Natsu, Sister of Summer
"Is Natsu here?" Haru asked the child in front of the tower. Kurama was surprised. This tower was twice as large as Haru's.
"Hai, Mistress Haru." the child answered, moving to the side of the entrance.
"Please, Kurama, follow me." Haru said.
Kurama nodded and followed. There were minimal differences between the spring and summer territories. In summer, everything was a darker shade of green, and everything was in full bloom. Spring was forever a light green with buds of flowers and half-blooms. Inside the tower, everything was stone and carved to perfection. Inside, women in brightly colored kimonos walked around, keeping things clean and tidy. One walked up to them.
"Mistress Haru, what brings you here?" she asked.
"Bring Natsu here, if you will."
"Hai. I'll get her right now." The woman walked off and returned moments later with Natsu behind her.
"Welcome." she greeted. She glanced at Hiei and Kurama. "Oh, come now." She turned and began to walk off. "Any friend of Haru's is a friend of mine." They followed Natsu down the hallways and into a small room.
"Oi! Kurama!" Kurama stopped and turned to Yusuke.
"Yusuke?"
"So, why are you here?"
"Because Fuyu can be a bitch." Haru answered for him.
"This place is huge! You should see the higher floors! They're even more fancy than this!" Kuwabara yelled, running up beside them.
"Mistress Natsu," another woman began.
"Yes?"
"Mistress Aki has launched a group of fighters. They are at the border."
"I'll handle them." Haru offered. "You take care of their friend." She turned to the woman. "How many are there?"
"Sixty, maybe seventy."
"Sounds like they're setting their standards a bit higher."
"Wait, shouldn't we help you?" Yusuke asked.
"There is no need."
"What is that thing?" Kuwabara questioned, pointing to Haru's weapon.
"Mistress Haru, they are in sight." the woman warned.
"I'll be right back."

Natsu kept moving quickly to stop the bleeding. Kurama stood next to her, ready to assist if nessesary.
"She missed his heart by about a half an inch." Natsu explained.
Kurama let out a silent sigh of relief.
"You look tired as well. There are empty beds on higher floors if you would like to rest."
"Thank you, but I...."
"Nonsense." She let out a soft whistle. A woman dressed just as all the others walked into the room and smiled.
"Please, come with me."
Kurama looked to Natsu who nodded. He exited and left Hiei in Natsu's care. She was glad he had trusted her.

Haru let out a yell as she threw her boomerang hard into the group of fighters. It split some in two while it decapitated others. It made a U-turn in the air and came back, clearing a path back in the same manner as before. In one swing, she took down about two dozen fighters. She smirked, satisfied with the way things were going. She caught her weapon with ease and threw it again, adding a bit of spirit energy to the swing. This destroyed the remaining soldiers.
"Bravo, Haru. Bravo."
"Nice to see you too, Aki."
Aki was dressed in the same fighting attire that Haru was, only Aki's was a bright orange. Her hair was also a bright yellow and blonde color. She looked like autumn itself.
"What is your business?"
"We are all intellegent, civilized people, correct?"
"Make your point." Haru said, keeping a calm and low tone.
"In three days we will meet you at the center of the realm. We will have a two on two fight. If you win, we will retreat and let you be. If we defeat you, we will claim you territories. Do you agree to our terms?"
"Hai. It's so much easier to speak with you--someone who has a suitable amout of intelect."
"Sibling disputes can be the worst of all. Ja ne, Haru-chan." She raised her hand and turned, walking away.
'Aki was always easier to speak with.' Haru thought.

Hiei's eyes finally opened, his vision blured. "Kurama?" he asked, seeing the redhead beside the bed.
"Not at all." Natsu gave him a warm smile. "I am Natsu, Mistress of Summer. You are Hiei, correct?"
He nodded and sat up, wincing at the pain in his chest and shoulder.
"You're lucky you're so fast. Fuyu never misses. Seems you outran her, though."
"Hn."
"Everyone else is here. They are all safe."
"Mistress Natsu," a woman began upon entering the room. "A message from Mistress Haru." She held out the small piece of paper. Natsu scanned over it and nodded.
"Arigato. Are the other three feeling better?"
"Hai." She exited with that.
"It's hard sometimes." She was clearly speaking to Hiei, but she kept her focus to the wall. "It's hard to remember who is in control of what with all the fighting that goes on between us. It's hard to remember that they are family. Being the oldest, I feel a lot of pressure. Haru also feels that pressure in being the youngest. She was always the smallest, though, you can't tell now." She paused and smiled at him. "When you live as long as we have, fifteen years doesn't really make a difference." She seemed to snap back to reality at that moment. "Sleep well. It's quite late. If you need anything, please yell." She smiled one last time before exiting. Her eyes sparkled with something Hiei had never seen before. It was a complete happiness in troubled times. She seemed to kind to fight, dispite what Koenma had said. Natsu was unique. She resembled a female Kurama, but she was different in a way that Hiei couldn't pinpoint. He rolled over and decided to sleep on it.

I know it's still short, but I'll probably have the next chapter out today or tomorrow. ANyway, I was thinking of doing a Yu Yu Hakusho version of 'The Count of Monte Cristo' I LOVE that movie! Anyway, if you're bored waiting for the next chapter, feel free to read my other works. Oh, and Yuki-san, don't call me 'Almighty One' Almighty Kitsune sounds better! But anyway, should I make Yusuke or Hiei play the part of Edmond Dantes? I need some casting here! And maybe a copy of the movie script. Anyway, review it! And E-mail me for the casting stuff. *Snicker* I got a suggestion from a friend to do a Yu Yu Hakusho Austin Powers. I LOVE that movie, too! Could you image Hiei as the half-ass Dr. Evil? It would be funny. Send me suggestions for any movie you would like me to do and a casting list. Okay? Go for it!
