Deablo: ok im going to try to make the chapters longer but it's a little hard for me ok lol…….today I sat in a boys lap and my dad gave me a death glare……. It was funny!!!

Hiei: how can you make a bad situation into a good one?

Forcase: yes I would like to know that too- HEY WAIT YOU SAT IN A BOYS LAP!!!! AND IT WASN'T ME!!!!!

Kurama: Looks like Ur being replaced.

Deablo: Uhhh…..well…you see there where no more chairs left so I sat in his lap...

Forcase: You could have sat on the ground!!!

Deablo: I HAD A SKIRT ON!!!

Forcase: O that makes me feel a lot better!!!!

Deablo: GOOD!!!!

Kurama: You don't really hate him do you?

Deablo: Or course not. I like him. *puts arm around Forcase's neck* but sometimes he can be so so so annoying *strangle Forcase.

Hiei: Deablo let him go!!

Deablo: NEVER!!

Kurama: well then I guess that your fans will be sad that you didn't finish the story……

Deablo:*let go of Forcase* Ok im getting to work…heres the story.

Chapter 3… A new little friend and a very big enemy……..

"Hey guys!" Jen said as her, Grim, and Kitty walked over to the group that was in frount of the building waiting for them. "Hey whereas Rachel?" Kurama asked. "She went to get Vicky." Kitty wrapped her arm around grim. Everyone looked confused. "Who's Vicky?" Jen smacked her head. "Oh we forgot to tell you about Vicky! Vicky is a little baby girl we have." Everyone's eyes widened. "So whose is it?" Kewabara broke the silence. "OH NO!!!" Kitty laughed "Rachel was walking threw the park on day and found the little girl. We searched for a mouth but no one clamed her. And Rachel and Jen got attached to the little girl and couldn't leave her at a foster care. So they take care of the girl."

"So where is she now?" Botan asked. "20 minutes before schools out Rachel's last teacher of the day let her be excused for the rest of the day to get Vicky from daycare that finishes before our school lets out." Grim spoke up. "Why don't you get her sometimes Jen?" Yusuke asked. She blushed a little. "Uhhh… well you see my grades suck so I cant be excused." Then she laughed. "But its fun sometimes to tick off my teacher and leave anyway!" Then there bus came and they got on. They sat near the back. Then before they could talk anymore a boy with dirty blond spiked hair wearing a blue shirt that showed his muscles (which whernt that great.) and baggy jeans came over and addressed Jen. "Where's my girl?" Jen glared at him "I've told you this many times Dan she picks up Vick after school." Dan frowned a bit. "Why do you guys keep that baka baby? And I told her that today you should get the baka and she rides the bus so she could come over my house." Kitty stood up. "Vicky is not a baka! And Rachel doesn't have to listen to you!"

"Kitty you forgot. I have the leash to her neck. I'm her master." He said and Botan calmed Kitty and Jen Down after what he said about Vicky. "What do you mean that you have the leash?" Hiei said. "That collar she wears. It has a leash and I own the leash that means I own her." Then he picked up his books that he had set down. "Jen you tell Rachel that if she disobeys me one more time she's gona get it." Then he went to the front of the bus and talked to some friends.

`If he hurts her I swear... Wait what am I saying!!!! I don't like any baka onna! I've been hanging around Kurama and the bakas to long!' Hiei mentally scolded himself.

"Hey Jen did Rachel ever tell you who she was talking to after Math?" (which was after lunch. Lol im stupid) "No but she said not to trust him….he looked familiar but I couldn't place my finger on it. And I tried to read there lips but the only words I got where him saying `something will something mine' and she said never in respond. Then he laughed and left." Kitty looked worried "I had never seen Demon that shaken up before." Jen sighed. "Yea I know it all stated 3 days ago."

