The feeling of anticipation and anxiousness was threatening to overwhelm Yukina even though she knew that her wait was finally coming to an end. It was unfortunate that they so rarely had visitors here at the temple and there was no true way of knowing just when one of her friends was going to stop by. Yet now there was no way she could mistake Kurama's ki as he approached the temple although it was from an unexpected direction. 'He must be returning from the Makai. This will be to my advantage, surely he will wish to rest for a bit before continuing towards the city.'

It wasn't all that long ago that she'd returned to her homeland either but it had been for a short visit. There were no thoughts of returning to the Koorime Island for good, not until she'd figured out who her brother was at long last. But she had run into someone surprising on her journey and he had imparted to her an important piece of information. Shishiwakamaru had been all too eager to listen to her plight about finding her sibling and to her surprise he was a fountain of information. While he didn't know who her brother was, he confirmed her suspicions that there was one in their group who could help her.

Of course the knowledge had hurt in the beginning because Yukina knew Kurama was aware of who she sought. 'Why then hasn't he offered his help?' The question had continued to plaque her over the past several weeks but she was no closer to an answer now than she had been before. But as the redhead came into view the Koorime steeled her resolve, she would have her answers soon and he would not deny her. After all, he was her friend was he not? Friends didn't allow each other to suffer and that's exactly what she'd been doing since she learned about having a brother who had been lost to her.

“Yukina, it is good to see you again,” Kurama greeted the woman warmly as he approached. It was good to see her again for it had been far too long. Stopping by had been something he'd been meaning to do for a while but he'd been so caught up in work. Then just as he had gotten some time off Yomi had contacted him and he'd been forced to return to the Makai to see what he'd wanted. Carefully he looked the girl over and noticed the slightly strained smile she was giving him. When he'd run into Hiei the apparition had said that he felt something might be wrong with her but he couldn't determine what it was. As such Kurama knew that Yukina would be receiving a visitor later in that evening since Hiei would want to look in on her himself.

“I've been wondering when you would stop by Kurama. It's been far too long, won't you come in,” Yukina asked although she was fairly certain that he wouldn't turn her away. The answer wasn't long in forthcoming when he removed his shoes before stepping up beside her. With a smile she turned and led him inside, more than ready for the conversation she was about to ensnare him in. 'Be on your guard Kurama, a kitsune may be crafty but even your kind can be cornered. Your first mistake was in underestimating me, I assure you that you'll find I am not so easy to brush off as you once believed.'

Emerald eyes narrowed slightly as Kurama took in the slightest change in Yukina's expression. Long ago he'd never believed he would have used devious as a word to describe the girl but there was no denying that was exactly how she looked. For a moment he wondered what the hell was going on to make her experience such a drastic personality shift. 'I'll have to watch her closely. Could it be a possession?' The idea wasn't completely out of the realms of possible but it was highly unlikely. As he fell in step with her he decided to keep a close watch on her. “So how have you been since I last saw you,” he asked casually, hoping to see if her answer provided any clues.

“Lonely,” Yukina replied without hesitation, failing to miss the look of surprise that crossed his face. 'The times for lies and half truths is over Kurama. No more masks, no more falsehoods. You will see what you and the others have put me through with your silence.' She paused for the briefest of moments to allow Kurama to proceed into the dimly lit room before stepping in behind him. The door slid shut with the faintest of clicks and then she turned to face him, “Go ahead and make yourself comfortable. It's been far too long since we've last spoken.” She could see that he was wary but that knowledge didn't daunt her in the least. 'He's not getting away from me that easily.'

“I see,” Kurama said carefully as he lowered himself to the mat and took a serious look at her. The sweet endearing look that she normally wore was gone now and had been replaced with one of hard determination. There was also no mistaking the sadness lurking in her eyes. 'Perhaps we have been too neglectful of her.' Everyone's lives had been so hectic as of late the Koorime seemed to have gotten lost in the shuffle, “I'm sorry I haven't had the time to come and visit as of late. Has Kuwabara been absent as well?”

A frown graced her features as she sat across from the avatar. It was obvious what he was doing and she didn't like it. Of course Kazuma had been by to check on her often and she was certain that he was aware of that much. No, the question he asked had to be a distraction technique and now more than ever she was certain he didn't want to help her. That thought hurt more than anything. “Kazuma visits frequently,” she stated quietly, “but I'm sure you already were aware of that. I can't help but feel it's time we cut through the pleasantries.”

“If you insist,” Kurama replied calmly although he was more than a little concerned. Now more than ever he was glad that Hiei would be coming to check on the girl. He got the feeling this was well out of his ability to deal with. While he might be able to begin to discover what the hell was going on his hands were rather tied when it came to exactly what he was able to do about the situation.

