As Yusuke and his friends were at the temple training, a terrible thing happened.

Botan rushed into the yard where they were, almost in tears. Yusuke stopped his fist an inch in front of Kuwabara’s face and frowned.

“Botan? What’s wrong?”

“It’s Koenma! He… he’s…” Botan trailed off, falling to her knees. Yusuke sat next to her. “What’s up with him? I thought he was out front…”

“They took him!” Botan cried. Everyone gasped.

“Who took him?” Genkai asked, kneeling in front of Botan. Botan shook her head.

“I don’t know! I remember Yusuke told me Koenma would be here, so I came by, and he’s gone!”

Yusuke growled. “We gotta find him!”

Genkai shook her head. “Dimwit. First we have to plan. It would do no good for us to fall into a trap.”

Kurama nodded. “Whoever did this is not an amateur. We must be cautious.”

~ ~In Makai~ ~

Koenma slowly opened his eyes. He sat up, rubbing his eyes. He was still tired. Then he blinked. This wasn’t Genkai’s garden! He looked around. This was probably the Makai.

He was outside, but there was a high wall around what seemed to be a yard. The yard was empty, except for a small pool. There was no grass on the ground, just dirt.

There was a door on one side of the wall that led to a large building. Koenma had no other clue where he was. Then the door opened and he saw two figures walk out.

Koenma tried to switch to baby form so he could try and hide, but he felt a small shock. He looked down and saw a metal band around his wrist. He heard a laugh, and noticed someone was standing in front of him. He looked up. * * *  

Short first chapter, I know, but it was to set the story. I bet you can’t guess who did it, though you probably will, and I just don’t expect it. The rating and genres of the story might change as it goes on, because I have a very strange mind for this story. Hope you like, and review if you wish.
