(Kurama's POV) You and Hiei decided to go to the training area to train before the match that was to come and were taking turns holding the punching bags and sparing with each other when Alkashe and Blada walked over to you both. (Hiei) What do you want? (Alkashe: carelessly inspecting his fingernails) You know you have them right now but you'd never have their virginity. You whose face had remained emotionless now turned into pure hatred. (You) Liar! (Blada) Oh it's quite true. I remember it like it was yesterday, Nina and Kitana had tried to run… but we hunted them down with our pack of dogs and at first we took them on the ground, then we had our way with them at our mansion. (Alkashe) Over and over again, so you see why they're so distant to you, they'll never trust you so stop trying. (You) You bastard, I-will-make-you-pay! (Alkashe) Will you? You want to right now. You then lunged at him cursing your rage and trying to tear him to pieces. Men from the other teams had surrounded you all and held you as well as Hiei back. (You: yelling) Bastard! I'll kill you, you son of a bitch! LET ME GOOO! Hiei broke free and attacked Blada cutting him across his chest and you broke free and punched Alkashe hard across the face. Neither budged or moved and through rage you began to choke Alkashe. At first he just stood and then stared in shock, he'd probably never been truly choked to the point where he couldn't breath but he broke away and disappeared, reappearing a few feet away from you. Hiei was about to stab Blada in the chest that was lying on the ground but he caught the kitana and punched him off, standing beside his brother. They then smirked. (Blada) I will enjoy killing you, you insolent little bastard. Hiei was so angry for when he made fists his nails pierced his palms causing them to bleed; and you noticed that you foamed and slobbered from the fangs. You could taste his blood in your mouth, and the savage in you wanted you to pounce, mame and destroy. You followed them and could smell their excitement and fear as they led you to the arena. It was your turn to fight Team Quanishwa but that was soon ended when Alkashe pointed out every team and with one single blast destroyed them. (Alkashe) Weaklings that were in our way, no? You half laughed half-gurgled in madness. This man read you like a book. Now Team Alkashe and Team Urameshi could really tear each other apart limb from limb. You walked towards Alkashe like a stalking fox ready to pounce on his prey when something stopped you, Kitana's eyes. You found saneness again and walked over to her. She looked at you in confusion and fear. (You) What? (Kitana) What did you do? (You) What I did? I made it so that we could finally defeat Alkashe, he's going to pay for what he did to you. Her mouth dropped open and she stalked off with you hot on her heels. (Kitana's POV) From what he did? God, Kurama couldn't find out. Not this way you wanted to tell him after the Dark Tournament, now emotions were sure to get mixed up and cause unwise fighting decisions. Kurama looked like a mad man, his eyes had dilated to the size of small pebbles and he snarled and looked like a crazed dog. Now he knew and that was sure to bring trouble to your relationship. Suddenly someone grabbed your upper arm and turned you to face them. It was Kurama. (Kurama) How come you never told me about this… About him? (You) Because I knew that you didn't need to know, it was too complicated and you wouldn't be able to face him without thinking of vengeance! (Kurama) But don't you want that? You snatched away from him. (You) Kurama, since when have you ever cared about vengeance? (Kurama: holding you to him) Since the woman I love was wronged unjustly, but you must answer me and tell me the real truth. (You) I will not. (Kurama) Why not?! He… raped you; he needs to be punished! (You: scornfully) And you'll be the one to bring him justice. You're turning into him! Kurama's face turned to pure shock and you walked off to your room trying to escape the argument that was sure to come. He slammed the door behind you and turned you to face him. (Kurama) Don't you ever tell me that I've turning into that bastard! (You) You're acting just like him now! Kurama grabbed your upper arms and pushed you backwards your body colliding into the bed behind you. He then sat atop your lap and grabbed your chin within his hand applying pressure. (Kurama) Atleast I'm not afraid to confront my fears! And for the hell of the matter you don't know me well enough to ever insinuate that I act like him, so don't do it again! (You) Kurama get off of me! (Kurama) You're afraid aren't you… of him. That's why you were so passionate one minute and cold the next, you're afraid that I'd hurt you the way he did. (You) Kurama… (Kurama) Look at you, you still tremble under me after you've gotten to know me so well. I'm not him Kitana, and I will bring him to justice. (You) Kurama that's not it, I don't want you to get hurt. (Kurama) I can take him. He'll never hurt you again. (You) No, I've felt his power, Yuske can't even beat him, we should just leave and- (Kurama) Is that the only way you know how to deal with him, by running? (You) Kurama, I don't want to lose you- (Kurama) You won't! He moved from you and you hugged him tightly, refusing to break away from him first. (Kurama) You stay safe. With that you both walked to the arena. (Nina POV) You lay in bed not wanting to go down to the arena. Everyone boasted on how Alkashe had defeated the other teams with just one blast from his hand. How could Team Urameshi stand up to such power? How would Hiei? You turned over and put on your boots. Hiei hadn't talked to you since the last time you saw him. When with your friends he stood off in a far corner and stood alone as if that was the way he was meant to be. And come to think of it he never showed how much he loved you when everyone else was around. Kitana was lucky to have such a caring and open relationship, when yours was full of lies and deceit. Suddenly Hiei burst through your door and locked it. (You) Hiei? (Hiei) Nina… did Blada rape you? You looked down and thoughts started to swarm in your mind. He found out! How? You'd never tell anyone that was supposed to go to the grave with you. (Hiei) Nina?! (You) What? (Hiei) Answer the question, please I need to know the truth no more lies, no more secrets. No more- (You) Distance. (Hiei) Yes. (Nina) How can you ask me not to be so distant Hiei? You guard your heart like it's a declared treasure how come you're not open to me. When are you going to show others how you feel about me? (Hiei) If my enemies knew that I loved you, they'd hurt you to get to me and if that ever happened, I wouldn't be able to forgive myself. (Nina) So you're saying you're not strong enough to protect me? (Hiei)… No- (Nina) Then what is it? Kurama is always hugging and openly showing how much he loves Kitana and he would kill someone if they ever crossed her, but you, you'd let me get insulted and wait until everyone's left until you'd make a move. (Hiei) Nina please just tell me. The tears that were threatening to spill your eyes finally came rushing out and he came and held you close and in a comforting way. (You) I- I can't tell you- He hushed you by placing his fingers on your lips. (Hiei) Your tears are all the evidence I need to make him suffer for what he's done to you. Then you walked to the arena hand in hand. The host of this year's competition was a nervous wreck, never in his life had he seen such brutality done to other teams before him. He sweated and nervously stammered as he introduced the first fighters. (Host Aronago) G-good evening l-ladies and g-g-gentleman, welcome to this years Dark Tournament in the far left corner stands last year's champion and leader of team Urameshi Yuske Urameshi! A throng of maddening booing and cursing was followed behind Yuske's introduction but he simply ignored it and focused on the fight ahead.