“Kurama, if I were to ask for your help in finding my brother what would you say?” she asked calmly, perfectly at ease with the situation she'd managed to trap him in. Although the man seated across from her was a demon she was well aware that he wouldn't hurt her. Attempt to leave yes, but no he wouldn't harm her. But if he did leave then she would know that he was keeping things from her, above and beyond the knowledge of what might help her find her brother.

For a moment Kurama remained silent, considering his answer. They were now in dangerous territory and he couldn't help but wonder if she'd somehow found out about Hiei. In that case she had every right to be angry with them all but ultimately the decision to answer her questions rested in the hands of the apparition himself. “I would ask what you would like me to do,” he replied after a few moments. His gaze never wavered from hers and Yukina's expression never changed. Whatever had set her off was something the Koorime had no intentions of backing away from.

“I see. You know I've been searching for him for years and even Hiei has agreed to help me look. Yet you have never offered to do the same. Sometimes I wonder why,” Yukina said with a questioning look. Did the kitsune have a particular stake in ensuring her brother's identity remained a secret? Or was it his kitsune nature coming to play in taking pleasure in feeding off of the misery of others? One way or another she was determined to find out which it was.

In his mind Kurama was cursing Hiei for allowing this to have gone on for as long as it had but outwardly he retained the calm facade that betrayed nothing. “Yukina if there was some way that I could assist you I would but there is not. One with Hiei's abilities is far more suited to hunting down a missing person. I hadn't meant to lead you to believe that I wasn't willing to aid you in your search,” the half truth flowed smoothly from his lips. While he would have been more than happy to point out exactly who her sibling was, it wasn't his place. In fact he and the others had been forbidden to even mention it. He would not break the apparition's trust, no matter how much pain Yukina was in.

“But you can help me,” Yukina stated plainly. As Shishiwakamaru had told her, all kitsune were capable of creating the potion she desired. Yet as he'd spoken she couldn't help but wonder if it had been nothing more than an exaggeration of their abilities. Determined to find out she'd altered her course to journey to a clan of forest kitsune. To her surprise Shishiwakamaru's words had been confirmed but none of them were willing to help her. The only option she had left was Kurama and she wasn't going to waste her chance. Anger flowed through her at seeing the expression on his face. Even now he was the picture of calm and acting as if she were too stupid to realize when she was being lied to. Fixing him with an implacable stare she continued, “Each time I go home I learn a great many things on my travels. Some of it is useful where as most of it is not unfortunately. Yet when I heard of an interesting tale concerning your abilities I was intrigued, so much so that I sought out more of your kind just to be sure.”

Now Kurama wasn't so sure he wanted to know of what she was referring to. The Koorime was showing a side that was more suited to Hiei than the girl he was friends with. “Different species of kitsune have different abilities Yukina. There is a good chance that the information you found does not apply to me. As much as you have my sympathy I'm afraid I still cannot help you,” Kurama said and prepared to stand, “I'm sorry but my time runs short. I must be going.”

“I should have known. You would run when confronted with the truth,” Yukina's voice was deceptively soft but it was enough to stop the man from moving. “I would never have mentioned it had I not been certain of the facts Kurama. I know of the Kankei potion so I will ask you again. Why have you allowed this to continue for as long as you have?” Granted he was under no obligation to help her in the first place but had the roles been reversed she would have done everything necessary to aid him.

Now it all fell into place and Kurama hoped that Hiei could pick up on the colorful phrases he was hurling his way. The Kankei potion was one that was used commonly among kitsune clans. With how closely knit they were it was preferred to have a connection established to everyone who shared the blood. Once taken it would allow one to touch another's mind with minimal effort. The potion was invaluable among the clans but rarely given to outsiders. That Yukina even knew of the potion was a great surprise that left him between a rock and a hard place. Should she take the potion Hiei's secret would be revealed before the night was out yet how could he refuse her? “There is a good chance that it will not work for you Yukina,” Kurama said after a moments thought, “That is why I never thought to mention it. I did not want to get your hopes up when Hiei was a much better option for finding your brother.”

For a moment Yukina was silent as she regarded him calmly. At least he wasn't denying its existence outright but she still couldn't help but feel he was lying to her. The more that she thought about it the more certain she became that he knew exactly who her sibling was and just didn't want to say. That made the most sense, she must be a veritable feast of negative energy for him to feed off of each time he came by. Why ruin such a convenient buffet? Yet now that he was aware she knew it would be more difficult for him to deny her. A slow smile spread across her face then and she sat up a little bit straighter, “I'm willing to take that risk Kurama. You say you wish to help me, allow me to take the potion and see for myself as to the truth of your words.”

Kurama pursed his lips and regarded her with a calm he did not feel. Giving her the Kankei potion was completely out of the question. But if he were to outright tell her no then his relationship with Yukina and ultimately Kuwabara would deteriorate. Finally he shook his head, there was just no other way around it. He was going to have to take action based on what Hiei's wishes were at the moment. If the man ever changed his mind there would be hell to pay. “Are you certain? There is a good chance that he did not survive the fall from the island. Would you rather live with that knowledge than the false hope that he might still be alive?”

