Chapter 1: The Meeting

{Normal Pov}

"Hey, Keku. Ready for the slumber party?" Saru yells at the front yard of Keku's house.

"You bet' cha!" Keku runs to Saru to open the fence door. "Everyone's already here, with their parents." Keku frowns that everyone's parents have to come.

"It's ok Keku. Everything will be private in your room ok." Saru tries to comfort one of her best friends.

"Nobody will do anything wrong in Kiku's room, will they, Saru?" Sakuya asks her daughter like she is already angry with her.

"Of course not Mama. Isn't that right, Keku?" Saru needs back up and gets it. Keku nods her head to agree with Saru's answer but really wants to shake her head as a no. They always do something wrong in her room wither watch R rated movies or talk about their parent's sexual life. That's always a laugh.

Sakuya and Bryan are leaded to the house where they all saw their old friends.

"Yusuke, Keiko, Kuwabara, Yukina, Kurama, and Hiei. Hello nice to see you losers' again. And that insult was made for the guys." Sakuya does her normal insult to the male people of the team.

"Insulting like always aren't we, Sakuya? Why stay in such a childish mood really?" Yusuke tries to sound mature but can't so he sounds really snotty.

"Oh Yeah. I'm in the childish mood huh? Well then why have you kept that hairstyle since you were 14?" Sakuya tugs on Yusuke's gelled back ebony hair trying to make a statement.

"Yo, Urameshi. Getting beat up by girls again. How weak." Kuwabara laughs at Yusuke who seems to be in pain.

"Mama, let Yusuke go." Saru starts feeling embarrassed of her mother. Sakuya lets go of Yusuke before he can start to curse. Everyone then starts to laugh.

"Hahahaha…hmm…Kori where's your dads? I wanted to ask Uncle Kurama something." Yuma finishes her laugh and asks Kori. Kori points at the windowsill. Everyone looks at her point to a normal Hiei position. Kurama seemed to be next to Hiei talking about something nobody could hear.

"Papa, Yuma wants to ask you something." Kurama stops his conversation with Hiei and walks over to Yuma.

"Yes, Yuma. What is it?" Kurama asks very politely.

"Uncle Kurama I tried a million times but I just can't make your special chicken." Yuma frowns and lowers her head in shame.

"It's ok Yuma. All you need is practice." Kurama pats Yuma's shoulder to give her comfort. Yuma lifts her head and smiles. Happy that Kurama wasn't disappointed.

"Hey dad you ok here?" Kori walks over to Hiei and sits next to him as Kurama once did. Hiei doesn't answer. "Well? Are you going to answer my question, dad?" She moves closer to Hiei's face to meet his eyes.

"Yeah, Yeah, Yeah. I'm fine, Kori. I'm just waiting for Kurama ok." Hiei doesn't sound mean to Kori but she was his daughter so why should he. Kori nods and goes to her friends.

"So mom, what are we having for dinner?" Keku asks Keiko. Keku thinks her stomach is going to explode.

"Sandwiches. We're having sandwiches, sweetie." Keiko rubs her hand on Keku's shoulder to make it look sweet.

"We're all hungry!" All the teenage girls say in unison. Startling poor Keiko to the ground.

"Hey hey…wait up girls. You all have to be patient ok." Yusuke tries to keep the girls from running to the kitchen.

"Now why don't you girls go to Keku's room and play a little?" Yukina asks the girls and calming them not to run.

"Wait one second there, ladies. Now I'm pretty sure you all have homework to do, right?" Kurama blocks the path to Keku's room.

"Kori take care of your pop or we'll have to do homework." Keku whispers in Kori's ear so only she can hear.

"Oh! Come on Papa. We'll do it later. Please?" Kori begs Kurama which isn't good because Kurama is soft when someone begs.

"Hn. You all have to do your homework. And if you don't we'll make a vote. And I'm sure all of us want you all to do your homework so go to the table and work." Hiei moves off his comfortable spot on the windowsill. To a position in front of Kurama and helps him for he knows of Kurama's soft side. All the girls sigh and go to get their homework's from school.

"Yes dad. We'll do our homework." Kori sighs and goes with the girls. They all moan of how unfair this is.

"We have no choice my dad has a thing with words and always gets what he wants." Kori sits with the others on the table and starts her math, fraction homework.

"Yeah! I guess your right he most have a thing with words to get a guy like your Pops." Keku jokes yet Kori doesn't see that as humor so narrows her eyes on Keku who gets a bit nervous at the death stare Kori is giving her.

"Now, Now you two. We don't need any fighting. Lets just get this homework done and then we can go to Keku's room and do stuff, ok?" Yuma tries to hold Kori from running over to Keku and just plain kill her for her little "joke" but Kori calms down so she doesn't hurt her cousin and just nods. Yuma lets go and goes in between of Kori and Keku to make sure they don't kill each other.