"What do you mean? What happened to Rachel?" Kurama asked. "Oh she's just been acting strange. Like someone's fallowing her." Grim said. "Jen do you know a man named Hakura?" Hiei spoke up. Jen thought for a minute. "No but it does seem very familiar….. DAMN WHY CAN I REMEMBER!" then her face was solame. "I know why." Grim stopped snickering from her outburst. "Why?" Jen turned towards Kitty and Grim with an I'm-a-baka look on. "She used the gem." Grim and kitty laughed. "Man you feel for that again!" Jen looked mad. "HOW WHOULD I REMEMBER!" Botan waved her hand. "Uhhh hello what are you guys talking about?" then Jen looked at them. "Oh nothing you'll find out soon. O looks hers our bus stop. Come one and you guys can see the new house!" She quickly said and they got up and off the bus fallowed by a confused Botan, Yusuke, Kuwabara, Kurama, and Hiei.

They walked a bit till a big house came into view with a moving truck in front of it. It looked very nice. It had a large Garden in front that went all around the side of the house and probably into the back yard. It had a large front pourch that also went around the side to the back. It had two levels and an attic by the look of the windows. There where two men bringing furniture into the house. They went inside to a large hall way that had a stair way right in the middle. It was very nice it had blue and green things everywhere and was already nicely furnished. (I'm not gona give big details you have an imagination.) "Lay your things anywhere. Grim you know where your guest room here is." Jen said and headed upstairs.

"Where are you going?" Kurama asked and fallowed her. "To the nursery to see if Vicky's there and Rachel of course." Then she keeps walking but stopped. "hummm actually I think I'll just hang out in my room. Anyone wana join?" She turned toward them. "well im going to the billiard room to shot some pool." Grim said. "Im going with him!" Yusuke, Kuwabara, and kitty said at the same time. "And im going to go so they won't kill each other." Botan quickly fallowed them down the hall a bit. "I'll come with you Jen." Kurama said and they both walked to her room. Hiei just stood there for a second then went upstairs to try and find Rachel.

He walked down the hall opposite from the one Jen and Kurama took. He heard someone singing softly so he fallowed it. He saw a cracked door that the noise was coming from. He peeked in and saw Rachel leaning over a crib singing something to what ever was in the crib (I wonder what….) "I'll be there when you need me…..I'll never leave you in the dark…..Come and find me……..and we will never part…." She sung softly. Then she leaned down into the crib and picked up a little girl that looked about 1. She had dark purple hair with big green eyes. She had on a little orange dress and orange ribbons holding her hair in two buns on the top of her head.

Then the girl giggled a bit and poked Rachel's cheek. "I won't abandon you like your parents did. I promise." The little girl smiled like she understand and then she turned to the door and pointed. Rachel turned towards the door and saw Hiei. "Oh Hiei come in." She sat down on the couch in the room with the girl in her lap. Hiei entered the room and sat down on the couch too. "Who's that? Is that Vicky?" He pointed to the little girl. "Yes. How do you know her? And I guess that everyone else is hear too." She said. "Hn. Jen Grim and Kitty told me about her." Rachel nodded. Vicky got out of Rachel's lap and went over to Hiei. (walking on the couch which isn't that big. It only took one or two steps.) Hiei looked at her questionably. Vicky just looked at him. Finally he said "yes what do you want?" she yawned and cuddled into his lap. Rachel moved over to her. "O sorry she must still be tried a bit. I'll take her off if you want." He just put on a small smile (WOW HIEI!) "no its ok. What where you singing?" He put him arm on the back of the couch not really thinking. Rachel leaded back on the couch. "I was singing a lullaby that my mom sung to me when I was little." He looked at the little child in his lap.

"Sing it? Please?" He asked. Rachel looked at him. She looked into his deep red eyes and he looked into her sharp but gentle green eyes. She stared to sing it. "I will never let you cry……" then Rachel stopped and her eyes filled with tears. "What's wroung?" He said with some concern in his voice. "I know you where there today. After lunch. That guy wants me for some reason." He seemed surprised. "Why are you telling me this?" He put a hand on her shoulder. "Because I just feel like you would understand. And that you wouldn't look at me like im crazy. O and Hiei?" Hiei turned to her. "Yea." "stop trying to hide your energy from me. I can sense it." He smirked. "why are you crying?" He said as a tear slide from her cheek and turned into a black gem on the floor. Rachel picked up the gem and put it on the little bracelet that Vicky had on. "Because I will miss this child and my friends when he comes for me." Then Hiei pulled her into a hug and said "No. He will not take you. Or hurt you or Jen or Vicky. I'll make shur of that." She turned to him. "Thank you." She said still in his hug. He leaned down and gently kisses her lips. She didn't pull back but didn't push forward. After what seemed like hours they parted for air.

