Update July 18 2021: Oof. Um. Hi. What a time capsule this piece is. Truly.
I am still surprised by the people who manage to stomach this fic, read it, and enjoy it. I mean that because I tried to reread it myself and consider rebooting it, but oml.. It was littered with so many errors that you guys get a pat on the back for managing to make it through it.
This was written during a very rough time when I was in my early 20s. I'm far older now and while not 100% great at writing in my opinion, I'm happy to say I'm at least far better than what has been written here.
I don't bother to use MediaMiner.org anymore, but you can still easily find me at AO3 under the name Oreana or on Tumblr with the name The-Blind-Geisha.
While Yu Yu Hakusho still means a lot to me, I've not had the energy to return to my stories. I apologize heavily for those who read the sequel to this and didn't get an update. A lot happened... a lot, a lot. To put it simply, I found someone I loved. We shared that love through YYH and World of Warcraft for many years (5 to be exact). When I was writing Diary of a Demon's Slave, her character and vision was put in that fic. When she broke up with me, I was devastated. I seriously thought I was going to spend my life with this woman, and it just—ended. I was left feeling less like myself for like 3 years or so. Seeing her character(s) in my stories after a time, I just couldn't anymore. I saw Jade and thought of her, and it ruined me.
I have since easily moved on from that fiasco and can displace Jade as something other than who she was originally. Because, regardless the name, she was my own vision of a character. I can detach her from that old, buried love I once had.
Will I ever come back and reboot this and rewrite/continue Diary of a Demon's Slave? I don't know. I don't want to make a promise I cannot commit to. As it is? I have so many stories active on AO3, that I am not even sure where I'm going.
However, if you enjoyed this fic because it was dark, and it helped you through a rough time, I have been and still am working on a fic that kind of is coming off of the roots of this one. It is called The Devil's Contract, and it can easily be read on AO3. It's not an OC/Demon story, but a reader insert, so you can be in the shoes of the original character.
I just wanted to update after years of ignoring my old YYH fics with no answer as to why I left. I was just too broken to continue with worlds I built with someone else. But, as I healed, my interests changed. So, thanks for those who express interest in this, but I swear to you—read something better of mine. Lol This is far from the best storytelling I've ever done.
Author's Notes: This may be one of those…odd hentai/lemon fics. Maybe a bit hardcore. (if I am good at that type of thing.) As for the title, I didn't know what else to call it. *laughs nervously* So-read and hopefully I did a good job so far.
PLEASE! This fic contains rape and sexual abuse. If you find that offensive then I suggest you go elsewhere for reading pleasure. I do not support rape nor do I think it is funny. If you want to flame me about what I am writing, go ahead and do so but it won't bother me. I will just delete it for I won't stand for it. Don't read and review/flame something that you do not like. It's not like you are making a difference or I am going to suddenly stop because of your `wise words'. Sorry if that sounds cold, but I had to say it concerning all the looks and questions I receive by posting this. To those of you who read, review and help me onward, thank you. It is greatly appreciated.
Summery: A group of demon thieves in Makai have human slaves locked up in stalls until they are called upon to do what they need. Having lost another human servant, Kuronue, and Yomi send Yoko Kurama to find another one to be their 'willing' servant till the day she dies...

"She didn't last," Yomi laughed, dragging a woman's corps by the neck like it was nothing at all. "I'll get rid of her."
"Humans are so fragile," Kuronue remarked watching Yomi drag the woman's body out of the barn that had females and some males locked up within. Kuronue noted his friend's silence as he looked over his shoulder wondering what the matter was. "Don't tell me you were growing a thing for that worthless girl and you are feeling bad about it now."
The silver haired fox demon laughed shortly looking over at the bat demon. "Please-I could care less what happens to all of these creatures," He answered, as his golden eyes darted across the barn he had constructed for his thieving team members. Stretching upwards he headed out of the barn with Kuronue following behind him. "Well, I might as well go to the Human World to find another one. Hopefully I can find a decent one." Looking back over at Kuronue, he added, "Tell Yomi I may be gone for awhile but I will be back."