Immediately Yukina's eyes narrowed at the bit of information he'd let inadvertently slip. She'd never made any mention of her brother being tossed from the island, only that she was searching for him. The avatar knew far more than he was letting on and it was tempting to pursue it. Only the knowledge that the potion would allow her to speak directly to her brother stopped her from doing so. To confront Kurama further he might withdraw the offer to help and remain silent on what he knew, leaving her with nothing to go on. Firmly she nodded her head at him, “It's a risk I'm willing to take. False hope causes nothing but more suffering in the long run. At least with this I will have some closure, one way or another.”

'I hope you are happy Hiei. This will destroy any chance you might have had in telling her the truth.' Kurama sighed and sprouted a tiny plant within his hand. The small leaves were incredibly delicate which belied just how potent it really was. It was a drastic measure but one that he was sure would work. While he'd never tested its effectiveness on a Koorime he had no reason to doubt that it would work. “I'll do what I can to help you Yukina because I do not want you to doubt my intentions again,” Kurama said firmly before he began plucking some of the leaves off, “Tonight before you go to bed I want you to make this into a tea. Use these three leaves, no less. Within an hour's time you will begin to feel drowsy, it's normal. When you begin to drift off your mind will begin searching for those that carry the same blood. Should the unfortunate occur and you find no one to anchor to then you will have your answer.” Of course he knew that she wouldn't receive an answer for the tea would be nothing more than a sleeping potion. When she awoke in the morning she would be devastated but Hiei's secret would be safe. It was the most he could do for one of his most trusted friends.

“Whatever comes of this Kurama, you have my thanks,” Yukina said quietly as she accepted the precious leaves. She hated the fact that she had needed to take this route in the first place but desperate times called for desperate measures and in the end, it had gotten her what she wanted. The thought of apologizing crossed her mind but she shoved it away, he'd been the one to force her into this position in the first place.

“I just pray this gives you the peace that you are looking for,” Kurama said with a sigh. Since he knew what was coming there was no way he had any plans of being here in the morning. As much as Yukina might need the support, he didn't want to have to deal with the emotional overload. It would be entirely too easy to give into her tears and tell her that her brother was alive, just to spare her the heartache that she was going to go through. Slowly he pushed himself into a standing position and took one last look at the girl, “I really must be going now, I've been gone from my responsibilities for far too long as it is.”

“I understand,” Yukina replied as she moved to stand as well. Now that she had what she wanted she had no desire to detain him. Instead she wanted the privacy to do what she needed to do before she made the tea that would bring her brother to her. Come what may she didn't want an audience for what was about to occur and when the kitsune left she was virtually guaranteed to be alone. Genkai wouldn't bother her for the rest of the night either and for that Yukina was grateful. “I will see you another time then, thank you for stopping by,” she said as he slid the door open and stepped outside.

Kurama merely nodded and slipped his shoes on. A quick glance to the sky proved that dusk was soon approaching and there was no telling when Hiei would be arriving. There was every chance that she'd already be asleep when he did so and if that was the case the apparition might well seek him out. It would be fortunate if he did so because the hybrid needed to know of what had happened. Leaving a message for him here wasn't possible though and Kurama knew it. For now it would just be best for him to wait and allow the apparition to come to him.

-Three Hours Later-

Yukina was seated on a soft mat with a cup of tea in her hands. Impatience had finally gotten the better of her and she'd given in to the temptation to attempt to find her brother. While it wasn't her normal time to retire for the evening she knew that the tea would see to her lack of drowsiness. The taste made her cringe with each sip that she took and not even sweetening it with honey had taken the edge off. It didn't matter though, the cup was almost empty and there was a pleasantly warm sensation spreading through her as the minutes ticked on. Now all she needed to do was wait for it to work its magic.

While she enjoyed the silence of the night she couldn't help but wonder what her brother would be like. Somehow she doubted that he would be like her in very many respects, his life had to have been hard. As such it would have shaped him in far different ways then her own life had taken. Would he be brash and outgoing like Yusuke? It was possible she supposed, the man would have to be powerful and all the demons she'd met had no problem flaunting that strength. Or would he be like Hiei, cold and sullen on the best of days? She thought that possibility was more likely. It was doubtful that he would be like Kazuma or even Kurama but she knew to have a definite answer she'd just have to see what the evening held for her.

The song of a cricket filled the air and Yukina closed her eyes. Sleep still seemed so far away but the warmth was continuing to grow, stirring aches within her that she only rarely felt. It was no matter though, she would bear it as she had the other times and ignore the urges it inspired. Nothing would sway her from her goal, she merely had to be patient and continue to wait for the tea to take affect.

