Chapter Three

Floridian Fangirls

The plane lands. Hiei tries to stay on, to watch the rest of the soap. Kurama hauls him off. He can't hold on to his suitcase, so you have to hold it for him. Why?

Because he's got a kicking and screaming Hiei over one shoulder, and a sleeping Yusuke on the other. You wonder how he does it.

On the way out, the pilot of the plane sees Hiei and asks Kurama, "Do you need a bottle for your child?" Kurama stops and whispers, "What?" in a deadly voice so low no one hears him but you. Hiei, however, lets everyone know that he's pissed.

After giving the pilot The Stare of all Stares, he says, "I curse you to burn in Hell for all eternity." He grins evilly and gives the pilot the finger. Kurama is still dangerously silent.

The pilot glares and says, "Some mother you are."

Kurama freezes in mid-step, and turns his head slightly, just a tiny bit, to see over his shoulder.

"Excuse me?"

The pilot blushed furiously, looking like he might explode. "Oh, my mistake. I'm ~"

"Excuse me?!"

"I'm sorry, SIR." The pilot says, emphasizing the `sir'.

"And remember it," says Kurama darkly, "And if you don't, that will be the last time you ever make a mistake, EVER."

Still looking at the pilot from over his shoulder, he pulls out a rose (without dropping Hiei) from his hair.

"Bang" he says, and walks away. (I got that from the show)

Outside, the sun is shining brightly, unlike New York.

There are palm trees everywhere, unlike New York.

And there are fan girls waiting. Just like New York.

They swarm over Kurama and you, since he has the majority of the band on his shoulders. Hiei plops down. Immediately, he is flooded with a `sea' of girls, taller then he is. Soon, you can't see him altogether.

"Hiei!!" you and Kurama scream. You see his hand go up. It's slowly being pulled under. "Help me…" you hear him cry, before the girls sweep over him completely. Then there is no more Hiei.

Kurama drops Yusuke, who is also covered with fangirls. You are also covered with them, only they are fanboys.

You send Kurama desperate warning signals with your eyes, but he doesn't see, because he's diving around in the `sea' of girls to find Hiei. He holds his breath, dives in, and does the breaststroke.

Then he comes up, holding and unconscious Hiei be the hair.

"Kurama…help!!" you cry, but the boys pull you under the `sea', and all there is is warm and dark.

You can't breathe. There is a mass of bodies around you. One of them is Kurama searching for you, but you can't see him.

Suddenly, you feel someone tugging your arms. You look up. It's Kurama, holding Hiei under his arm. He (Kurama) pulls you upward, and breaks through the surface of fans.

You both take a breath at the same time. Suddenly, a fanboy grabs both of your heads, screams, "I love this couple!" and shoves you both together in a kiss.

You can see Kurama's eyes go wide, and you can feel yours', too. You pull yourselves apart, and slap the fan who did that.

A police car comes. Fun's over.

While the `sea of fans' is `drained', Hiei is lying on the floor, knocked out, while you are sitting on the ground, propped up against the suitcases. Kurama is zoning out. The he looks around. "Where's Yusuke?" he asks. You shrug. "I dunno" you say

You see a car in a parking lot a while away. There are fifteen or so remaining fangirls all pulling something into the back of it (the car). It's Yusuke.

The Fangirls Attack, part two, you think.

You and Kurama run over. The fangirls have to fight their "Fangirly-ness", and stay away from you. They try and pull Yusuke in faster.

You're about to jump into the car and pull the sleeping figure right back out, but Kurama pushes you back.

"What?" you ask. Kurama looks back at you.

"Remember me,________________" he says, and grabs hold of Yusuke's legs in an attempt to get the guitarist back. He gets `sucked' in.

"KURAMA!!!!!!!" you scream.

The car door shuts and starts to drive off, but doesn't get ten feet away before stopping.

"Hey, are you looking for some of this?" you hear a familiar voice ask. Hiei has awoken.

He's standing in front of the car, his shirt off, clearly showing his muscles. He smiled. "Come get it" he said. Looking at you, he sends you a tiny wink. The girls get out of the car.

While they are poking his chest, you sneak around back, and open the car door. Kurama tumbles out, green. "Perfume" he mutters, gasping for breath.

He gets on his feet in an instant, swings Yusuke over his shoulder, pulls you along by your wrist, and screams, "HIEI RUN!!!!!!!"

All the fangirls turn your way as they hear his voice. Perfect. Hiei takes the moment to jump on the hood, bounce onto the roof of the car, and fly through the air, landing next to you.

He grins. "Right on time, Kurama," he says, running without breaking a sweat.

Kurama smiles. "Always for you, Hiei," he says jokingly. They both laugh, then they both increase their speed to about one hundred.

You wonder if this makes Kurama feel like Youko, since the last thing he and Koronue had done was talk and run for their lives.

Which they were doing now. ^_^

You and everyone else reach the hotel in about five minutes.

It's six miles away.