Kuronue nodded, leaning against the stable doors. "Sure, find a younger one-one that we can brake in."
The fox demon nodded. "I will see what I can find." The fox demon transformed into his spirit fox form as he darted off into the woods.

"Nari," A young woman called, pounding lightly on her daughter's door. "It's almost one in the afternoon! Get up! Don't sleep the day away!"
The bedcovers rustled in a fairly large room and eventually the 14 year old threw the covers off of her, struggling to get to her feet still feeling tired. "Okay, mamma, I am getting up." Yawning, the 5'4 standing girl, walked over to her mirror, supporting herself on her nightstand. Grabbing her brush, she began to run it through her shoulder length dirty blonde hair while she tried to force her weary green eyes open. "I hate mornings," She complained heading downstairs in her pajamas.
Once Nari's mother heard the door that lead to the laundry room open, she glanced over quickly from where she was reading in the living room. "I made you something to eat, Nari since I knew, once again, you'd be up late."
"Thank you, mom," Nari said. She was about to jog into the kitchen but stopped sensing a silent feeling about the house. "Where is dad?"
"He decided to work today," She answered with a brief smile. "You know your father…he enjoys his work."
Nari nodded, walking into the kitchen to grab her lunch since she missed breakfast.
"By the way, sweetheart, I will be leaving tonight to visit your grandmother for awhile. Your father will be meeting me up there once he is through with work. I hope I can count on you to stay out of trouble while I am downtown staying with her for a day or two."
Nari laughed softly, eating the large bowl of soup her mother made. She nodded while she was trying to swallow her lunch. "I promise, mother," She finally said once she was through swallowing. Finally the house will be mine for a bit, Nari though selfishly, trying to hurry and finish the soup so she could play away on her computer.
When night came, Nari was there to bit her mother a temporarily goodbye. "You have my cell phone number in case you need anything, right?"
"Yes, mamma," Nari answered, handing her mother her keys. "And I promise to keep the doors locked and to not open the door for anyone no matter whom they say it is. Everything will be okay. You worry too much."
Nari's mother gave her a quick smile before kissing her on top of her head. "You can't blame me for being uptight when all these odd disappearances have been occurring as of late."
"Mamma, I will be fine. I promise," Nari assured placing a sincere smile on her face for her mother.
"Alright. I will be home soon, okay, baby? Bye!"
Nari stayed outside the house to wave goodbye to her mother and watch her car drive off to her grandmother's house. "Grandmother has been looking rather ill as of late," Nari said aloud, closing and locking the door behind her. "I hope things will get better for her." Stepping into the living room, the blond haired girl stood in the center of it realizing how lonely it sometimes felt when everybody was not at the house. She sighed, stretching towards the ceiling. "Might as well turn on the TV and see if anything decent is on this time of night."
As soon as Nari slumped down on the sofa, what sounded like a cat's warped meowing started coming from just outside her backyard. Shortly after, it sounded like something broke. "Oh no…what have those stray cats done now??" She asked herself angrily, getting to her feet.
It was very dark out so she couldn't see exactly what was outside the door. Sighing irritably, the young teen flipped on the lights for her backyard as she stepped outside in the back, leaving her door open. "Hello? Kitties-where are you?" She called, moving stray hairs out of her way so she could see what was causing the noise. There was a rustle in the bushes, drawing her attention to the ones that were just to her right to see a pair of eyes glaring at her from behind the green shrubs. "Kitty…?" She questioned noticing that the eyes were a bit different from that of a cat's. A bit nervous and wondering if she should be doing it, Nari reached for the creature hiding away in the bushes. "Come on-I won't hurt you, come out."