That was how Hiei found her nearly half an hour later, leaning against the wall with a pleasant smile upon her face. To his surprise she seemed to notice the moment that he arrived and turned to look at him with a smile lurking at the corners of her lips. Something about her appearances was a bit off but he couldn't quite put his finger on just what it was. “Yukina,” he greeted her quietly while walking further into the room. The underlying agitation he'd sensed from the Makai was still present but it had been greatly reduced. It only fueled his curiosity to get to the bottom of what was going on.

“Hiei,” Yukina greeted the apparition warmly, “It's been a while. Have you been well?” While she'd been hoping for complete solitude Hiei's appearance was completely unexpected and very welcomed. Any time he chose to stop by her heart was warmed that he'd thought to check on her since she knew that for most people he couldn't be bothered. Quickly she stood up and guided him over to the low table, gesturing for him to take a seat so they could talk. “Can I fix you some tea?”

“That would be fine,” Hiei said as he took his place on the mat and after a second thought continued, “Thank you.” The smile she was giving him held hints of strain now and her skin was becoming flushed. Critically he examined her as she knelt down to pick up the teapot sitting there and before she could stand he'd put a restraining hand on her wrist. “Are you unwell,” he asked her, concerned that she might be taking ill.

Yukina took a deep breath and nodded, “I'm alright, just a little warm.” That was a bit of an understatement but she wasn't concerned just yet. Who knew what effects the tea would have upon her but whatever it was, it was worth it. The feel of his cool skin was particularly comforting given how warm she was feeling. Perhaps she needed to go and wash her face, that would be refreshing. “Umm, if you could excuse me for a moment Hiei? I'll just be a moment and then I'll come back and fix your tea.”

Releasing the gentle grip he had on her wrist, Hiei nodded, “Take your time.” The skin beneath his fingertips had felt slightly warm but not unusually so. Granted, his own temperature was a bit higher than normal but he still wouldn't believe it to be a cause for concern. He watched as she disappeared from the room and settled back to wait. As the minutes ticked past his eyes strayed to the forgotten tea pot. When Yukina came out she was certain to trouble herself into making a new pot which was pointless. What she'd been drinking before he arrived would suffice, there was no need to put her through the trouble of brewing a new batch.

With that in mind he stood and ventured into the kitchen to retrieve a tea cup. Sounds of running water could be heard nearby in another part of the temple. Most likely Yukina was washing up and would be rejoining him shortly. Resuming his seat he poured himself some tea and sipped it, grimacing when he found it cold. A bit of ki flared in his hand, enough to warm the liquid again. The taste wasn't all that pleasant either although he'd had far worse. 'What is she drinking this for? I know she has better tasting stuff than this crap.' Still, if nothing else he'd bear it, just to keep her from putting herself through the trouble of serving him.

Eventually Yukina made it back to the main room where Hiei was waiting. It'd taken her far longer than she'd anticipated but by now the ache in her body was nearly out of control. She could only assume that it was because there was a male present. Whenever she'd had those urges before she'd been alone and they hadn't been all that difficult to overcome. 'That has to be what it is and it will become easier to bear once he's left.' However she paused in the entrance, her eyes widening when she saw Hiei sipping on a cup of tea while he waited on her. “Did you make a new pot yourself Hiei?” He wouldn't have settled for the cold tea on the table would he? 'Oh I hope not, he'd never forgive me for not warning him what was in it.'

“There was no need,” he replied before draining the last of the tea that was in his cup, “This was fine, there was no need to trouble yourself.” Carefully he set the cup down and looked closely at his sister. Her color was a bit better and he could see that she'd splashed water on her face as evidenced by the few tendrils of hair framing her face that still carried water. “Are you feeling any better?”

“I'm fine,” she said, touched that he was showing such concern. It was something completely unexpected out of the stoic man. Slowly she sank down next to him, earning a raised eyebrow from the apparition but she didn't bother to move away. Now curiosity along with the pressing need to know whether or not she should tell him about the contents of the tea prompted her to strike up a conversation with him, “Hiei, may I ask you a personal question?”

Instantly Hiei became suspicious and looked at her through narrowed eyes. While they had talked a few times any personal information had come from her and not the other way around. There was very little about his life that he felt comfortable sharing with anyone, much less her, “What is it,” he asked warily. Uneasily he wondered just where she was going with this. Unconsciously he reached out and began to pour himself another cup of tea.

Yukina nibbled on her lip as he sipped at the contents of his cup and decided to come right out and ask, “Do you have any family?” If he said no then she wouldn't have to worry about telling him what he'd already drank. But if there was then she'd have to face his fury at what was about to happen. 'Perhaps I should stop him from drinking a second cup. Kurama never did say how much to take.'

Hearing that was the absolute last thing he'd expected her to ask and he very nearly choked on the tea that he was in the process of swallowing. Wide eyed he turned to look at her, could she have figured out the secret that he'd been keeping for so long? There was nothing in her demeanor to suggest that she had but still it'd managed to take him off guard. “No,” he stated flatly.

