True Love Never Dies

 

I held a falling star and it wept for me…. dying

 

 

 

Kurama winced as he drove the blade into his wrist. He watched the blood run down his arm and drip onto the floor.

“I'm sorry, Hiei.” He said before collapsing.

Hiei was watching everything. He dashed through the window leading to Kurama's room and was by the fox's side in an instant.

“Kurama!” he shook the yoko, hoping he would open his eyes or at least move… nothing. He pulled him closer, trying not to let the tears escape. “Stupid fox…” he whispered. He buried his head in the now-dead Kurama's chest.

“Why did you… of all the stupid…” he couldn't find the right words.

He suddenly noticed a note beside the fox's hand. It had “HIEI” written in bold letters on the front. He opened it and read it to himself.

 

Dear Hiei,

By the time you get this, I'll probably be gone. And if I know you, which I do, you're probably going on and on about how I'm a `stupid fox', right? Just know that there was nothing you could have done to stop me. I just couldn't take life anymore… it's hard for me to explain how I feel…

I also want you to know that you are my best friend and I love you very much. Actually, I was in love with you. I know you probably will never feel the same way about me though, and I am afraid of being rejected. I'm so, so sorry Hiei. I hope you'll always think of me as at least a friend… maybe more.

Hiei was about to stand up but took one last look at his friend's lifeless body. That's when he noticed the presence of two different beings behind him. He turned to look and saw Kurama and Yoko. They both smiled at him.

“I love you firefly.” Yoko said.

There was a short pause before Hiei finally said “I love you too… both of you.”

Kurama walked up to Hiei and kissed him on the forehead.

“True love never dies (2).” He whispered in his ear. Then all of a sudden, they disappeared, both of them.

Hiei smiled to himself. “True love never dies, huh fox?”

Juss so ya all know, I'm not talented enough to claim any of the stuff I used in this story. XP I totally wish I was cuz Davey Havok, Eric Draven, Hiei, and Kurama are all friggin hawt. But I can't claim them *cries*
