Koenma) That's why I asked Genkai to train you all. (Nina: amazed) The Genkai? (Genkai) The one and only. (Nina: excited) Oh my God Kitana do you know who this is? (You) Don't know and don't give a damn.

(Nina's POV) Kitana was immedialty struck and in anger attacked the old woman. She was fast but after a few seconds Kitana had pinned her to the ground, her foot placed on the woman's neck and pointing the tip of her kitana there. Her breathing was fast and ragged. (Kitana: out of breath) Now- what can a- stupid old hag teach me anyway? I beat this bitch already. Then Genkai got up and punch Kitana in the stomach bringing her to her knees. Kitana punched Genkai with all her might in her face and before you knew it they were fighting. Then you held Kitana back and Yuske held back Genkai; Kitana then disrespectfully spit at her feet. (Kitana) You have to gain my respect first you old hag. (Genkai) You don't have any respect. (Kitana: talking to Koenma) I've trained by myself since I was old enough to do so; I'm not training under that trick.

(Koenma) You will if you don't want to be thrown in prison. (Kitana) What?! What the hell are you talking about? (Koenma) You're wanted for the murders of over 600 associates of Human and Spirit World each. You'll work off the life sentence within three months, that's your punishment. (Kitana) You bastard I'll kill you- (You) Kitana! She broke away from you and went outside slamming the door behind her. Kurama shook his head in disgust at Genkai and Koenma and went after her. (Genkai) I suggest you get over her for now; you won't be under the same roof to soak in her attitude. Kurama approached Genkai and placed his fingers on her jaw and tightened his grip. (Kurama) Don't say anything to me. Don't... He left then and Genkai smirked. (Genkai) I finally have a tactic to use with Kurama to get him to train harder. Everyone laughed to relieve the tension in the air and Kuwabara, Hiei, and Yuske began packing the females' bags into a Cadillac, and the boys into an Escalade.

Kitana made it back with Kurama just in time to get in the designated vehicles and Genkai turned to Kitana. (Genkai) Kitana all of that attitude you have will be best left here, because once you're on my shrine, Kurama won't be there to help you. That ass is mine. (Kitana: turning to her window) Whatever. (You: excited) So Genkai what are we going to be learning. (Genkai) I'll help wake the animal within. (You) But we can already turn into cat form... (Genkai) You have much to learn. You sat back and wondered what Genkai meant. She was truly a riddle to solve but that only made you happier. If she could make you stronger you wouldn't be so dependant on Hiei and he wouldn't have to worry about you all the time. Either way both you and he benefited, and Blada and Alkashe didn't. You turned to Kitana and gave her a playful scratch and nudge and she purred and pinched your side in response.

You could always make that serious face of hers smiles and before you knew it, everyone from Kayko to Kitana was snuggled up like a pack of kittens sleeping. Genkai awoke you all with a slap across the head and immedialty Kitana was cross. (Kitana) I don't like this trick. (You) Oh don't worry Kitana, everything's going to be alright. (Kitana) I never trained under anyone before; I'd rather train myself. She walked away with her bags and you followed along with Yukina.

(Yukina) Why is she so withdrawn- (You: finding an excuse not to tell her anything) Has she given you the slightest idea to make you believe that she wants you to know? (Yukina) No. (You) Well I'm not saying anything. You hurried after Kitana when you felt Yukina's coldness creep into your mind. She was trying to read it but it wouldn't work on you that easily; she'd have to be much stronger. There was more to both you and Kitana than she knew and then again wouldn't want to know. Her life was nothing compared to yours.

You all had to share a room and you bunked with Kitana, as Botan and Yukina shared a bunk and Kayko slept in a single bed. Genkai was going to show Kayko and Botan how to fight without having powers and Yukina was going to learn to strengthen her healing wave. But you and Kitana would train in a designated area for twelve hours every day six times a week until the three months were over. You lay in bed tired and drained of energy when Genkai burst through the door and poured water on Kitana. Kitana lashed out in surprise an then in anger. (Kitana: mad as hell) What the fuck?! (Genkai) Get up, I'm not done with you two yet. Yukina, Botan, and Kayko decided to come along and you found yourself as well as Kitana in front of a huge brick wall. (Genkai) We will begin by me showing you how to crush an opponents inside with them having a powerful and strong armor on.

She punched the wall on one side and it broke into pieces. She pushed Kitana forward and tapped on the wall. Kitana punched and screamed; that action rewarding her with a slap to the head. She growled and Genkai backed off momentarily. You had already completed this training with your former master and when it was your turn you aced it. (Kitana's POV) You watched as Nina punched through the wall with ease and cursed silently to yourself: why hadn't you learned that attack when she was trying to teach you? Genkai then turned back to you. She tapped the wall with a small wooden stick once and you punched where she had instructed. You cracked something but it sure as hell wasn't the wall, it was your knuckles. Again she hit you, and you gritted your teeth and banded your fist to keep from hitting her back. The Bitch. What was wrong with her? Again she instructed, again you failed. (Genkai's POV) Kitana was engulfed in rage and despair; something was eating away at her soul.

She reminded you of someone... Tagouiro, you had to heal the darkness around her heart or she'd end up like him, or worse. You hid your spirit energy within the walls when it came to Kitana to test just how powerful she was. Nina had gotten the easy way out; you had let her burst the wall without her going through pain. But Kitana she needed hard discipline. Your body shook with every blow she landed and you smiled inwardly when she pounded away relentlessly. Each punch was precise and you noticed that the wall would have given way minutes ago if it wasn't for your spirit energy. Then she burst through it. Your energy came back into you and for the first time in 20 years you felt weak after that. She was getting much stronger. Yukina, Botan, and Kayko were all startled at her power level but Nina was much used to it. Besides, behind her peppy exterior and innocent ways she was a force to be reckoned with also.

You let them go back to sleep and headed to the male dorms, Hiei, Kurama, and Yuske were in for a painstakingly hard training session. You woke them all just by coming into the room and Kurama started putting on a shirt. He was much powerful than before, but there was just one more thing he needed to do before he'd be ready for the Dark Tournament. Hiei was already dressed, damn, he was much faster than before, and his movements were so fast even Yuske couldn't keep up. Kurama could and they were the first to leave the room.
