Yu Yu Hakusho Fan Fiction ❯ The Past and the Heart ❯ Love ( Chapter 6 )
Hiei paused for a while. I then felt him flip me around so that I was facing him but still on his lap. He cupped my chin and slowly moved closer.
"What's going on?" I thought as I also moved closer, "Is this love?"
We closed our eyes and kissed. A wave of pleasure crashed over me as we continued. My hand moved up to his face and gently brushed against it. Hiei parted and then kissed my neck. I moved my head off towards the side so there would be more access to skin. It felt new and wanting. He moved back to my lips and kissed back passionately. At this point I wanted time to stop so we could stay like this forever.
Hiei pushed harder and slipped his tongue inside my mouth. My heartbeat increased as I did the same. He then pushed me slowly to the ground. We continued kissing. His fingers ran threw my hair as I touched his face. It was odd that his skin was warm though, I always thought it would be cold. We parted for a moment and stared at each other. There was an awkward silence.
Hiei got off of me and I sat up next to him.
"What's wrong?" I asked concerned.
"It's nothing," he said looking away from me.
I lightly pushed his face so he could look in my eyes.
"Hiei you can tell me," I said softly cupping his face.
He grabbed my hand and looked away. I wanted to know what was wrong. Suffering alone was worst then just suffering. I wrapped my arms around him and gave him a warm embrace. Hiei pressed his hand against my cheek and sighed.
"Aiko there's something about me you should know," he stated.
I knew what it was. Before everything had happened I did a reading with Tarot cards. It told me I would meet my love if I befriended an animal but my love would have an extra part of him. The cards said he put it there to watch his family but from afar. For a while I snuck into spirit world's library and looked for everything that could be put on the body and see distant things. It was a couple of days ago that I found out it was a Jagen eye. The more I found out about it the more I thought of getting one. It had psychic abilities and had the power to watch over people at great distances.
"It's the Jagan isn't it?" I asked him.
Hiei's eyes widen. He turned and looked at me.
"How did you know?" he asked amazed.
"A while ago I did a reading with Tarot cards just for the fun of it. They told me I would meet you if I became friends with Kurama and that you had a Jagen. I found out a lot about the Jagan and knew you are looking after a distant family member you really care about. Tell me, who?" I asked him.
Hiei looked away.
"It's my half sister. Her name is Yukina and unlike me she is a full Ice maiden like our mother. She lives in the ice maiden world and I was forbidden from it. When I was born they kicked me out of there world and put me here. That's when I met up with the bandits and… well, you know what happened next," he stated looking away from me.
"So you put it in to look after you sister," I stated.
He nodded.
"But you can't tell her. For all I know she thinks I'm dead," he stated to me.
I smiled and nodded.
"So you're like her guardian angel," I said glancing over at him.
He smirked.
"Only I'm not an angel."
I smiled at him and then rested my head against his shoulder. Hiei rested his head next to mine and closed his eyes. There we feel asleep in each others arms.
The sun rose and leaked into the cave entrance. I slowly opened my eyes and stirred Hiei also stirred and looked down at me. He smiled and kissed me lightly on the cheek.
"G'morning," he stated softly as I looked up at him.
I smiled.
"G'morning," I replied and kissed him on the cheek as well.
We both got up and walked towards the cave entrance. The rain drops that were still there resting on the plants shimmered and glistened in the rays of the morning sun. I stretched out a bit and then felt Hiei come up from behind me and place his hands on my waist. He kissed my neck gently and giggled. I felt his lips curl up on my neck so he could smile and continued. I then spun around and kissed him on the lips passionately. We then stopped and looked at each other smiling.
"We better look for the others," Hiei stated still smiling.
I nodded. Hiei then scooped me up in his arms and the rest became a blur.
We soon arrived at a base in the center of Makai. It was heavily guarded and there were no signs of us getting in undetected. I looked at Hiei who stopped on a tree branch.
"Hiei why are we here?" I asked as he placed me on the tree branch next to him.
I held on to his cloak so I would not fall.
"This is where Yusuke and the others are," Hiei stated.
"Are you sure?"
His Jagan glowed under his bandana.
"Positive."
We climbed down from the tree and walked up to the guards at the front of the entrance gate.
"Don't you think we should sneak in?" I asked oddly.
Hiei shook his head.
"No. Besides I work here," he stated as we approached them.
They stood up straight and opened the door.
"Hiei, Muruko is waiting for you in the main entrance hall. Your friends are there as well," stated one of the guards.
Hiei nodded and walked through the main entrance gate. I followed but was stopped by the guard.
"You don't belong here human," he stated.
My eyes narrowed after he had called me a human because I was also a demon. I was prepared to punch him across the face but Hiei stopped me.
"She is with me," Hiei stated.
The guards then lowered his arm and allowed me to pass.
"Hey!" Yusuke shouted as we entered the room.
Kurama and Kuwabara looked up and they all rushed over to us. We stood there as they rushed over to greet us.
"So where were you guys?" Kuwabara asked.
"Hn, that's none of your concern," Hiei said and walked away from the others.
He entered a door leading to separate room. I wanted to follow but didn't thinking he needed to be alone.
"So what did you guys do when the rain started?" Yusuke asked.
"We found some shelter. What did you guys do?" I asked.
Kurama looked at me.
"Were you worried about us?" he asked.
I shook my head.
"No just wondering," I replied.
"Well we actually were caught in the rain and then came across this place, saw Muruko around here and she invited us in," Yusuke stated.
"'She'?" I mimicked
"Yeah Muruko is a girl who fought in the Dark Tournament against us. Well not a girl like 6 or 7 but like I would say about 14 or 15. At least she appears to be that age," Yusuke stated.
I lowered my head slightly. Kurama placed his hand on my shoulder.
"Aiko, are you all right?" he asked.
I looked at him smiling and nodded.
"Yeah I'm fine," I replied.
I lied. I wasn't fine, how could I be? I didn't know who she was or what kind of relationship she had with Hiei. I felt as if he had used me just because of the map or something. I started to walk away from them.
"Hey wait where are you going?" Yusuke asked.
"Out," I replied and left.
Poor Aiko. How could Hiei do something like that to her? How will he get through this problem? I don't know about you but I think a good twist will be cool. Later!