The bushes shook once more as the creature finally made its way out into the dim lighting. Nari stepped back baffled by this creature's appearance. It was a fox-a silver fox with not one but four tails. Like any other fox, it had a bit of black running up a little bit on all four legs. "Oh my God…what are you…?!" The fox just released its warping cat cry, as it limped over to her. Seeing its abnormal body movements, Nari looked down at its legs to see it keeping its left back leg up. "What happened to you?" The young girl got on her knees, to look at its back leg to see it was wet and sticky halfway up the leg. "You're injured…"
Nervously, Nari reached over and took the creature into her arms making sure not to hit its injured leg as she hurried inside to care to it. Placing the injured fox on her sofa, she pressed her hands down lightly on its fur. "Wait here-I'll be back." Nari was quick to find the first aid kit that was hidden in the medicine cabinet. Coming back she sat beside the fox pulling out the bandages that she needed. "Let me see that leg of yours."
The fox looked up at her with his narrow red eyes before, resting his head down on his front legs letting her tend to his back leg. "Here-this should help." The bandage was eventually on and Nari sat back making sure it was on there right and it wasn't hurting the abnormal looking fox. Feeling it was on right, Nari's green eyes gazed about the fox's silver fur. Stroking it gently, it drew the animal's attention to her. "Your fur is so silky and soft…it's not like most creatures…"
The fox released another warping cat cry as he placed his head on her leg, continuing to gaze up at her. Stroking his head gently, she wondered what she should do with this creature. "Well, I can't let you go free because you are hurt. But if you stay here my mamma and dad will freak. There are not many foxes like you out there, you know." The fox continued to stare up at her keeping its head down on her leg. "Well, I should take a bath before I go to bed," Nari sighed looking over at the clock noticing it was close to ten. "Come with me." Nari picked up the fox, cradling it in her arms like it was a baby, making sure she wouldn't hurt its injured leg.
Nari turned on the bath water, trying to get it the right temperature after she placed the fox gently on her mother's bed knowing it would be more comfortable for it there then on the tile flooring. While she got undressed, however, the fox jumped down from the bed and limped over to the girl. The young teen didn't know the fox had jumped down till she felt his wet nose poking around near her opening. "Hay, hay!" She laughed, trying to pull him away. "I didn't know mutant foxes did that but-that's private down there!"
The fox sat on his back legs, looking up at her like he was begging to smell it. "What?" She asked with a laugh. "What do you want? I don't have food." The fox reached up with his front legs and pressed them against her legs, reaching for her opening again with his nose. "Stop that!" She ordered with a laugh, trying to get the fox off of her. "I need to bathe now."
The fox sat back down with his ears straight forward creating more warped cat cries, begging her to let him do it just for a second. Sighing and rolling her eyes, Nari sat down on the edge of the tub. "Fine-go ahead you little pervert." As if like an understanding human being, the fox got off of his back legs and moved closer to her opening on all fours, surprising the young girl. Does he understand me…? She could feel the air being released by the fox's nose as he sniffed her quickly. The last thing he did was took one little lick and then he retrieved out of the bathroom and forced himself back up on the bed, feeling better that he got what he wanted. He's…so strange…it's like he's human on the inside!
Nari finished drying her wet hair as she saw the fox was sleeping contentedly on her mother's bed with its four tails wrapped around his body. Well, I guess I could sleep here tonight. Mamma wouldn't mind. She gently glided her fingers over the fox's fur one more time, as it refused to stir from its sleep when she graced the room. He must be fast asleep…I shouldn't wake him. He must have had a long day, Nari thought, turning the lights off and sitting on the bed. Being as tired as she was, the young girl took no time at all to fall asleep in her mother's queen sized bed.
When the fox's ears picked up sounds of Nari sleeping, his eyes eventually opened and landed dead on her body. Picking himself up off the far end of the bed, he limped over to her body, transforming back into his natural form…Yoko Kurama, the demon fox. His golden eyes narrowed as he continued to look up and down her body. Not wasting anytime at all, Yoko took his hand and placed it firmly around Nari's mouth, causing the girl to wake up quickly and in a panic. The girl's frightened green eyes fell on the fox demon making her wonder what happened while she was sleeping. She was wondering if she was even awake. "Shhh, now," Yoko breathed eerily. "Didn't your mother tell you to never take care of stray animals? God, you were easier to capture than the other females."
