~At Genkai's Temple~

Yusuke woke up to find Keiko sitting by his bed. She looked extremely worried, and he could tell she had been crying. Her eyes were swollen and her cheeks were tear-stained. She looked like she hadn't slept in days.

“Cheer up, Keiko. I'm not dead…am I?” he said softly. She looked at him slowly, grinned and then tackled him, sobbing.

“Oh…my…god…Yusuke,” she said between sobs. “I…thought…I'd…lost…you…”

“I'm not that easy to get rid of,” he laughed.

“I think he woke up,” Noriko said. Her room was next to Yusuke's, and she and Hiei could hear him. “Finally. I wish I could sleep for four days straight like that.” She smiled. Hiei chuckled.

“If you slept for that long, we wouldn't have time to do this,” he said and kissed her.

“You're right…,” she said afterward. “Life without this would be pretty dull…” She smiled. Just then, Tamarae stood at their doorway. They looked up.

“Hey, guys,” she said. “Uh, Yusuke is awake, in case you cared.”

“Yea, I kinda figured that, I can hear Keiko sobbing. So, either he died, or he woke up. Either way, something happened,” Nori said and smirked.

“You're horrible,” Tama muttered. “Anyway, I don't know where Genkai, Kuwabara or Kimi went, but if they ask, Kurama and I will be out back, okay?”

“Gotcha,” Nori said and smiled deviously. Tama shook her head and smiled.

“You never change…,” she mumbled and walked away. Nori looked at Hiei.

“So…where were we?...”

Kurama was sitting on the swing in Genkai's backyard (AN: Does Genkai have a backyard? And if she does, would she have a swing? Some questions we'll just never know the answers too…) looking up at the stars. For some reason, he just couldn't seem to find Polaris. It was bugging him. He could find every other star that he wanted to, even a planet or two, but not Polaris.

“Hey,” he heard a soft voice from behind him. He smiled and turned around to see Tamarae standing there. She walked over and sat next to him on the swing, putting her legs over his and her head on his shoulder. “What are you looking for this time?”

“Polaris,” he whispered.

“It's right there,” she said, pointing at the sky. “See the Little Dipper? It's one of those,” she added once she realized that pointing wouldn't help him.

“Oh,” he stated simply, feeling rather stupid. “How'd you know that?”

“I actually paid attention in earth science,” she said and smiled. He laughed. “Yusuke's awake, you know,” she added.

“Really?” She nodded. “That's good.” They were quiet for a few minutes.

“Is something wrong?” Tama asked. She hated silences.

“No, why would you say that?” he asked, refusing to look at her. She gave a look that said stop lying, I know there's something wrong, now tell me. He sighed. “Are you, Noriko and Kimiko going back to Makai?”

“Uh…well, to be honest, I haven't thought about it,” she said, completely caught off guard. She thought he was going to say that someone was dying or that Yutaro wasn't really dead or something. She wasn't expecting him to ask about where she was going to live. “Why?”

“Well, because if you go back to Makai, I'll never see you. I mean, I will, but very rarely. The only time we go to Demon World is when we're on a mission,” he explained.

“You're right,” she said. “It would be impossible for us to date still. Same goes for Kimi and Nori with Kuwabara and Hiei. It wouldn't work.”

“Maybe…,” he started. “Um…maybe you should live in Ningenkai.”

“What?” she asked startled. Tama had nothing against humans, but she couldn't live with them. Could she?

“Seriously, it would work. I have extra room at my house. I have room for all three of you, actually. You'd have your own room. And you could go to my school, or even Yusuke's school, if you wanted. We have a dog, I'm sure he'd love you…”

“Kurama, whoa, slow down,” she said. “I'm still trying to process this…”

“Sorry,” he whispered and looked down. She smiled at him.

“Kurama, I would love for this to work, but I don't know. I mean, I'd have to talk to Nori and Kimi first…”

“We like it.” Tama and Kurama heard a voice from behind them. They turned their heads to see Nori, Kimi, Hiei, Kuwabara, Yusuke, Keiko and Genkai standing in the doorway.

“Uh, how much did you guys hear?” Tama asked.

“We heard enough,” Nori said. “I like the idea. I can mingle with the humans. When I say mingle with, I mean terrorize.” Everyone but Kuwabara and Keiko laughed, them being the only two there who weren't demons.

“I agree,” Kimi said. “Except, I'm living with Kazuma.” Kuwabara nodded and grinned. Tamarae laughed to herself, highly amused that Kimi could call Kuwabara Kazuma but Shiina couldn't.

“It would work out better, now that you're Spirit Detectives,” Genkai added.

“Oh yea…,” Nori said. She had forgotten that the day they returned from the mission, Koenma had appointed Tamarae, Kimiko and herself official members of the Reikai Tentai.

“Alright then,” Tama said and laughed. “Pack your bags, girls, because, gods help us, we're moving to Human World!” They all laughed and cheered.

`And to think…less than a week ago, we were making fun of Michiko for getting fat like Shiina. Now both of them are dead, Nori, Kimi and I all have guys, and we're moving out of that crap-hole we called a house,' Tama thought. `…Life is good.'

Tama: WOOHOO! I'M FINALLY DONE!

Nori: Good job, I was wondering if it would ever get done. I mean we have already started the sequel…

Tama: Hey! I can only write under pressure!

Nori: *rolls her eyes* Well, anywhoo, the sequel to this is called Elemental Shrines, and it's on PyschoFire_Wolfxx's username. Hey, wait, that's me!

Tama: Yea…and you spelled it wrong again.

Nori: I did that on purpose!

Hiei: ANYWAY!

Kurama: Thank you for reading, we appreciate it. R&R please!

Nori: And no flames please!

Tama: Check out the sequel!

All: Sayonara!
