Disclaimer-I do not own YYH or Crystal. Sorry I couldn't update yesterday but I had to go to my highschool to get my books,schedule, ID and It took me forever cause they totally screwed up my schedule!!! Well its fixed and I'll stop chattering so you all can read the new chapter.
Chapter 12-The Arrival
Three months had past quickly and everyone is excited about the babies who should be arriving any day now. Hiei was nervous as hell and was a bit over protective of Kit. Kurama was the same except he offered to be more of a butler for Crystal so that she never had to get up. A month ago Keiko and Yusuke anouced that they were expecting as well and since Yusuke is half demon, Keiko human, it should take 6 months for their baby to be born. Everyone was cheery and happy, until Hiei noticed Kit was missing. He didn't wan't to alarm the others, so he went upstairs where she normally is now a days. He opened the door to their room to see Kit laying on the bed sound asleep. He smiled and walked over to his mate,brushing strands of hair away from her face. She opened her eyes slowly to see Hiei leaning over her.
"Hiei? Whats wrong?" She asked drowzily.
"I didn't know where you were, that's what's wrong" He scolded.
" You mean I have to tell you when I go to bed now?" She whined.
"Yes you do. Im sorry I woke you, you can go back to sleep now, I just wanted to check on you"
"Hiei?"
"Hn.?"
"Stay with me" She pleaded.
He smiled and walked back over to her, pulling up a chair to sit. He placed a hand on her belly where the baby is. He could fell her kicking inside and looked up to Kit to see that she was in pain.
"H-Hiei! The baby's c-coming!" He panicked and ran to get Kurama. He ran into Kurama in the hall way.
"K'rama......Kit.....the baby....." He panted.
"I..know Crytsal is in labor also.....Yukina, Kuwabara and Shizuru will be here in a minute to help you."
"Whos....helping you?"
"Genkai and Botan. Yusuke and Keiko aren't here yet." Hiei nodded as The 3 came up to him.
"Come on shorty, your kid and your girl needs ya" Hiei didn't argue. He led Yukina and the others to the room. Kit was in serious pain.
With Crystal, Kurama, Genkai and Botan::
Crystal was also in serious pain, more then Kit's even. She was having twins after all. She looked back at the door way to see that Kurama had come back with Botan. Genkai was already with her. Kurama ran to Crystal seeing her pain and held her hand gently. He noticed her sqeezing his hand,like a twitching motion.
"It hurts Kurama" She said with tears streaming down her face.
"It's alright, I won't leave you"
"Actually yes you will" Came Genkai's harsh voice.
"WHAT!?!?!?" The two yelled.
"Yukina is making Hiei do the same. It's a wifes tale that the male shouldn't be in the room while the baby is deliverd or it will cause problems. Did you ever wonder why hospitals have waiting rooms? That's the reason now get!" She pointed her finger to the door. Kurama was determined to stay but what if the tale was true? he was in a fix.
"It's....alright..Kurama...I'll be ....fine" She panted, the pain becoming unbearable.
"If you need me for anything don't hesitate to call for me" He replied. She nods painfully as he leaves the room. He see's Hiei being pushed out of the room at the same time as he. They look at each other and sigh. They go sit down on the couch and wait. Each minute more troublesome then the last. Hiei and Kurama flinched everytime they heard a scream. After about 45 minutes of antisipation (sp) Yukina and Botan come out of the rooms to let the 2 males in, they were up before Yukina and Botan could say anything.
With Hiei and Kit::
Hiei walked in the room. Kuwabara was passed out and Yukina had come back in to help Shizuru clean up. He looked over at the bed, Kit was holding a small bundle in her arms. She looked tired. He walked over to her when everyone left the room. Kit looked at Hiei and smiled.
"She looks just like you Hiei. Would you like to hold her?" She asked. He nodded and took the bundle from Kit. The small baby looked at Hiei. She had ruby red eyes, black hair with a small white starburst. She truley did look like him.
"Hiei?" Kit looked at Hiei.
"Yes?" He asked.
"You still want to name her Ariel?" He nodded and sat on the bed with his daughter. Kit tried to relieve Hiei of the baby, but she latched herself to Hiei's shirt not wanting to let go.
"It's alright, I can hold her" Whispered Hiei and he smiled.
"Hiei are you okay?"
"Yes, why?"
"Im exhausted and I would like it if you could watch over Ariel while I take a nap"
"I can do that much. You rest........I love you Kit"
"I love you too Hiei, now leave" She said playfully. He smiled and left the room.
With Crystal and Kurama:::
Kurama entered the room and Genkai and Botan left. He was at Crystals bedside almost immediatley. He heard whimpering and walked over to the bundels in Crystals arms. She was rocking them to settle them down. She saw Kurama and smiled deeply.
"Hey Kurama."
"How are you?" He asked.
"Tired. Wanna hold your babies?"
"Yes. They are OUR babies, not just mine" He corrected.
"Even after all this you still correct me" She laughed. He gently took the babies and got a good look at them. The baby girl had silver hair and green eyes. She had the cutest silver fox ears. Kurama looked at the boy. He had red hair and blue eyes. He had silver fox ears as well. They both had bushey tails. Kurama sensed that the two were half fox-half water demon.