She leaned her head on his chest and stroked Vicky's hair a few time before falling asleep in his arms.

(With Jen and Kurama)

"I saw all those beautiful flowers outside. Who ever planted them has good taste and must be very good with plants." Kurama said as they got to Jen room. Jens room was decorated in red. She had a queen size bed, which was a little higher than most beds, a dresser to the side, a nice desk that was a little messy but not that bad. In one part of the room there was an easel (A stand that you paint things on) and a small side table. There was also a window seat and a couch. (There's like a couch in every room lol). "Yes. I planted them. I also take care of them; Rachel helps as much as she can." She sat down on the couch. Kurama went over to the wall where there where some paintings hanging on the wall. It was a picture of Rachel sleeping with a little girl in her lap on a high tree branch. The little girl had dark purple hair that was in two pigtails on top of her head (HI VICKY!!!! Lol) "is this Vicky?" he asked and pointed to the little girl. "Yea. Her and Rachel where sleeping they looked so cute." She smiled. "You painted this?" He sat down next to her. "Yea me and Rachel can paint. Well Rachel paints more than me because I like using pastels." She got up and opened one of the desk draws. She took out a note pad and some pastels.

She sat back down and faced Kurama. "Ok don't move!" She said with a laugh. "OK I won't as long as I can see all you pictures." She smiled and opened the pad to a clean page and stared to draw. About 30 minutes later she was finished and showed Kurama. "Very nice." He said and looked at her other pictures. There were some ones with Vicky in many different places in the garden. There were some ones with Rachel in a chair or sitting on a tree. There where about two with Grim and Kitty together. But one picture got his eye. It was Rachel, Jen, Grim, and Kitty. Jen was on the left side, Grim in the middle and Kitty on the right. Rachel was sitting down in the front looking somewhere else. But the real thing that got his eye was the fact that Jen and Rachel had fox ears and a tail, Grim had bat wings, and Kitty had cat ears and a long cat tail. [Well now I know why she's named kitty] he thought. Jen quickly took the pad noticing what he was looking at. She looked a little scared as she put it away and sat back down. "Don't worry I wont hurt you. I would never want to do that." He put a hand on her shoulder. "Thank you. You really are a true friend." He thought for a moment. [-hey Kurama let me out!!- youko said in his head.-I wana see her in her fox form again she was hot!] He keep pleading with him.

"What's wroung?" Jen said as she noticed that he looked a little annoyed. "Youko wants to come out." She looked confused for a minute then she snapped her fingers. "Oh I should have known! Youko Kurama! Cool." She smiled. "Can I see you in your demon form?" She asked. "Only if I can see you in yours." He said with a bit of gold in his eyes. She nodded and suddenly grew red fox ears and a tail with a tip of black. "There now let me see Youko!" She crossed her legs. "Ok but that side of me is a little…Uhhh… friendly." He chuckled. She just nodded. His hair turned silver and grew silver fox ears and a silver tail. "Cool." Was all she could say. She scratched him behind the ears and he purred softly. She laughed at his response. "Wow the great Youko Kurama. The legendary thief can be beaten by a little fox demon." She laughed at the way he pouted when she said that. "I'm just kidding." She sat closer to him. "Do you forgive me?" She put on puppy eyes. He tried to keep a strait face but couldn't. "Of course I do." He said and pulled her into his lap. "Well I guess you weren't kidding when you said that this side was friendly." He just gave her a sly smile. "You know you are the only onna I have ever met that is truly beautiful." He put his head on her shoulder. "Well I'm glade that we meet." She layed her head on his. He picked up his head and looked at her. He leaned in and gave her a quick kiss. She blushed a little. "Uhhh I think we should go find Rachel and Vicky." And he sighed and let her get up.