“I see,” Yukina looked down at her hands and unconsciously shifted closer to him, “I just realized that I really don't know that much about you.” It was regretful that he had no family and she felt bad that as soon as she heard his answer the slightest bit of relief filled her. At least now she didn't have to worry about Hiei being given a connection that he had no desire to have.

“It's never been important enough to speak of,” Hiei replied finally calming now that he knew there was nothing suspicious about the question. Yukina had always been curious and it stood to reason that she'd want to know more about him. It was then that he noticed just how close she'd moved towards him and trying to be subtle about it he put a bit of space between them. It didn't last long however because she shifted, closing the distance between them once more. There was much he didn't understand about what was going on. Why was she craving such a close physical proximity towards him? 'And why the fuck would my body choose now of all times to act up?' He'd been vaguely aware of his body beginning to respond to the pheromones that she was giving off but that in itself wasn't unusual. All demonesses did so, it was just a natural reaction but one he wasn't going to act upon.

A slight frown had marred Yukina's features when Hiei had moved away from her but he hadn't protested when she followed him. Now he was shifting uncomfortably, causing her concern, “Are you uncomfortable?” The last thing she wanted to do was run him off, he visits were infrequent enough as it was. 'Perhaps...' She licked her lips as she leaned in closer to him and took in his scent, her eyes drifting closed. It was faint but unmistakable and slowly growing in strength. Hiei was aroused, just as she was and there was no denying that its intensity only continued to grow the closer she moved towards him.

“No, why would I be,” he asked her curtly, becoming more irritated with himself with each passing moment. By now her scent was nearly overpowering and he knew that he was going to have to leave soon. Perhaps then his body would settle down and leave him in peace, he refused to even contemplate how he was becoming aroused by his own sibling. A warm hand settled on his thigh, causing his eyes to widen, “What do you think your doing?”

A giggle spilled from her lips as he shifted away from her. Now Hiei was facing her although he'd remained seated. That was fine with her, in his current position it was easier to advance upon him. “What does it look like Hiei?” He was leaning away from her, staring at her incredulously but she didn't stop her advance until her hands were flat against the floor on each side of his hips. That aching sensation in her body was nearly unbearable now and here she had a male that was clearly receptive by his scent. “I'm testing a theory,” she teased as she ran a hand up his thigh, feeling the muscle quiver beneath her fingertips.

'Oh fuck me.' Now Hiei knew exactly how he'd been conceived. Most likely their father had run across their mother in one of these bizarre instances that he hadn't even thought Koorime were really capable of. Once she'd had him within reach the poor man had been doomed. 'Get the fuck up and move your ass Hiei!' The mental shout he directed at himself however did no good as he remained pinned in place even when her hand began tugging at the belts holding his pants closed.

The wide eyed stare he was giving her proved that he was stunned but she didn't let that bother her any. Perhaps he was wondering just how she knew what she wanted? That was a distinct possibility but she wasn't terribly interested in telling him about the magazines she had looked through with Botan one time. The pants fell open easily and she wasted no time in slipping her hand inside. Wrapping her hand around the hard shaft she stroked his member slowly. The skin was so soft it was surprising, a definite contrast to the rest of his body. Would he let her go further and see how it felt to do the things she'd seen in those pictures? There was only one way to find out she decided as she pushed him onto his back.

Hiei stared at her in shock as she pinned him to the mat with one hand on his chest. It would have been child's play to break free of her hold but the hand stroking him so teasingly had him protesting the idea of even moving. He couldn't know that the tea he'd drank affected those with Koorime blood in them differently than other demons. Indeed, he hadn't even known that the tea had anything in it to cause this reaction at all. But there was no mistaking the fire burning through his veins that made his instincts scream take her! Before he knew it she was yanking his pants down, stripping them off of his legs and his hips were raising of their own accord to aid her.

Yukina pursed her lips as she looked down on his half naked form. There was no doubt about it, the shirt had to go as well and then she would tend to her own clothing. Eagerly she gripped the hem of the tattered garment and began sliding it up. “Take it off,” she whispered feverishly in the hopes that he'd comply. To her relief he did as she asked although his movements were still slow and uncertain. She almost paused thinking he really didn't want to be doing this but his scent didn't lie, nor was there any mistaking his erection for anything but proof of his desire.

'I can't believe I'm allowing this to happen.' The thought came dimly as Hiei watched his twin's hands go to her obi and pull it loose. It was impossible to resist her and his will power had faded away until it was completely gone, leaving behind only an aching desire to see just how far she would take things. The kimono slid off of her body and soon after her panties did as well, leaving her completely exposed. He watched as she began moving towards him again, gazing at her curiously as she forced him into laying down a second time. There was no need to ask what she was doing as she turned and straddled his face, making sure to spread her knees far enough apart that he wouldn't have to strain to taste her. The only remaining question in his mind was where the hell had she even learned about this to know what she wanted. 'If the fool has touched her I will kill him.'

