The Pregnant Disease Chapter 3: Good and Bad News

"Kurama? Kurama? Kurama! Wake up! Please, Kurama! Don't die on me," Hiei started to yell in a panic. He felt the fox demon cum, but wasn't sure if it was in time! All he knew was the boy had his eyes closed, and wasn't responding.

"Please, stop doing this to me! Please…" he started to say, tears developing. Before one could drop though, green eyes soon revealed themselves, and a smile along with them.

"Sorry, how long was I out," the once unconscious boy asked. He was very tired, and fainted briefly. The other demon just sighed, and hugged onto him tightly. Hiei then stated, "Don't you ever do that again."

"I couldn't help it. All of that lovemaking exhausted me. I'm surprised you're not in the same state as I am," Kurama answered, and then hugged back. It was then that Hiei realized how tired he actually was, and thought for a few moments, before settling into the other boys embrace, and falling asleep.

[Next morning.]

/I have to do this…it's best for him…I…I can't be with him, / a certain fire demon reasoned himself. It was early morning, and the other boy was still sleeping, though waking. /Once he wakes, I'll say what I need to say, and leave. /

"Hiei, are you going to leave," Kurama asked getting up slowly at first, but quickly alert once he noticed the other fully dressed.

"Yes, I'm going to leave. I only wanted to make sure you woke up," Hiei started to say in his usual cold tone. This surprised the other demon, and he then asked, "Why? What about…last night?"

"All that happened last night was I saving you. There were no feelings what so ever. I only did this in order to keep one of the best warriors alive. Don't try and make it more than it is. Goodbye Kurama. May the birth be safe and easy," he then stated leaving in a flash.

"Hiei!" It was too late he was gone…just like that. / `There were no feelings what so ever,' / played through Kurama's head, for the rest of that hour.

[An hour or so later, and Yusuke and Kuwabara are now over at the house.]

"He said what!?! That asshole! Why in the hell would he say that to you," the boy started to yell. Even Kuwabara thought it was cruel of Hiei to have said what he said, and leave.

"Don't worry Kurama. Even though you are going through what only girls should go through, I, Kuwabara Kazuma, promise to help you through this," the dumbest out of them all stated proudly.

"I second that, but do you mind if I stay here with you? My mom is bugging the hell out of me at home," Yusuke stated at first serious, but then back to his usual cheerful self.

"I don't mind, I would be honored to have you both as my guardians for the time being. Will it be any trouble though," Kurama asked feeling glad that he hadn't lost his friends.

"Nah, no trouble at all. School isn't that important to me. All you have to do is give me the money, and I'll get you all the food you want," the brown-eyed boy said jokingly. He received a small chuckle, and a small smile.

/Good, I at least have him chuckling. Once I get my hands on Hiei…I'm going to give him the biggest ass woopin' he's ever had in his life, / Yusuke then thought, yet grinning like he was happy.

[Outside, within a tree near the window.]

/At least he has those two idiots to take care of them. Hopefully he'll forgive me…but it's a doubt, / Hiei thought sadly to himself. He didn't want to say what he did, but there were other demons after him, and he couldn't risk Kurama, or their unborn child's life by staying around.

A small tear threatened to fall, but he wiped it away before it could. Then, he quickly left to the youkai world, in order to face his foes, and perhaps be rid of them for good.

[Back in the house.]

"Okay, we'll have to ask Genkai if she knows anything about being pregnant," Yusuke started to say/think. Then he quickly told himself, "Like she'd know shit about that! She's a single old woman!"

"Uh…I can ask my mom about this! She should know, she had me and my sister," Kuwabara suggested.

"Okay then go! Hurry up and find out what we should do about Kurama! Oh, but don't act suspicious," the black-haired boy then yelled, pushing his friend out of the door. He then returned to his other friend, and found him crying quietly.

"Hey, what's wrong? Still thinking of Hiei? You shouldn't depress yourself. I know that much about being pregnant. Stress, depression, too much physical work, or any thing like that is bad for you and the baby's heath!"

"I know…but…it still hurts," Kurama whispered. Sighing, Yusuke sat down next to him, and gave him a hug.