[Darn and I really like her to. - Youko you really are annoying when it comes to women. - I can't help it Kurama!] "Are you coming?" She was out of her demon form now and heading to the door. "Yea ok I'm coming!" he said and turned back into Kurama. They went down the hall a bit to another room. "This is Vicky room. Rachel should be in-" She stopped in mid sentence at what she saw. "Why did you-" Kurama just stood there wide eyed. On the couch was Rachel in Hiei's arms with Vicky in there lap sleeping. "Should we wake them?" Rachel whispered. "Yea because if Yusuke and them see them like this they will get Hiei mad enough to kill them." Kurama answered back. "Ok." She said and went over to them. "Rachel wake up!" She said quietly. Rachel just sat there. Jen sighed and picked up the sleeping Vicky. "Here hold her." She gave her to Kurama. Vicky opened her eyes. "Hi. Im Kurama." He said. She smiled and poked his nose (She likes poking people).

Then Kurama looked at Jen as she formed a ball of water in her hands. "Rachel wake up!" She yelled a bit. Rachel just moaned in response. "Ok. You asked for it." She said and threw the water at them. "AH!! COLD!!!!" Rachel screamed as the water hit them. "WHAT THE?" Hiei yelled as he also woke up. "You should have wokein up when I asked you to." Jen smiled. "No the fact that you used your water powers to do that!" Rachel snapped. "Your all wet shouldn't you dry yourself off?" Kurama asked to change the subject. Suddenly Rachel was giving off a dark blood red aura and she was dry. "Your lucky I'm a fire demon!" Then she went over to Vicky and took her out of Kurama's arms. "Hey Vicky, did you sleep well since your silly kid charm got us into this?" Jen looked at Rachel. "What do you mean?" Hiei also dried himself off. "She crawled onto my lap, Rachel sung the lullaby and we fell asleep in each others arms because of this little girl." He taped her nose lightly. "Vicky meant to do that!" Kurama and Hiei looked confused. "How can you tell?" Jen laughed. "Rachel has mind powers. This allows her to read minds, levitate and communicate telepathically." Then Jen looked mad. "And she can also us a gem to hypnotize people and erase there memories!" Rachel then knew that Jen knew that she hypnotized her. "Uhhh sorry about that but trust me you don't want to remember that guy and what he did to you." Then before anyone could say anything further Kuwabara ran into the room fallowed bye an angry Grim.

"Grim leave him alone he didn't mean it ok?" Kitty tried to keep Grim away from him. "Yea Grim, he didn't mean it!" Botan said and came in eight behind him. "No let Grim kill him! Please that'll put us all out of our misery." Yusuke laughed. Grim calmed a bit. "What did you say to him?" Jen asked Kuwabara. "All I said was that bats where stupid." Rachel laughed at that. "That was a big mistake." Kurama said. "What do you know that I don't Kurama?" Yusuke asked. "Well Grim is a bat demon." Rachel said quietly "And Kitty is a cat demon." Kitty looked mad. "WHY DID YOU TELL THE NIGENAS!!!?" Jen laughed. "Well because Hiei is a fire demon, Kurama is the legendary thief Youko, Yusuke is half demon, Kuwabara has sprit awareness, and Botan is the grim reaper." Rachel said to everyone's amazement. "Hey I told you that you should have seen the dark tournament." She smirked.

"why don't you guys stay for dinner and we can explain everything." Kitty said. "Ok. Hey who is this cutie!?" Botan exclaimed and went over to Vicky who, surprisingly, poked Botan in the cheek. "This is Vicky." Rachel said and sat down on the couch. Hiei sat with her and put his arm behind her on the back of the couch. "Wow Hiei has a girl friend!" Yusuke laughed. Rachel got up "Little boy trust me you don't want to mess with me." Yusuke stopped laughing. "Who you calling a little boy!" Then suddenly he was floating in the air. "I could let you fall right now from the widow if I wanted to you know." As see made him float outside. "OK OK IM SORRY JUST LET ME BACK INSIDE!!!!" he yelled. She let him back inside and he fell to the floor. "Come on I have to make dinner." Rachel said and picked up Vicky and headed down stairs. "Hey what are you going to make tonight. I hope its pizza!" Kitty said as she fallowed Rachel downstairs. "Well if nobody minds I'll make pasta, rice, pork steak, and pizza." They entered the dinning room. "Wow you can make all of that?!" Kuwabara asked. "Yea she can make a lot more to." Jen sat down. Kurama sat next to her. "Botan do you mind watching Vicky while I make the food?" Rachel put Vicky in her high chair next to her seat. "I wouldn't mind at all." Botan answered and sat next to the set Rachel sits at usually.