Yukina wasn't about to be patient and see if he would do what she wanted. While she leaned forward and began rubbing her hands along the apparition's thighs she shifted, rubbing her aching sex along his lips in an open invitation. The first tentative touch of his tongue had her purring in delight, now she could see why the women in the pictures seemed to be enjoying it so much. Eagerly she moved her hands towards his thick shaft and began massaging it with her hands. When his hips bucked slightly she licked her lips, wondering for a moment if he would enjoy the same treatment? A shudder wracked her body as his tongue brushed against her again. 'It wouldn't be fair for me not return the favor.'

The warmth that slowly enveloped the head of his shaft had him groaning in need. Perhaps he was dreaming. 'That has to be it, Yukina would never do such things.' The pleasure he was receiving was merely part of a twisted fantasy and there were no consequences he'd be forced to deal with at a later time. Slowly his hands crept up her thighs, tightening against her smooth skin as she took more of him in, inch by torturous inch. The hesitant motions of her tongue spoke of inexperience but that made it all the more enjoyable. If this were some demented dream then he'd damned sure enjoy every last minute of it until the moment he awoke. Ruthlessly he plunged his tongue deep inside her virginal opening, savoring the exquisite taste she was allowing him to indulge in.

Yukina moaned against the thick member filling her mouth when Hiei began to touch her in earnest. It was as if the restraints holding him back had snapped and he'd finally given in so he could take what he wanted. When she stilled to just enjoy what he was doing the apparition roughly reminded her that he expected his needs to be fulfilled as well and his instincts would accept no less then her best efforts from her. Redoubling her efforts, Yukina took as much of his shaft into her mouth as possible. She stopped only when she was on the verge of choking but it still wasn't enough. Quickly her hands wrapped around the base to of his cock to stroke what she couldn't get into her mouth. If she'd been expecting his aggressive movements to stop however she was mistaken. Over and over again he thrust up into her mouth, taking satisfaction in the pleasure she was bestowing upon him. Nor did he pause in pleasuring her, Yukina had a hard time remembering what it was she was supposed to be doing as his mouth assaulted her tender flesh.

The trembling in the koorime's legs told Hiei that she was close, so close to hitting her peak. All it would take was the slightest of nudges to send her over the edge into ecstasy and he knew it. A smirk formed on his lips for the briefest of moments as he began to roll, pulling his cock from her mouth and earning him a gasp of surprise and dismay. 'Don't worry, you'll get what you want soon enough.' As she knelt on the floor his hand slipped between her folds and continued to fondle her while his other hand pushed her forward until she was resting on her hands and knees. Desire coursed through him as he stared at the smooth skin displayed so openly before him. Eagerly he settled in behind her, his cock more than ready to plunge into those heated depths.

'Just as little bit more.' The motions of his hands intensified and within moments Yukina had thrown her head back, crying out as her climax slammed into her. This was the moment he'd been waiting for. Quickly he grabbed her hips and entered her in one hard thrust, grunting when her walls clamped down around him like a vise. It wasn't enough to make him pause however, with a growl he pulled back and plunged back into her tight body. The tightness that surrounded him was better than it had been with any of his other lovers. 'Fuck, waking up is going to suck, I could get used to this.' Regret pushed against his mind at the thought of not experiencing such a feeling again but he resolutely pushed it away. There was no sense in dwelling what was impossible for him to have. Instead he continued to drive his aching shaft into the depths of her warm and pliant body. The soft cries his sister were giving had him longing to fuck her harder, to abuse those tight walls that were even now gripping his member and trying to milk it of the seed it contained.

The feeling of being impaled so suddenly had left her gasping for breath but what little pain she'd felt had quickly disappeared under the onslaught that had followed. At first she'd thought to hold herself still but the apparition was having none of it. Instead he'd gripped her hips and yanked her backwards to meet each hard thrust he was giving her. The experience was nothing like she'd ever felt before but it left her wanting more. Quickly she added her own motions, showing her lover just how eager she was to have him take her while her voice filled the air with her pleas for more. The slightest of pain followed moments later when he'd grabbed a fist full of her hair and yanked her head back, forcing her back to arch. “Oh yes, more! Please,” she begged of the demon kneeling behind her. Had she known that it was possible to experience such a feeling she would have sought him out before and enticed him to pleasure her as he was doing now.