"What the hell are you??" Nari managed to yell, pulling away from his hand for a minute or so.
His golden eyes looked about the dark room, avoiding her question as his hand was placed back around her mouth. "Please don't make this difficult," The demon asked with an evil tone. Grabbing onto the frightened girl, the fox demon retreated from the house and headed back to his home in Makai.
--
"It's been almost a week since he went to find another replacement," Yomi stated, hanging outside the stable with Kuronue. "How long should this take considering how many females there are up there?"
Kuronue laughed slightly, stretching out his bat wings a bit. "Calm down, Yomi. I can sense his energy from here. He is on his way." The bat demon closed his eyes for a bit but reopened them upon hearing a girl screaming for the fox demon to release her. "See?"
"What the hell is that?" Yomi demanded to know watching Yoko finally cover her mouth once more with his hand.
"It was the best I could find. She's not too old and she's not too young either," Yoko explained, leading the young girl into the stable they had constructed.
"She's a mutt!" Yomi exclaimed, making the fox demon stop dragging the girl to her stall so Yomi could continue to say what he disliked about her. "Look at her! Her breasts are hardly developed and she looks half starved! She's a baby!"
"She's developed enough for us to care. I smelled her and I picked up blood on her," Yoko explained, walking down the center of the barn. Nari's eyes looked back and forth at the stalls that had men and women of different ages, mostly in their 20s, locked behind, what looked to her, like horse stalls. They all looked scared and abused causing Nari to cry as she wondered what was going to happen to her. "Besides, it's hard to brake in adults and elder teenagers are very rebellious and continuously try to retreat."
In the middle of the large stable on the left side was an empty stall where Yoko stopped to open the chained door. Once it was opened, he tossed the frightened crying child onto the horrible straw that covered the stall's floor. "She is at the bleeding stage?" Kuronue asked, appearing beside the two. "That means she'll have babies like the other women before her."
Yoko sighed, turning his attention to the other two unappreciative demons. "All females bleed unless they are really young. You don't want to fuck a toddler or a baby, do you? Besides, if she has babies, we'll get rid of them," Yoko explained heading out of the stable with his friends, adding, "I'll try working with her tomorrow morning."
Nari grabbed onto the bars that prevented her from escaping her new prison as her tear wet eyes looked frantically around for a way to escape. "I'd give it up," A female's voice beckoned from a little further above her.
Looking up she saw that the woman in the stall next to her was looking at her from behind the bars that separated the stalls a bit further up from the wooden sections of their wooden cages. Nari got to her feet and came closer to the young woman who looked about 23. Her long black hair was so shaggy and unkempt and her brown eyes had dark circles under them. Her pale skin was covered with cuts and bruises and a heavy shackle was placed around her neck. "What's going on here?? Who the hell are those people??"
The girl shook her head quickly, "Not people-demons."
"Demons…?" Nari questioned thinking that was impossible.
"Those three are the strongest demons of a group of thieves here." The woman looked over at the other stalls on the other side before looking back at Nari. "That is why-most of us are here…we are the slaves for the other thieves." Nari noted that there were a few stalls that she saw on her way down to hers and she began to wonder how many demon thieves there were. "But-you are special," She said softly with an eerie smile upon her cut lips. "We all have one demon to worry about hurting us…you have three of the strongest. When they get `hungry', they will come to you."
"Hungry..."
"Sexually hungry," The woman added, biting her lower lip.
"Wh-Why?!"
"I doubt you'll last long…none of them do," She continued, avoiding Nari's question. "Tell me-what's your name?"
"N-Nari Kudo," She answered, sitting back down on the straw, embracing her shaking body.
The girl laughed softly, disappearing from Nari's sight as she lay out on her straw. "You'll forget it eventually. Trust me-they will run you so far into the dirt and call you different things…you eventually forget your own name."
Nari noticed it was dark out still and she was tired from being kidnapped in the middle of the night and crying all the way down to Makai. Knowing it would be uncomfortable, Nari tried her hardest to lay out on the itchy straw and sleep, wishing she were home.