Rachel walks into the kitchen and starts to make dinner. After a few minutes she came out with several dishes floating in the air. The dishes where placed down on the table that was already set. Everyone eyed the plate hungrily. Rachel sat down the said "Dig in!" Everyone ate a handful and there was not a bit of food left at all. "Man that was the best meal I've every had!" Kuwabara leaned back. "Wait till you see what we have for desert." Rachel closed her eyes and the dishes went back into the kitchen and more dishes came out with pies and cakes and, Hiei's favorite, ice cream. After everyone ate some desert they went into the living room and sat down. They talked for a while, they talked about why Yusuke and them where her and how Rachel and Jen got to know Kitty and Grim. "See when I went to see the dark tournament I ran into these two. They had no place to stay so I brought them to the human world and we all got jobs until they could afford to live on there own. That is when we bout this house." Rachel explained. "but Grim isn't living here just yet. He is staying with his friend at there work place to get money. He is a security guard at a dance club." Jen said and smiled at Rachel. "And Rachel is the DJ there." Rachel blushed a bit. "Well at least im not a bar tender like you and Kitty." She shot back with a smile. "Hey why don't we bring our friends there it'll be fun!" Kitty said. "What about Vick?" Kurama mentioned the little girl in Rachel's lap. "We can get Ms.farly to take care of her tomorrow night (Which was Friday) She wont mind she loves Vicky." Jen said.

"Im going to go out side for a bit ok?" Rachel said and handed Vicky to Jen. "Alright but be careful." Jen warned her. Rachel just nodded and headed out the back door. Jen sighed. "See this is what we mean. She has been a little jumpy lately and can never stay in one room for one hour." She laughed a bit. "It's alright. She'll be ok by herself." Kurama put an arm around Jen's waist. Jen smiled at him. "I hope so." Then Hiei got up and headed to the door. "Hiei where are you going?" Yusuke asked. "Im going with Rachel. Something jut doesn't feel right." Then he left before anyone could say something.

(With Rachel)

[Man I hope that if he comes tonight that they wont get hurt. I don't want any of them to get hurt. Especially Hiei. Wait what am I saying, he doesn't love me. Then again he did kiss me.] she touched her lips from the memory. She sighed loudly. Her eyes filled with tears. [mother father why did you leave me so soon. I have so many questions. And I want to know what that guy meant when he said that you two owed him and I was the pay?] She tried to keep back the tears. [I don't know what he means and I miss you so much.]

(Flashback)

"he he mommy look!" a little version of Rachel said as she pointed to her tail that she had just found out about. "Yes my little fox. You have a tail. But no one must know ok?" Rachel stopped chasing her tail like a dog. "Ok mommy. I promise." Her mother smiled. "You must promise me another thing. Never let the man take you or Jen away. Don't ever listen to what he says and no matter what don't play our song fro him. Promise me?" The little girl sat in her moms lap. "I promise!"

(End Flashback)

"And I've keep my promise so far mother." Rachel whispered into the breeze. "What promise?" She turned to see Hiei standing over her. "Oh. Nothing." She said as Hiei sat down and put his arm around her waist and they leaned back onto the tree. They where sitting under a tree in the middle of the field. "What ever happened to your mother?" Hiei asked quietly. "well we where told that my mother and father along with Jens parents died in a plane crash. But that's what I told Jen at least. They really died trying to save us from a man named Hakura. The one I was talking to. Lucky we escaped. Jen was really scared when we went to live with her grandma so I erased her memory of it and told her that they died in a plane crash." Rachel and Hiei sat in silken for a while. "What song?" He finally asked. "Sorry but I saw the flashback." Rachel laughed and took out a small wooden flute. She played a soft melody. Half way threw she stopped. "Why did you stop?" Hiei asked as she put it away. "Mother told me that only once should I ever play the hole thing after they die and that I would know when.

