I woke up around eleven. Apparently the school had been closed for the day due to some faulty wiring…or something. No one knew, no one cared. Megere told me that we had to run back to our other apartment to get something, so, we went to our apartment. Mégère went off into our room, while Amanda and I hung out in the living room.

We were there for like, an hour. Mégère hadn't come back out of our room the whole time. I was sitting on the couch watching TV, and I didn't know what Amanda was doing. She kind of…walked off. I thought she had gone off to find Megere and hang out with her for a while.

There was a knock on the door, and no one went to answer it, so I had to answer it. At the door was a girl who looked really familiar. She was tall, wicked thin, with long white hair and purple eyes.

"Hello. Aren't you that new girl from my…entire day?" She asked in a forced gentle tone. I remembered Kurama pointing her out yesterday.

"Ya. Who are you?"

"Oh, I'm sorry. I'm Maniaque. Don't bother to tell me your name. I already know." She said with a smile, inspecting the tip of her white hair. "Listen, I'm here on business." She stated, starting to step closer to the door. She glared at me when she realized I wasn't moving to let her in.

"What do you want?"

"I'm looking for Amanda. I heard she was here."

"From who?"

"A little bird landed on my shoulder and chirped it in my ear." She said sarcastically, pushing past me. "You won't even know I'm here. I'll just need to talk to her, then I'll be gone." She stated rather quietly, walking towards the door that lead to the room where Mégère and Amanda were.

"Hey, get back here!" I grabbed her wrist, causing her to stumble back and face me.

"Excuse me!" She yanked her wrist away from me. "Touch me again Munchkin, and you die." That pissed me off.

"What did you just call me?" She sighed angrily.

"Ok, listen. We still have to go to school together without ripping each other's heads off, k? I don't want to start anything I'm too lazy to finish right now. Now, I'm going to talk to Amanda, and you're going to stay here and ignore my presence. Is that ok?" She turned, and strode away. I followed and stood in the doorway.

Megere and Amanda were sitting on the bed playing cards. Amanda looked up, her eyes widening.

"Hey Man."

"Mani." Maniaque said dryly, inspecting her fingernails. "Listen, I need to talk to you. You know, shoot the breeze, hang, chill. So, wanna come?" She didn't look at Amanda at all.

"Uh…not really."

"Well, that's alright cause you're coming regardless." She walked over to the bed and grabbed Amanda's wrist. She wasn't more then two steps away when suddenly she and Amanda both hit the floor. I looked up in surprise, and saw Mégère glaring down at Maniaque with a smile.

"Lets get the hell outta here." Megere said, helping Amanda up and running towards the door. Megere didn't make it too far before she was laying face flat on the ground as well. Maniaque was looking at Megere's ankle with a satisfied grin.

"You little SLUT!" Megere yelled, spinning on the carpet and kicking Maniaque in the face. "Guys, get outta here. She won't take long." Megere commanded mid punch.

"Megere!" I yelled, not really wanting to go.

"Louve, now's not the time to act loyal. Get your sorry ass out of here, besides, she's almost out!" Megere shouted back, giving a kneeling Maniaque a hard blow in the stomach. Amanda grabbed my hand and started running for the door.

Renard: Sorry this was so bad. I wrote it today, and I was really distracted. What with homework, Yu Yu Hakusho, which I taped and watched six times (maybe more…this is only round six for me^_^), and research on Chinese Foot Binding…which really scared me! O well!
