CYOA: Towards the horizon… Chapter 14: After school… The movies?

PRK: I own nothing. ON WITH THE FIC!!! Sorry, only have an hour and a half to finish typing 2 chapters and get them posted.

"Find some geeky nerd, or something." You suggested as you stood to throw away your trash from your lunch. "We better get going you guys, we only have 3 minutes until the next class starts." Everyone stood up and followed as Kuwabara tried asking one of the cheerleaders to let him stay with them. Unfortunately, it didn't work.

*~After school~*

You all met outside the school as was arranged. Kuwabara still didn't have any place to stay.

"Well, we'll worry about that later." You said as you turned to the others. "Hey! I have a great idea! Let's go to the movies!!! There's this great horror movie that just came out. Let's go see that one!" You said as everyone went to their separate houses to drop off their stuff and meet at the movie theatre.

*~Movie Theatre at the showing of the SUPER scary movie "_____ (make up a creepy name, I'm too tired to think of one… O_o)"~*

You sat besides Kurama as Jonmi took the other side of you and Hiei sat besides her. Next came Vincent then Eri, then Ishizu and then Taiji, and finally Yusuke and Kuwabara. Your group of people took up the entire first row.

As the movie got started and Jonmi started munching on popcorn and slurping her soda; you ate your M&M's; Kurama ate his nachos; Hiei was eating ice-cream non-stop; Eri and Vincent were sharing a bag of licorice; Yusuke had a giant tub of popcorn; and Kuwabara had a HUGE glass of Dr. Pepper; the previews ended and a murder scene began to play before your eyes.

*~Halfway through the movie~*

You gripped Kurama's arm tightly when the killer was cutting out people's eyes in disgusting detail and everyone had stopped eating. Jonmi was latched onto Hiei and even he has stopped inhaling his ice cream to watch in morbid fascination and mixed horror. Eri had jumped into Vincent's lap and was covering her eyes, as Vincent watched with his usual stony face except for the wide eyes. And Yusuke and Kuwabara were hugging each other screaming like little girls.

*~After the movie~*

Everyone came out with looks of horror and disgust on their faces. That was until Yusuke cracked a joke.

"Did you guys hear Kuwabara screaming? He was practically choking me and was on the verge of crying for his mommy!!!" Yusuke burst out laughing as Kuwabara started shouting in response.

"Oh yeah! Well I remember you were the one latching onto me and screaming for Kayko to come and save you!" Kuwabara yelled back as they started fighting.

"BOTH OF YOU WERE SCREAMING AND HOLDING ONTO EACH OTHER!!!! NOW SHUT UP!!!" You screamed at them as they stopped fighting instantly. "Thank you. Now onto the matter of where you're going to stay, Kuwabara."

"Well, I guess I can hook you up to stay at my cousins… But it's in Eagle River. (A/N Eagle River is about 15 minutes outside of Anchorage.) So you'd have to stay there unless your coming to school because no one is going to take you between there and Anchorage, got it?" Taiji said as he started listing the rules of conduct of his cousin's house as a car pulled up besides him.

"HEY TAIJI!!!" A really perky girl said from the passenger side of the car as she rolled down the window. "Is this him?" She asked as she got out and pointed at Kuwabara.

"Yep. That's him. Have a nice weekend, and don't forget school starts at 7:30 A.M. sharp!" Taiji reminded his forgetful cousin as Kuwabara put his bag in the back seat and sat down.

"YES SIR!!!" She said giggling. (A/N Let's just say her name is Cassey, ok?) "Hey, he's kind of cute!" Cassey whispered to us as she got in the car and left us sweat dropping.

"Well, your cousin must have really bad taste if she likes Kuwabaka, but at least it gets him out of our way." You said as you and the others turned towards home.
