Yu Yu Hakusho Fan Fiction ❯ To Be Loved. ❯ breakfast and thought ( Chapter 3 )

Jinju: Sorry I didn't update. I had another fic that I had to finish. it was on Fanfiction.net, and it wasn't anime. Anyways, here it is. I don't know if it will be long, or short, or something or pointless maybe, but remember, I am known for having writers block. Here it is.

You woke up, and it took you a while to know where you were. `O yeah. Koenma made me joined the reikai tantei. So now, I'm stuck here.' You think, with a smile.

You washed up, put on your regular clothes, and headed out of your room.

You got your self lost in the hall ways. You helplessly look around, debating to go through a certain hallway, or the other. Finally, when you were about to choose a hall way to go in, Kuwabara came up to you. "So, you cant find your way around?" He said, looking down at you. "Your pretty short." He added. You rolled your eyes. "Can you show me where I have to be?" You asked impatiently. "Sure. Follow me." He said with a grin, and began walking. You followed him glumly. `I cant believe I'm following someone who is slow.' (AN: Not the speed slow… you get it? the slow, as in, stupid slow.)

You found yourself in a nearly empty kitchen. Yukina was at the stove, cooking. You smiled, muttered a "Arigotou Baka." to Kuwabara who just nodded, and you headed to Yukina. `One.. two… three.. four…five-' Then- "HEY! I'M NOT A BAKA!" He yelled. `As I said before. Slow.' You think, grinning.

Yukina turned to look at you. "Ohayo, Teddy." She said, bowing. "Ohayo to you too." You say with a grin. "Did you sleep well?" She asked, turning back to the food. "Yeah, thanks for asking." You said. "Your welcome, Teddy." She says. "Can I help you?" You said, nodding towards the food. "Oh no. You mustn't. Please, just sit down." Yukina said softly. "Oh, no, I insist. I'm use to it." You said. "You arrived yesterday. Your new here. It would be impolite to ask a new comer to help me with break fast." She said, smiling. You stared at her, shocked. `S-she is basically the only one who ever spoke to me civilly.' You think.

Yukina noticed you staring at her. "Teddy-san? Teddy-san? Are you alright?" She asked you, worry in her eyes. You shook your head out of your thoughts, and smiled at her. "O, I was just thinking. Are you sure you don't want me to help?" You asked. "Yes, I am sure. Please, sit down." She said, and turned back cooking, once more.

Five minutes later, the other arrived. You helped Yukina set the food out, ignoring her protests. As soon as the first plate of food was set down, Yusuke and Kuwabara began devouring it. You sweat dropped, and sighed, and set more plates down. Kurama managed to get food, while Hiei just watched with the look of pure disgust evident in his eyes.

You sat down, and grabbed a untouched cinnamon roll, and ate. `And I thought my foster parents had bottomless pits for a stomach.' You think, eyeing the eaters.

When you were finished, you took out a dagger, and began twirling it between your middle and pointer finger, bored. Hiei and Kurama saw you. You looked at the dagger, eyes tracing its every moves, the look of pure boredom written all over your face.

`I wonder what my bitch of a step mom is doing? What about the drunk of a step father?' You think. `I hope they're having a hard time with work. I hope that step drunk gets fired, and I hope the Bitch gets fired at the bar.' You think, venomously.

Hiei read your thoughts. `Looks like the onna led a hard pathetic ningen life.' He thought, snorting. He watched you playing with your dagger, as if it were a pencil. `By the looks of it, it looks like she is quite talented with the dagger.' He said, impressed.

Kurama, himself, eyed you, and watched the emotions that seem to run through your eyes. First, it was amusement, then it was boredom(the time you took out a dagger), then sadness, then anger.

`What do you think, Yoko?'
The bandit in his human self snorted.
`Happy.'
`Happy? What are you talking about?! There was anger in her eyes!'

`What an idiot reincarnation I have. You wouldn't know.'
`Wouldn't know what'
`That I was sarcastic.'
`What?'
`Forget it. Let me answer your question. Suicidal. She was slicing her wrist when we found her. What a pathetic reincarnation.'

Kurama looked at you. You were still twirling the dagger around. `I hope I never return to those so called parents.' You think, sighing, and looked over to see Kuwabara and Yusuke still eating, with food and slobber covering their mouths.

`What a pleasant sight.' You think.
