"Uhhhhh… what happened?" I stated sitting on the roof of my school.

My name is Aiko. I'm 14 years old and well not the best when it comes to school. Would you believe me if I said I was a total delinquent and yet I have an A average in all my classes? Well it's true. I'm also an inventor, or at least I try and invent things that will help me. I have a lot of inventions all of them helping me in there own way. I have long black hair that reaches my knees and yet I'm only short. My eyes are gray and well I'm not the best person to be friends with and yet only one person is really my friend.

His name is Shuichi and he is in all my classes but I never there. He is taller then me by several inches and has long red hair with green eyes. He is nice, open, and some how befriended me. It's hard to explain but he says he has a friend just like me and well some how he just came friends with me. He's the only person I am opened with. People think we go out but I knew it wasn't possible. We are two opposites and nothing will change that. Anyways there's not much else to say.

Family? Forget it I don't have one. When I was younger my parents were murdered in front of me by some bandits and well some people tried to offer me into their home but I declined every offer. I lived alone in a house I bought after getting a job. My boss is paying for it and I guess he thinks of me as his daughter. I never act like it though. The only thing I do is my job and better then everyone else there. Sometimes I have free time though. During that time I train to fight. Ever since my parents died I've trained at any time possible. I wanted to kill the bandits when I find them and I made sure of that.

I'm also part wolf demon. My mother was human and my father was full demon. When the moon is full I transform into my demon side but for now I stay hidden with my human side. Having feelings were not to big with me. If too much of my emotions were to come out especially anger I would transform into my demon side and let loose not having any control. Not only am I part demon but I also have telepathic powers. In other words I can reads people's minds, send them messages in there minds, and fly. It's hard to explain but yeah that's as easy as it can get.

Anyways it was about late afternoon and the bell sounded for lunch. I just a woken from sleeping on the roof and people were starting to go out of the school for lunch. The wind rustled my blue cloak that I wore along with a pair of blue pants and a blue top. Slowly I walked towards the edge of the school roof and looked at everyone coming out. I stared at them in disgust.

"Pathetic humans," I stated as some of them passed by below.

I sensed someone behind me. Quickly I spun around and was about to attack when some one me. It was Shuichi. He was the only one able to stop me.

"I see you're more edgy then usually. Same dream?" he asked smiling letting go of me.

I've been having the same dream for as long as I could remember. It was when my parents died. I relive that day every time I fell asleep and every time it happened I was angry and every edgy. This day haunted me and until I can kill the bandits that killed my parents I will never be at peace.

"Hn, you better watch it fox or next time I won't go easy," I said sitting down.

Shuichi was also a demon. He was a fox demon by the name of Kurama but here I have to call him Shuichi. He use to live in the demon world but after getting shot by a hunter in the human world he impregnated a women and well here he is now. The first day I met him I smelt his demon side and talked to him about. I guess that's how we first met.

"Hungry?" he asked while pulling out a separate lunch for me and handing it to me.

"Hn," I took it from him and started eating.

"I have an idea for you that might make you slightly happy," he stated while eating.

"And what's that?" I asked while chewing the food that was in my mouth and swallowing it.

"You can meet some of my other friends I met after we are done eating," he said and was soon done eating.

I was done eating to and handed him the empty tray of food.

"What about classes. You'll miss them," I said smiling.

He stood up and so did I.

"Missing them for a day won't hurt," he smiled.

"Hn, have you finally given up the goody-goody act?" I asked.

"You'll have to come and see," he said and walked towards to roof door.

I followed.

"I wonder if I'll get to meet this guy that's like me," I thought grabbing my bag next to the roof door and then slightly ran after him.

"We're here," he said as we entered an apartment.

"Whose place is this?" I asked looking at the interior.

It wasn't clean. Alcohol bottles laid everywhere and nothing was clean. I sniffed the air.

"I smell a human and at least half a human and a demon," I stated looking around for any signs of movement.

"It must be my friends Yusuke and Kuwabara. Kuwabara is human and Yusuke is half human. The other one is Hiei," Kurama said walking into the house.

I felt my spine shiver. That name sounded familiar but I didn't know how.

I followed him into a room with three men. One was as tall as Kurama maybe shorter. His hair was jet black and jelled back and he had brown eyes. He wore regular jeans with a white t-shirt and sneakers.

Another one was very ugly but still Kurama's height. His hair was orange-ish and had black eyes. He wore jeans also and wore a white shirt under a blue jacket.

The final person there was also taller then me but not by much. He had spiky black hair with some parts in the front white and red eyes. His dress style was all black but a piece of white cloth sticking out slightly at the top. He wore a black cloak only it didn't have a hood like mine with black pants and black boots.

The guy that was taller than me with black hair walked up to me.

"Well what's your name?" he said in my face smiling.

I stared at him and without any emotion answered.

"Hn, what's it to you human?" I stated walking over to an empty wall and leaning against it with my arms crossed.

I placed my bag down next to me and stared at him. He started laughing.

"Well it looks like you have some one you can relate with, Hiei," he stated looking over at the person in black.

The person in black just completely ignored him and continued staring out the window. I sniffed the air.

"So you're the demon," I stated giving the one called Hiei a sideways glance and stood up straight.

He also gave me a sideways glance.

"And how do you know this human?" he asked coldly.

"Well then I guess only wolf demons can smell other demons," I stated leaning back on the wall and closing me eyes.

"Wait you're a wolf demon?" asked the ugly human walking in front of me.

I held my nose.

"Yeah and you're a smelly human," I stated looking away from him.

"What?!" he shouted angrily.

"You're wearing a horrible colon that's way to strong," I stated still holding my nose.

The other boy laughed while Kurama chuckled slightly.

"Well Kuwabara looks like it's back to square one," he said laughing.

"Shut up Urameshi!" the one called Kuwabara shouted.

I looked over at the one called Urameshi.

"Your name is Urameshi?" I questioned raising an eyebrow.

He walked over to me.

"Nope, my name is Yusuke."

He put his hand so it looked like a gun.

"And I'm a spirit detective."

I glared at him.

"You work for Koenma?" I asked angrily.

He slightly back off when he saw my facial expression.

"Yeah, why?" he asked.

I gritted my teeth and stared at the floor.

"That jerk has no respect for others," I stated glaring at the floor.

Kurama whispered something in Yusuke's ear, but I read his mind about what he was telling him.

"Why not tell everyone about what he did to a little girl who lost her parents?" I stated slightly up set.

He paused and Yusuke looked up.

"How do you know we were talking about that?" Yusuke asked.

"I can read minds you moron. Now if you don't mind I would like to know the reason of me being here," I stated glaring a Yusuke.

"Oh right."