"Kurama? Can you take them while I rest? Im tired."
"Yes. Of course."
"Remember, Youko and Amara" (they named the baby girl Amara lilly minamino)
"Yes I remember. Now get some rest."
"Yes master" She smiled and drifted to sleep. Kurama took his children and left the room just as Hiei was leaving his. They entered the living room to see everyone was there, even Koenma. Everyone comented on the babies who were a bit frightened of all the new faces.
"Let them breathe will you?" Came Shizuru's voice.
"They are so precious!" Comented Keiko. Yusuke smiled inwardly, he was going to be a father not to far from now.
"Hey how fast do demon babies develop?" Asked Kuwabara.
"They will probably be walking in a week or so if thats what you mean" Answered Kurama.
"A week!!??"
"What's wrong baka? Afraid they'll kick your ass too?" Hiei said calmly
"No I am not afraid because they will never kick my ass" Hiei smirked and whispered something to his daughter.
"Remind me to teach you the art of kicking his ass" She giggeled. Kurama looked over at Hiei to see him playing with...he couldnt remember her name.
"Hiei, what is her name again?"
"Ariel Hina Jaganshi. What are the names of your off spring?"
"The boy is named Youko Asakura Minamino. The girl is named Amara Lilly Minamino."
"Hn." He resumed to play with Ariel. At 1:00 in the afternoon, Everyone but Genkai and Yukina left to leave the new fathers at peace with their children. Hiei had taken Ariel to the clearing after checking on Kit who was still sleeping. Kurama stayed inside with his pups. (Thats what fox demons call their babies, kinda like a litter of puppies they had a liter of foxes. dont ask)
With Hiei::
Hiei was watching Ariel crawl, trying to catch butterflies. When one landed on her nose she giggeld making Hiei smie. He noticed what Kit had dressed her in. A bright yellow sundress. She was so beautiful to him. He wanted to see if she knew her name.
"Ariel" He said simply, causing the small child to look over at Hiei. She crawled over to him and tugged on his pants leg wanting to be held. (Yes he was standing) He picked her up as she yawned.
"Sleepy?" He asked her. She shook her head no and yawned again.
"I think it's someone's nap time" He smiled as Ariel shook her head no.
With Kurama::
Kurama was sitting on the couch watching his two play around on the carpet. Youko playfully tackeled Amara and they hit Botan's boom box. It turned on playing rap music. They made a 'yip' noise and ran behind the couch. Kurama chuckeled at his pups. They came back from around the couch and growled at the noise maker.(Note they are on all 4 like a real fox, they will walk normal soon) Kurama picked his pups up to lay them down for a nap. They struggeled to get out of his grasp but he was stonger then the two and gave in to their father.
"Nap time, Youko, Amara, follow me" He set the twins down and they followed. Kurama lead the twins to Crytals room. Only then did he notice that the babies were wearing outfits like Youko Kurama. Amara's was a cerulean blue, while Youko's was a dark green. They walked into the room to see that Crystal had awakened.
"Oh, and how's my favorite twins?" Crystal asked. The twins eagerly went to their mother. Crystal began breast feeding them when Kurama came to sit in a chair next to the bed.
"Are you alright?" Kurama asked. She nods.
"Yes, Im much better after taking a nap. How are you doing? What of Kit and the baby?"
"Im fine and so are the others. I just came to lay them down for a nap, but I see they are hungry." He looked at his pups who were feeding hungrily on her breast.
Back To Hiei::
Hiei had come inside hearing rap music. He sat Ariel on the couch and turned the radio off. Ariel was crawling over the back of the couch, trying to balance her way across. Hiei had turned around in time to see her before she fell off. When he caught her, she was shaking.
"Shhhhh. It's okay,don't worry." He said soothingly. She looked up at him with her big red eyes. "Let's go see how your mom's doing, then it's nap time." At the sound of nap time she pouted.
They both went into Kit's room. Kit was standing up and looking out the window singing. She heard the door open and turned to see her two favorite people. Ariel wanted to go to Kit so Hiei handed her to Kit. She began to breast feed Ariel while Hiei told what had happened since she had been asleep.
"Sounds as if you two were busy." She smiled. " Im surprised no demons have attacked since I became pregnant"
"Perhaps they are waiting. They must have known of the legend before us and tried to kill you before you could give birth to a child. Now that you have, they may wait until the children are strong enough. What ever reason, we will face it" He said without emotion.
"You've given this alot of thought haven't you Hiei?" He nodded and looked at his now sleeping daughter.
"What I don't understand, is how can 3 children save all three worlds? Why save something that plans to destroy you? Why can't we help?"
"I don't know. We'll think of something" She got up and put Ariel in a small crib that was across the room. After she tucked Ariel in Hiei wrapped his arms around Kit's waist and pulled her into a passionate kiss.
"You shouldn't even be up, you should be resting."
"Im fine Hiei, really I am"
"Hn" He picked her up and sat her on the bed.