Roughly Hiei pulled away from her even though his body protested the very idea. Eager to get back to the fucking he'd been doing, his arm swept out and cleared the low table of all the dishes sitting on it. Tea cups scattered, some shattering as soon as they hit the floor but he didn't care so long as the table was cleared. Without warning he pulled Yukina up and laid her out on the hard surface, taking a moment to admire the way her body was flushed with excitement. The heated gaze she was giving him told Hiei that she wanted it and she wanted it hard. Even now her fingers were gripping the edge of the table in anticipation of the fucking she was about to receive. Hiei didn't hesitate in grabbing her legs at the knees and forcing them as wide apart as he could. Muscles tensed beneath the strain but she didn't complain about the uncomfortable position. Not that he was of a mind to listen anyway, she'd asked for it and now he was going to give it to her. A hard yank on her legs had her sliding until her ass was nearly hanging of the edge, putting her wet heat at a perfect level for him to take her. Roughly he slammed his cock into his sister, groaning when he couldn't go any deeper. He didn't think he'd ever be able to get enough of her as he withdrew only to thrust back in as hard as he could. The punishing treatment had her crying out but it was in pleasure, driving him to go even faster as he took her without care.

He stared at his cock sliding in and out of those tight depths, entranced by the sight of her lips pulling at him with each thrust. One hand was freed to spread those soft petals even wider to expose her clit, his finger brushing against it firmly. The reaction was instantaneous and she tightened around him ever so deliciously, making it even more difficult for him to move. The movement was repeated, causing his sister to moan his name wantonly. If this is what she was like in a dream he couldn't begin to imagine how she'd be in reality. The idea of approaching her was becoming more tempting by the moment but he wouldn't contemplate that, not yet anyway. For now he continued those teasing touches, tearing a cry of frustration from her. To his surprise she released her grip on the table, trusting in him to hold her in place. Feverishly her hand pushed his out of the way and began working on that tiny bundle of nerves. It was obvious what she craved and she wasn't being shy about taking it. Her climax arrived quickly, taking him by surprise. The rhythmic tightening around his aching cock was too much for him to bear and he knew that it was time. Eagerly he leaned forward and redoubled his efforts, grinding his hips against her while her walls milked his shaft. Finally reaching his end, Hiei trembled as his orgasm tore through him and he emptied his seed deep inside her.

Panting and out of breath, he collapsed on her trembling form and closed his eyes as her arms wrapped around him. The feeling of being held was a foreign one but for now he'd allow himself to enjoy it. After a few minutes he rolled over onto his side but that was pushing the limits of his remaining energy. Yukina for her part had snuggled up against him with a contented sigh and a smile. Closing his eyes, Hiei took a deep breath and allowed himself to enjoy the aftermath of what they'd just shared, never noticing the moment that he slipped into a deep sleep.

-Just before Dawn-

'Hiei?'

The mental touch had Hiei growling and trying to avoid the waking world which was threatening to pull him from his slumber. Instinctively his arms tightened around the girl sleeping next to him and for a moment he rubbed his cheek against her silky hair. Yukina's scent surrounded him, drawing forth a contented sigh but someone just wouldn't allow him to continue indulging in his dream.

'Hiei, wake up. I need to speak with you.'

'Dammit, what is it Kurama?' The thought was directed at the kitsune while he was still hovering on the edges of sleep. With luck the man would say what he needed and then leave him in peace. It wasn't that often that he was able to indulge in such a restful sleep and he was loath to give that up.

'Have you been to see Yukina yet?'

Irritation flowed through the link towards him but Hiei wasn't particularly caring about what had pissed the kitsune off now. Blearily he opened his eyes, knowing that he wasn't going to get back to sleep anytime soon. It was then that he truly saw his sister laying next to him, peacefully asleep and looking perfectly content. Not to mention naked. 'Oh fuck it wasn't a dream.'

'What wasn't a dream? Hiei?'

Hiei could feel the burning intensity coming from his friend but that was a question better not answered. 'Yes I've been to see Yukina. Now what the fuck is so important that you'd wake me up?' He couldn't help but feel angry although he wasn't sure if it was at himself or her because she'd been the one to start the whole sordid affair in the first place. As if things couldn't get any worse there was a noise at the entrance to the kitchen, causing him to look up. `Just perfect, now how the fuck am I going to explain this one?' Genkai stood in the doorway with an expression of complete astonishment. Thankfully she said nothing, choosing instead to turn around and go back the way she came. With any luck she'd think she was dreaming as well.

'You need to stop doing that if you aren't going to explain just what is going on Hiei. I went to see Yukina yesterday and I felt the need to warn you. She knows that we've been hiding things from her and let me say that she is far from happy about it. She demanded to know why I hadn't told her about the Kankei potion.'

'The Kankei potion?' It took a moment for Hiei to remember just what it was but when he did he swore and made an attempt at getting up. However he stopped when he noticed that Yukina would awaken should he do so and he didn't need to try and talk to her about what had happened when he had a conversation with Kurama going. The last thing he wanted to have happen was the avatar figuring out what had happened. 'Well since my secret is still safe I know you didn't give it to her. So why are you bothering me about this now?' Somehow he just knew that the redhead wouldn't be invading his mind at this time of morning without a damned good reason. The question was did he really want to know what it was.