[Back in the living room with the happy parents!]

"Look at us guys. We're all married and have a little girl." Botan is talking to everyone in the Urameshi team and there humble husbands and wives. Everyone nods they all love their lives and treasure their daughters.

"It's just puzzles me that we all got girls." Bryan mentions sitting next to his wife, Sakuya. Everyone understands what he means and nods.

"Yes that also puzzles me. I mean why not give me and Hiei a boy?" Kurama doesn't care about the gender really. He loves Kori as his daughter but he does have questions.

"Koenma has no choice of what gender. You see he gave you a girl because you are destined for one." Sakuya explains her little brother's job to everyone.

"Tana give it back this isn't funny!" Saru yells at her cousin, Tana, who just took a paper she was writing for this guy in her school. Tana runs away from the kitchen where they are working. Saru follows her. Botan gets up and takes the paper from Tana before she can react. Saru and Tana gasp when Botan starts to read the letter out loud.

"Mama no! Don't read it!" Tana tries to stop her mother from reading the letter but can't.

Saru grabs the poem from Botan's hands before she can finish the poem completely. Everyone gasps at these words. All the girls run to Saru and grabs the paper.

"Saru is this a love letter…ahh to Sanoe?!?" Kori can't believe Saru, of all people, to have a crush on the cutest guy in school.

"Well? Is it true?" Kori stands right in front of Saru so she has no where to escape. Saru blushes and nods her head.

"AHHHH!!!" All her friends yell in unison grabs the sheet of paper from the parents and go towards the kitchen.

"We'll be doing our homework ok." Kori just runs in with everyone.

"Man! Sakuya looks like the new princess will be picking her prince." Botan teases. Sakuya frowns at the thought of her only daughter dating and something else troubles her.

"What's wrong, Sakuya?" Keiko can now tell that Sakuya has something troubling her.

"It's that the girls are growing up so fast I think it's time we tell them. What they are, who they are, and of what they can do." Sakuya just knows everyone else frowns too. It isn't going to be easy to do this but they all new they had to do this someday. They decided not to tell them at first for protection but had to tell them someday for them to start their training at Genkai's to master their abilities.

"I guess your right. We all most tell our daughter's of what they are." Kurama sits on the couch next to Hiei.

"Where should we do it?" Kurama new of his daughter and she is very stubborn and won't get used to it easily so the place most be just as strange as the secret.

"Hn. Why don't we just do it at Koenma's. Tana will finally see her toddler of a father." Hiei makes a good point but Koenma has grown a little and is about to look 20 in his transformed shape. Everyone nods and it was decided that next week they'll go to Koenma's and bring their daughter's to tell them the secret powers they have.

The girls walk out of the kitchen laughing at the fun they have.

"Can we go to Keku's room now Dad?…Papa?" Kori looks at Kurama and Hiei who seems to nod them permission to go. The girls were so happy that they race to Keku's room everyone laughs as the girls bump each other trying to get into the narrow staircase. They all get up and walk off up stair.

"Those are our daughters." They all think that, for by next week they are sure that the girls will hate them for keeping these big secrets from them.

"Still couldn't they refuse being Spirit Detectives?" Yukina asks Kuwabara. Yukina looks at all the Spirit Detectives who just shake their heads.

"I'm sorry, Yukina. They could refuse to do their jobs but no matter the choice they'll always be Detectives. And always be hunted by demons for their strong powers and abilities." Sakuya feels sorry to make her friend cry on Kuwabara's shoulder. It seems all the mothers except Sakuya are crying but Sakuya knew why. They all don't want to see their daughters hurt or worse…died. Sakuya knew the risks of being a Spirit Detective but didn't care she could take care of herself but she doesn't know about Saru.

The girls come down stairs. Every one of them happy and smiling.

"Hey do you think you can here our new song. Tana and Saru made it. With Saru as our first soloist." Keku looks to see their answer before she moved on.

"Why not. Hit it!" Yusuke encourages his daughter to play. She nods and they all go in front of the living room where everyone can see. They all make a line Saru was in the middle with Keku on her left and Tana on her right. Yuma is on the far left and Kori on the far right.

"The songs called Don't Let Me Be The Last To Know!" Tana makes sure they know the title of the song before they sing it. They calm down, breathe in and out to prepare, and then the song begins.

Everyone claps. They love the song even if it makes them guilty they are proud of their daughters for singing it well.

"What you think?" They all say together, sitting on the floor.

"We loved it."

"You all sounded great!"

"I couldn't believe it."

The girls all got nice congratulations from their parents and then head for Keku's room for some more fun. Knowing that they had a song to sing for the dance in two weeks.

"They were great! I'm so glad we raised such good girls, right?" Sakuya asks everybody. They were really proud and having good girls was perfect.

But in front of Keku's room the girls are grinning with a mischief look on their faces. Are the parents right about their daughters?
