Chapter 6

We're here

The blimp was going along peacfully until it crashed into something. All of the people in Team Disaster's room were thrown to the floor.

"What was that?" asked Alex.

"Either the blimp has been invaded by countless demons who plan to enslave us," said Touya. "Or we're here."

"I'll go check," said Kaze. "Anyone wanna' come?"

"I'll go," said Tsuki.

"Why don' we al' go?" asked Jin.

"I'm in," said Chaya.

"Don't forget me," said Keera.

All of them left the room and headed out onto the deck. A girl with purple hair and bunny ears was standing at the front of the boat. She had a microphone and was saying something.

"Welcome everyone, to the Tournament of Awakenings! I'll be your announcer until the semi-finals. I'm Haru!" She said. "We will be ariving shortly. Please be patient while we land."

The blimp landed in the middle of an open field. All of the combatants got off the ship and followed Haru to the stadium. They all stopped in one big room.

"Okay, Today we'll be introducing the teams," said Haru as she pointed up to a moniter. "When your team name appears on that screen please walk out to the arena. I will be heading out there to introduce the first team now. Will Team Urameshi please follow me."

A group of five boys walked out of the big group and followed Haru. All of the other teams sat down and watched the moniter waiting until they were called.

"Welcome to the first ever Tournament of Awakening! I'm your wonderful announcer, Haru!" said Haru. "It seems like all the seats are filled so let's introduce our first team. Give it up for Team Urameshi! Made up of Yusuke Urameshi, Winner of the Dark Tournament. Kurama, Hiei Jaganshi, Kuroune Lawrance, and Kazuma Kuwabaka!"

"It's Kuwabara!!!!" he yelled.

"Whatever!" said Haru. "Now to introduce our next team. Give it up for Team Resolution!"

A group of teenagers and a pixi came out.

"Their captian Harumi Irokida! The person you can't help but love, Trini! One of our favorite Neko Demons, Katsumi! Our favorite water fox, Ni Xue! And fire dragon girl, Cass Fearsia!" yelled Haru into the Microphone.

Each girl stepped forward as their name was called. Then walked back into the crowded room as the next team left the room.

"Give it up for team Icado!" yelled Haru as she threw one of her hands towards the exit.

Team Icado walked out. They stopped next to Haru. Waiting for her to introduce them.

"Everybody give it up for Team Icado!" said Haru once more. "Their captian, our very own Wind Master, Jin! Mr. Cold as Ice, our very own Ice Master, Touya! One of the few light kitsunes left, Megumi Li! Our lovable shadow demon, D.A.! And finally the last member of their team, Kage Katana!"

Each of them walked up, waved at the crowd, and waited for the others. Then they went back to the room and the next team walked out.

"Please give a warm welcome to Team Yudina!" said Haru.

Team Yudina walked out to the ring and stood next to Haru.

"Team Yudina!" yelled Haru. "With thier captian, I'm gonna' kick your head in if you don't leave me alone, Alex Urameshi! The fighter from a different planet, Ayari! The ditz who has won the hearts of millions, Dozen! The hot-shot flirt, Hyat'e! And our favorite air head, Megumi!"

Each of them just stood there exept for Dozen who was looking around and had no idea what was going on. Then they all went through the exit and back to the room as the next team came out.

"Please Welcome Team Wipit!" said Haru. "Their captian, another fighter who uses the wind, Kathjina! Another one of our lovable Nekos, Mimiko! Another of our famous kitsunes, Mihena!The down to earth fighter, Hiiro Akina! And the kid with some cool yo-yo tricks, Rinaka!"

They each did their own poses and actions. Rinaka was doing yo-yo tricks. Minako was swishing her tail back and forth. Mihena was just standing there. Kathjina was looking around. And Hiiro was staring at the ground. They all went back into the room as yet another team walked out.

"Please Welcome Team Tocan!" Haru shouted into the microphone. "With their captian, X'sani. Their mysterious human fighter, Chidori! Another warior of ice, Tonia! Our very own fire kitsune, Kumori! And we can't forget Korihi, the little kid who packs a punch!"

All exept for Kumori and Korihi just walked up and waved. Both of the fire wariors shot up bursts of flames.

"Now let's bring out our next team," said Haru. "Please welcome Team Dilusion!"

They all walked out of the room and stood somewhat near Haru.

"Their Captian, Chaya Kaze! Our favorite psychic fire demon, Sieko Nishiki. Let's hear it for Taylor Kaze! Water Girl, Tomoe! And last, but not least, Let's hear it for another of our water warriors, Taki!" said Haru. "Now just for one final team. Let's hear it for Team Disaster!"

The five girls walked out and stood next to Haru. Each waiting for their name to be called.

"Okay, After this each team will find out where they will be staying," said Haru. "Okay. Their captian, Kaze! Our mystery fighter, Tsuki. Their stratagist, Alex! Let's hear it for Keera Jade! And if you don't wanna' die don't talk about her height, it's Neh Himora!"

Each girl took their turn at stepping up and showing of one of their attacks.

"Okay. Everyone should go to their rooms and rest up," said Haru. "The fights will stop tomorrow."
