Chapter 14- Answers and A New Member
With Youko And Ariel::
The two young demons were training as they had said. Both were equal in strength and agility. It was a tie round. Youko used a technique he learned from his father: The Rose Whip. Ariel was using one of Hiei's techniques:Fist Of The Mortal Flame.
"Take this! Rose whip thorn wheel!" Shouted the fox.
" I'll destroy your weak rose! Fist Of The Mortal Flame!"
The two attacks clashed causing the children to fly backwards. Ariel hit the nearest tree, and let out an ear shattering scream. Youko flew in the opposite direction, thus going through the temple. ( ^_^UU oh boy)
Everyone that was in the temple came towards Youko except Hiei, he ran outside to Ariel.
"Youko! What happened!?" Asked Kurama and Crystal at the same time.
"Never.....put a rose....whip thorn wheel......up against a fist of the mortal flame" He laughed painfully
With Ariel::
Ariel was still up against the tree crying. Her back was in extreme pain. Hiei saw Ariel at the clearing and raced over to her. He looked over her, nothing appeared to be broken. Kit was soon at the clearing.
"HIEI! WHAT HAPPENED TO MY BABY!?"
"She and Youko were training. Youko was thrown into the temple while she was thrown against the tree." He picked up his daughter carefully and followed KIt to the temple.
"Im....s-sorry papa." Ariel cried panifully, tears streaming down her face.
"Theres no need to apologize. It was an accident, Are you alright?"
"M-my back hu..rts" Kit looked back at her fallen child.
"Hiei is she gonna be okay?" Kit worried.
"Hn.........." He was unsure. Hiei felt something leak through his shirt, blood. He looked down at Ariel to see that infact she was bleeding heavily.
"Hiei! We have to get her to Yukina now!"
He nodded and they raced over to Yukina who was presently healing Youko's wounds. His arm was broken and his head was bleeding slightly. She finished healing Youko and handed the boy to Crystal who held him tightly in her arms. Yukina turned to see Ariel's condition. She nearly fainted seeing the blood. Hiei and Kit had the same expression on their faces that cleary stated they were worried about the small child in his arms. Kurama looked to Youko who was near tears. He hadn't meant for his best friend to get in such a condition.
"She's healed for the most part but she should stay in bed for a few days as Youko should too" Smiled Yukina
"Thank you so much Yukina!!" Said a relieved Kit.
"No problem at all. They really shouldn't train like that, if the attacks were stronger they both wouldnt even be breathing right now"
Hieis POV-
' If they attacks were stonger they wouldn't be breathing!? My God, how strong were those attackes?? I hope Ariel is alright...she's everything to me. She lost alot of blood too.....probably used one of my attacks, damn girl. Hn, always wanted to like me......Damn she's as arrogant as her mother.'
Normal POV-
Koenma appeared just as the children were put down for sleep. He looked dead serious (A/N-the apocolypse is coming!). Everyone waited with anticipation for his news.
"Damn it Koenma! Spill the damn news!" Shouted Yusuke.
"It's......The legend, we have a precise date on when and where this will all begin.......we also discovered why we can not help them....." He nervously said.
"What???!!! Tell us creton or die!" Yelled Hiei.
" Yes I agree with Hiei, This is no laughing matter Koenma" Kurama said with a hint of being pissed off in his voice. The two mothers nodded in agreement.
"It will take place in the Makai, 8:15 AM. The exact place is the northern mountain area. We cant help because........."
"Koenma! Tell or suffer! I will kill you I swear it!" Crystal fumed
"Wait...we cant help.....is it becasue we die?" asked Kit. Everyone froze, never thinking if the possibilty that the reason they couldnt help was because they died.
"No we dont die.....We become controled......and we turn against them..." He finished
"How the hell do we get controlled? We are too powerful to be controlled" Yusuke argued.
"Thats were your wrong Yusuke. This particular form of mind control only seeks out the strongest of fighters. Once that is completed the mind control seeks out the rest and it spreads faster than 9,000 miles per hour, meaning it could easily cover the 3 worlds in less then half an hour. Thats all I had to say.........I just hope that...."
"Wait! You never said how long it would be!" Koji interupted.
"Oh yes I forgot. It will begin in 10 months. November 17 is the exact date. Fare well" He dissapeered back into the spirit world that would no longer be in 10 months.
3 months later----( sorry Im being vague)
Kurama and Crystal discovered that not too long after Koenma's announcement that they were expecting another baby girl. They had come to the decision that her name would become Holly Marie Minamino. Hiei was happy for his fox friend, More kids is what he needs was Hiei's idea. Yusuke trained Koji harder and harder wach day so he could help the 'chosen children'. Yukina and Kuwabara had had thier child a month before Kurama and Crystal. They named their son Kuwiichi Kuwabara. Ariel and Youko had a small crush going that niether fathers approved of. Amara stuck with controlling the water, as it was her specialty.
W/ Kurama and Crystal::::
Kurama walked into the bedroom where a pregnant Crystal lay in bed. She wasn't asleep he could tell. Kurama walked over and sat at the edge of the bed.
"I know your awake. I need to talk to you....now" Kurama calmly said.
"You ruin all my fun. Whats wrong?"
"I've noticed you ki has been dramatically low while in your pregnant state. I dont think you can use your powers"
"What?! Thats obserd Kurama of course I can use my powers watch" She holds out her hand, trying to form a water ball in her palm. She cant do it. Crytsal suddenly looks up with worry on her face. " Uh oh..."
"Its okay you'll get your powers back when..."
"No....My water just broke" She interupted. Kurama stopped for a minute to take in what Crystal just said.
"Oh god, Hold on I'll get Yukina!" He called and ran to get Yukina.
-After the delivery- (dont wanna go into great detail)
Crystal was holding her new born baby girl with Kurama right by her side. Hiei soon followed in the room to see his best friends child. Kit, Kuwabara, Yukina, Keiko and the Children were able to see the baby 2 at a time.
"She looks exaclty like you Kurama!" Said an astonished Hiei.
"Is something wrong? Hiei?"
"Im wondering if she has anything to do with the legend? Maybe it isnt Youko but Holly?"
"Hiei what are you getting at?" Asked Crystal who was a bit moody from her 'ordeal'.
"The child of Fox, The child of water........Holly looks more like Kurama than the other 2. Amara specialty is water, do you get where Im getting at??"
They nodded even though neither wanted to. Outside the room, 2 young loves are listening to the whole conversation.
"There's no way Holly is part of the legend.....its me and Amara right?" Asked a worried Youko.
"I dont know............what papa says does make since though" Commented Ariel.
"She's my baby sister...there are exactly 7 months left before the legend unravels...It cant be her"
"Youko what if she is?! you cant stop that!"
"Maybe not but I can protect her or atleast take her place!"
"Your talking crazy, this legend has haunted us all our lives! All you used to talk about is how you wished someone else had the curse!" Youko feircly slapped Ariel across the face.
"Not my sister I didnt! Maybe your not even part of the legend?! What if this is one big scam!? What if your baby sibling had to take the burden of the 3 worlds!!??"
"I-I dont know"
"Exactly" He turned and walked the opposite direction.
Meanwhile--
"Hmmm, Everything is going according to plan is it not master?" Said a servant.
"Yes, and soon the power orbs hidden in thise children will be mine"
