Yu Yu Hakusho Fan Fiction ❯ Trapped between two girls. ❯ meeting back ( Chapter 3 )

[ P - Pre-Teen ]

Kitty by now had caught Kuwabara and slapped him hard enough to leave a small, forming bruise on his face. Kurama was walking next to kitty, watching her out of the corner of his eye in case she would run away as they traveled. The group was nearing the clearing where they had left the other three when a loud scream came and sounded the air making some birds fly away off into the sky.

"Heather…" Kitty whispered as she started to sprint towards the clearing again. Kurama tensed when she started to run away but the ran after her. Kuwabara, however, took a few moments to react to the sudden change in pace and walked for a few seconds more before he ran after the two of them. Within moments they all reached the clearing. Hiei was holding Heather's arms tightly behind her back and Yusuke stood before her; both of them were staring at her for her loud scream only a few minuets ago.

"Hey that hurt!" She yelled trying to struggle away from Hiei's rather strong grip around her wrists.

"Hn." Hiei tightened his hold, "Stop struggling onna."

"Rape!" Heather yelled as loud as she could. Both boys looked at her as though she was a mental patient that had just escaped from the institution and she only continues to try and free herself.

"Would you shut up for once?" Yusuke asked, a clear hint of annoyance evident in his voice. Heather came to a halt at her struggling and looked at Yusuke trying to make the most innocent face that she could with out breaking out in laughter.

"Does it bother you?" She asked in a tone and voice that matched her facial expression.

"Yes!" Yusuke answered and made it sound as though the answer was obvious.

"Hn…"

Heather smirked as her innocent look faded. "Rape!" She said loudly again and began to struggle more fiercely then before. Yusuke sweat dropped as he held himself back fro lunging at her and choking her to death. Hiei on the other hand scowled not letting her go as Kitty, Kurama, and Kuwabara walked into view.

"You should just let her go, she won't run." Kitty said in a semi emotionless tone. Heather nodded her head repetitively in agreement. Hiei looked at Kurama as though judging whether to trust her words.

"Hey she finally shut up!" Yusuke said in a relieved voice.

"Let her go Hiei, it's alright." Kurama answered Hiei's silent question and Hiei completely let go of Heather's arms. Almost instantly, Heather disappeared from view. Kitty sighed lightly as the rest of the boys looked around clearly showing a bit of confusion.

"Hey, where'd the chick go?" Kuwabara shouted.

"Don't call me a chick please." Heather said calmly as she sat up in a tree branch above Hiei.

"Well at least you didn't ditch me…" Kitty said looking up at her smiling at her friend. Kurama then cleared his throat.

"Perhaps we should go and visit Koenma now."

"Yeah, binky breath didn't think you two would be such a pain to get." Yusuke stated.

"Monkey!" Kitty shouted and every one but Heather looked at her oddly as she began to walk in the direction that the boys had first come from.

"What?" Both Yusuke and Kuwabara shouted in unison, obviously confused at her words.

Heather jumped from her spot in the tree, "Balls!" After speaking she raced off after her friend with dumbfounded boys following after them.

Kitty and Heather were walking still while the spirit detectives watched them like hungry hawks. Both girls could feel all the eyes boring into them except for their own.

"I'm getting uncomfortable…" Heather whined telepathically to Kitty.

"You and me both…not like I would run I promised…" Kitty answered. "and I don't break my promises…"

"Great you trapped my in this too…"

"What do you mean?"

Heather sighed lightly, "I don't leave my friends, and you know that…"

"Oh, yeah…guess you're stuck with me…" Kitty answered a bit cheerily, still telepathically.

Heather turned her head and stared at her companion with a death glare. Kitty answered her death glare with an innocent meow.

"Did you just meow?" Kuwabara asked, clearly confused. Kitty nodded her head as both girls looked at the boys but then looked ahead. Kurama looked ahead, past the two girls, at the forest up ahead; it was dead silent with no signs of life other then the traveling group. The only light source, the sun, was scarce because of the many leaf covered tree branches that hung over head as the spirit detectives and their `prisoners' continued their walk.