'Because I was forced to give her another potion instead in order to salvage our friendship. Should things deteriorate too far it will cause problems between Kuwabara and I and then ultimately it will drag Yusuke into it.'

A feeling of dread settling in Hiei's stomach upon hearing that and immediately his mind went to the tea they'd both been drinking. While a deteriorating relationship with Kuwabara was no great loss he could understand it causing issues with Yusuke. 'Just what the hell did you give her if I may ask?' Somehow he doubted that the kitsune would be so foolish as to give her an aphrodisiac but now the more that he thought about it, the more it fit. Yukina had repeatedly stunned him last night and his own reactions were about as abnormal as they'd come. He could only surmise that it was because of the concoction they'd both drank.

'Nothing more than a sleeping tonic I assure you. But the problem is I told her that if she awoke and a connection hadn't been established with her brother that he was dead. She's going to be devastated at the news and this virtually eliminates any possibility of telling her the truth. She's going to need someone to watch over her for a bit, just to make sure she can cope with the loss.'

Now it all became clear to him as to why Kurama was contacting him but that still didn't explain what had happened last night if it had merely been a sleeping tonic. 'Kurama I want you to answer me truthfully. What you gave her last night, are you absolutely certain it would work as it was meant to?' Somehow he just had the feeling that it had never been tested on those with Koorime blood which would explain why they'd both been affected. Uneasily he shifted on the table, unsure of just how Yukina was going to react to him when she awoke. It wasn't as if he'd taken it easy on her after all.

'I don't see why it wouldn't. Why? Was she acting strangely when you saw her?'

'So you have no personal experience as to whether or not it would work on her.' The statement was bitter and the kitsune was probably wondering why but he couldn't come right out and tell Kurama what had happened. Hiei could only imagine just how well that piece of knowledge would go over. A sigh escaped him when Yukina reached out and attempted to pull him closer for warmth. How was he going to explain this to her? That the potion had unexpected side effects?

'No and you still haven't answered my question. Yukina is alright isn't she?'

'She's fine.' Hiei wasn't about to tack on just how good she was feeling at the moment. Nor how much he'd enjoyed himself despite it all. Based upon the dream she was having she was still enjoying herself, he could smell her growing arousal. A groan escaped him, he was going to have to wake her up soon or he was going to end up fucking her on the table again. 'I'll deal with the problem of her grief when she awakens. However, next time be certain of the consequences of what would happen should you give her something. I will not tolerate being surprised by her actions again.'

'What... did she do?'

'None of your business. Let me just say that the next time I'm confronted with something like this do not be surprised when your mother crawls into bed with you. And I don't mean for comfort.' Nastily he smirked and broke the link before Kurama could demand to know just what the hell he'd meant by that comment. Most likely he would catch hell for it later but for now he had other things to worry about. “Yukina, It's time to wake up,' he said, shaking her gently as he did so. Slowly her eyes opened and she gave him a soft smile that would be enough to warm even the hardest of hearts.

“Hiei,” she whispered softly, surprised that he was still with her, “I'm glad that you stayed.” The look on his face made her wonder if he was regretting last night but she pushed the thought away. If he had he would have left her there, more than likely he was waiting to see what her reaction would be. Of course he would wish to know whether or not she would reject him. Slowly she moved closer to him and rested her head on his chest, “I'm not sure what happened last night but... I'm glad that it did. I just want to tell you that I don't regret it and I hope that you don't either.”

“It was a side effect of the potion that Kurama gave you,” Hiei said with a sigh and pulled her closer. It wouldn't be long before the full impact of waking up without knowing who her brother was would hit her, “And in answer to your question, no. I do not regret.” Yes he felt guilty but he wasn't about to tell her and make her feel worse than she was about to. Later once this was over they could decide what they were going to do and how to proceed. Whether it was by moving on and putting the entire incident in the past or by taking another path entirely.

“Oh no, I completely forgot about that,” Yukina cried out in surprise. Moments later a look of despair crossed her face as she realized what that meant. 'It didn't work. Oh God it didn't work!' Strong arms tightened around her as the first of her tears fell. All those years of searching and hoping to find her brother were over. There was no getting around the cold, hard truth. “He's dead,” she sobbed into Hiei's chest, “Why? Why did they have to be so cruel and take him like that?”

Truthfully he had no answers for her aside from the fact that nothing in the world was fair. But even confronted with her grief Hiei still wasn't going to bring about an end to her suffering. Instead he did the best that he could, holding her as she cried. “Come,” he said quietly and pulled her to her feet, ignoring for now the fact that they were both still nude. The mess they'd made could wait for now he decided. It would be for the best if he were to take her to her room where they'd be guaranteed that no one would disturb them for a while. Only then would he be comfortable with helping her to overcome the grief that she was experiencing.
