him. "It's nothing Kuwabara... I'm not feeling well, that's all." Kuwabara shook his head gently, disapproving of her excuse. "I know something is wrong Botan. Why won't you tell me?" Botan kept silent before Kuwabara sighed slightly. He stood up and patted her back gently. "Sorry…" Botan said. "It's ok, I understand." He left and headed back. As he arrived they looked up. He shook his head gently. "He failed…" Hiei spoke. "ZIP IT, SHRIMP!"

Yusuke sighed and tried thinking up another way to get Botan to speak. Nothing came to mind, but then again, thinking wasn't really Yusuke's strongest suit. Kurama glanced at Yusuke then placed the cards down. "I'll try talking to her; maybe she might open up more to me." "Hopefully..." Yusuke answered. Kurama stood up as Kuwabara took his place. Kurama walked off to the park, only to find that Botan had left. "Hm…" He continued walking, searching for Botan. He sighed gently after searching for ten minutes. He started heading back when he noticed Botan by the apartment building he lives in. He crossed the street and stopped behind Botan. She turned to look at him, instantly knowing why he was there. "Care to tell me what's been bothering you?" Botan looked down at the ground and nodded slightly. "Alright, we'll talk inside then." Kurama said as he walked in. She followed at a much slower pace until they reached his door. He opened it and let Botan walk in first.

Botan sat on the couch and stared at her lap. Kurama sat beside her and glanced at her. "Go on..." "Well… I've been feeling unlike myself lately and well, I have this sorta emptiness inside of me." "I see and do you know what may have caused this?" "No. I have no clue really. I tried figuring out but it's proving to be a difficult task." "Why don't you do something that'll take your mind off of it?" "I tried; I just can't really focus on anything else." Kurama was silent for a moment as he stared at the wall. Botan kept her eyes on her hope, not wanting to make eye contact with him. She felt this tingle in her stomach and was thinking things that she has never thought before. She shook her head gently, washing the thoughts away, or, at least tried to. Kurama glanced at her, a bit worried. Botan glanced at him then looked away, focusing on the floor. Kurama tilted his head. She bit her bottom lip, a sudden urge washing over her body, nearly numbing it. Kurama sensed something was bothering Botan.

Kuwabara placed a card down gently. "I choose spades..." Hiei grunted and placed two cards down. "One card…" Kuwabara cursed as he placed a five of hearts down over his five of spades. Hiei snickered as he placed an eight down. "I win…" "DAMMIT, NOOOOOO!" Yusuke cracked up laughing as he fell off the bench. Hiei rolled his eyes and murmured a simple `Moron' under his breath. Yusuke suddenly popped up. "How long has it been since Kurama left?" Hiei looked at him. "Fifteen minutes to say the least." Kuwabara slammed his fist into his open hand. "Maybe he's getting through to Botan! You think?" Yusuke nodded slightly but started wondering how long it takes to find out. Hiei noticed what Yusuke was getting at. "We'll check on him in ten minutes if he isn't back by then." They both nodded. Kuwabara pulled out two handheld video game consoles and hooked them together, handing one to Hiei. "We'll play my kind of game shrimp, you'll lose SO bad." Hiei grunted as they began to play.

Two minutes had passed between game play before Yusuke started laughing again. "NO! MY DARK MAGICIAN!" Kuwabara sobbed. (*snickers*) Hiei laughed as he wiped out the rest of his life points. "This game is simple; I thought you were a master? Idiot…" Kuwabara growled at him as they both began a second duel. After another two minutes, Yusuke started laughing again and fell off the bench. Kuwabara slammed his fist on the picnic table and growled angrily. Yusuke pulled himself up, still laughing. Hiei shook his head sadly as Kuwabara placed a different game in. "THIS time you'll lose!" Hiei simply smirked as they played this new game. Three minutes had passed this time before Yusuke slapped his forehead. "NO, PIKACHU!" Kuwabara sobbed again. (*cracks up laughing*) Hiei laughed again as he placed the contraption down, tiring of beating Kuwabara at least twenty times in a row.

Yusuke glanced at his watch then looked at Hiei. "We'll go check on him…" They all stood up and walked to the lake. As they reached it, they noticed they weren't there. Kuwabara blinked as he looked at them worriedly. Hiei nodded as he walked off in one direction while the other two split up. Hiei continued to walk down the streets, glancing around for his kitsune friend. Kuwabara ran through the valleys and stores while Yusuke just searched, bumping into a few gangs along the way. Kuwabara as well, was stopped by a couple of gangs. Of course it was simple beating up these chumps. Yusuke cracked his knuckles after a few beatings and continued searching. They all met up in the same place they parted, neither of them finding any clues at to where they are.

Kurama placed his hand on the back of her head and massaged it gently. Botan moaned slightly as Kurama leaned in and kissed her lips gently. Botan was caught off guard from that but soon settled in as she returned his kiss. Kurama's free hand was slowly removing what clothing Botan had on. He then started kissing her neck gently as Botan moaned once more, trying to remove his clothes as well. Soon after each piece of cloth had been lazily dropped onto the ground, Kurama laid her down onto the couch. His lips traveled down her neck to her chest. He kissed her breast and let his tongue wet her now harden nipple. He sucked on it gently and did the same to the other. Botan let out short breaths and light moans as she rubbed his back gently. Kurama moved down to her stomach, kissing it. After he fooled around with her belly button and went down to her waiting self, burying his face into it.

Botan placed her hands on his head, entangling her forefinger within his hair. Kurama began to kiss and soon enough his slipped his tongue within her, swirling it about slowly. Botan moaned as she massaged the back of his head. Kurama increased the speed, causing Botan to moan a bit louder than her recent ones. He continued this course of action until her liquids spilled into his mouth. After swallowing he climbed up to her and kissed her lips, gently thrusting into her as he did so. She squeaked in pain but easily ignored it as Kurama continued to thrust into her. After a few minutes, he increased his speed and started thrusting harder into her. Botan moaned quite loudly and it increased in volume after each thrust, she gripped the edge of the couch as he continued on. Sweat trickled down Kurama's forehead and landed on Botan's chest. He thrusted harder into her and soon Botan was yelling out his name, but not loud enough to bother the neighbors. This continued until Kurama eventually spilled into her. He collapsed onto her sweaty body, panting very lightly. Botan rubbed the back of his head, running her fingers through his silk mane.

Kurama snuggled slightly into her and she continued to caress the back of his head. She finally decided to speak. "I think I found out what was missing..." Kurama looked up at her. "And what might that be?" He asked inquisitively. She smiled as she kissed his nose. "Love…" Kurama smiled as he laid his back down. After a few moments, Kurama suddenly blinked. "Say, I totally forgot about Yusuke and the others…" Botan blinked, remembering them as well. "Yeah…" Kurama looked up. "What if they're looking for us?" Botan blinked twice then shrugged. "Oh well…" Kurama chuckled as he laid his had back down again and fell fast asleep. Botan immediately did the same. Off deep within the city, a loud scream pierced sharply. "WHERE THE HELL ARE THEEEEEEEEY!?!?"