They went back into silence for a while. "Hiei?" Rachel broke it. "Yes?" "Don't ever leave me ok?" he pulled he closer and tighter. "I will never leave you." Rachel looked up into his crimson red eyes. They just stayed like that for a long time. Suddenly Hiei got up sincing a very strong and familiar energy. "come out. Show Yourself!" He shouted. "Very good Hiei." Laughed a dark figure. And out came a man with long jet black hair, wearing a black t shirt with black pants. "Hakura! Get out of here!" Rachel yelled at him. "I cant my fox. I've come for my prize. So will you come along or do I have to force you?" he smirked. "You shall never take her away!" He got into a fighting stance and unsheathed his sword. "Why are you interfering? This is none of your concern!" Snapped Hakura. "Now it is." Hiei said Hakura just laughed. "Fine lets fight." Then he charged at Hiei. Hiei jumped away and tried to cut Hakura on the back but he quickly turned and dogged with a sword that came out of no where. "Nice try but not hard enough." He flung Hiei into the tree. "HIEI!" Rachel shouted and went to his side. "Rachel run." Hiei said as he got up and attacked Hakura. They fought for a while and Hakura ended up with a few scratches on his arm and leg and Hiei had a few scrapes too and a big gash on his left arm.

Then Hakura was about to hit Hiei in the head with his sword when a shield came around Hiei and pushed Hakura away. "Leave him alone your fight is with me." Rachel said. She was in her fox form. She had Black ears with Wight tips and a black tail with a Wight tip. "Gladly." Hakura said and attacked her. She took out her twin swords and blocked. Then Hakura got an idea. "what are you thinking Hakura?" Then he pulled back and quickly stabbed Hiei, who was on the ground panting, in the shoulder. "HIEI NO!!! Suddenly a black aura formed around Rachel like fire and her irises became black. "Finally." Hakura said under his breath. Rachel attacked Hakura. Then she stabbed one of her swords into his stomach. He backed away in shock. "You shall pay for your ignorance my shadow fox." He said then disappeared. Suddenly Jen and the others rushed out of the house and over to Rachel who was knelling at Hiei's side. "Rachel?" Jen said quietly. "Jen I need a gem. Now. Please?" She looked at Jen with pleading eyes. Jens eyes filled with tears until one fell and turned into a gem. "Of course. Here." She said and handed her the gem. Rachel put the gem in Hiei's wound and chanted something. Then she pulled out her flute and played a melody (not the one she played earlier but a different one) As she played her eyes filled with tears. Then Hiei glowed a blue color and Rachel and Jen looked relived. "Rachel lets bring him inside and tend to the wounds. You have done all you can." Kitty said she sat down next to her. "ok." Was her response as she levitated Hiei onto the ground, into the house, and upstairs into a room. "Rachel what did you do?" Kuwabara asked while Kurama and Jen (Who can help heal people) tended to Hiei. Rachel told them what happened. "Then Hakura stabbed Hiei with a poised tipped sword. Jens tears can cure any poison so I put one in the wound to help it heal. Hopefully it hadn't reached his blood stream yet or he might die." She quietly finished up and held onto Vicky tighter. "He might die." Was all she could say. "And all because of me."

Deablo: There finished the 3rd chappy

Hiei: [crying] that was so sad….

Deablo and Kurama: 0_0 that is scary

Forcase: tell me about it. I'm still mad at you….

Deablo: [pouts] Im sorry….

Forcase: {trys to still look mad] I don't forgive you

Deablo: [sits in forcases lap and put head on shoulder] im really really sorry

Hiei and Kurama: 0_0

Forcase: [puts arms around Deablos waist.] I forgive you [smiles]

Kurama: ok….uhh review please!!
