"Everything you see… is of the other half's memory…" you turned around, and saw her, she vanished again,

"You have no say…" her voice was all around you, closing in on you, you curled up… willing her voice to stop, wanting it… feeling so afraid… to the point of madness… until…

It stopped…

You heard nothing but the wind blowing through the trees… hold on… trees? You opened you eyes, and saw the grass under your feet… you looked up, in front of you, curled in a ball… was a shadow lady … only a girl…you could hear her sobs, and saw her black tears fall on the ground, the shadows around her had moved close to her, trying to console her… but it was no use… You slowly walked up to her, she didn't look to you…

"Hey, what's wrong?" you whispered, the girl stopped sobbing, but stayed curled up, you were unable to see her face…

"They're gone… all of them… she… she killed them all… she promised if I let her take control… she wouldn't harm anyone… she promised…Now… I'm afraid…" she shuddered, you frowned wondering what to do… "Will you help me? Will you help me make her voice go away? Make them stop following me? Stop the slavers…. Please?" she looked up to you, and you stepped back…. Horrified by what you saw…

You know that face… yes… it is the one you see in the river's surface each day… the mirrors… you know…

"It's… me?" As soon as those words left your lips, everything shattered to pieces… and…

You awoke with a start, sitting up in bed… with a cold sweat dripping down your forehead…

"Was it but a dream… or… was it reality…?" light slowly filtered through the windows, the golden threads, like spider webs, sticking to everything and tinging with a golden hue… red pastel mixed over with the gold…. Deep, powerful oranges highlighted the heat of the light… you pushed off the covers, and put your feet out of bed… you ignored the dirt on your feet…you opened the bedroom door, and walked out…

Yes… shortness… why is this so short… uh…. Well…

Her mom wouldn't let her stay on her computer to write for long because she watched SVU…hehehe…
