Yu Yu Hakusho Fan Fiction ❯ Untitled Sequel ❯ Problems ( Chapter 3 )
Sensui glared at Karasu. “Why did we have to leave? I was doing fine!”
Karasu laughed. “Sensui, he was ignoring you. No matter what you could have done, he still wouldn’t have cared.”
Sensui growled. “Fine, then. You take the afternoon, then!”
Karasu smirked. “Gladly.”
Koenma stopped coughing and wiped his mouth. He couldn’t believe Sensui could kick that hard, much less you could cough up that much blood from being kicked in the stomach.
He shook his head and sat next to the pool. He was bored, and he didn’t know what to do. He stirred his hand around in the water, which was full of cold water. He wish there was a tree to lie under. It was really hot.
He splashed some water on his face, then lay on his side, under the shade of the wall.
Karasu and Sensui watched him through a monitor. Sensui soon grew bored, and sat on a couch, taking out a deck of cards, and started to play solitaire.
“It’s interesting to watch him when he’s bored,” Karasu said. “I will wait until tomorrow for the planned events.”
Sensui growled. “We will get bored as well! I’m not waiting for you to give us the go!”
Karasu chuckled.
“And that is why we are so different. Patience is a virtue, and sometimes a valuable weapon. We must wait for the correct time.”
Sensui reluctantly agreed and continued his game. * * *Ningenkai* * *
It had been half an hour and no one had thought of a plan yet.
Yusuke growled and stood up. “I don’t care what you guys said! I’m leaving to look for Koenma!”
“But you don’t even know which world he’s in,” said Kuwabara.
“I suspect he’s in Demon World,” said Kurama.
“So let’s go there already and stop worrying!” Yusuke said angrily. He turned to Botan.
“Botan, can you make a portal or something to Demon World?”
Botan nodded.
“Well then, do it! We need to find him!” Yusuke yelled.
“It’s late, we’ll take action tomorrow,” Genkai said calmly.
Yusuke growled.
“I’m not gonna wait for morning while I imagine horrible things happening to him!” Yusuke yelled, voice shaking.
“Well, it seems you’ll have to, dimwit. We’re not leaving until tomorrow morning,” Genkai said sternly.
Yusuke clenched his fists. “I… hate… this…”
Kurama put a hand on Yusuke’s shoulder. “He’ll be fine for one night, Yusuke.”
Yusuke took a deep breath, closing his eyes. Then he opened them and nodded. “I guess…”
Later that night, Kurama heard a noise from Yusuke’s room across the hall. He got up and stood at Yusuke’s door.
“Yusuke? Are you alright?” he asked softly.
Yusuke jumped. “Kurama? Is that you?”
Kurama stepped into the room and sat on the edge of the bed.
“Yusuke? What’s wrong?”
Yusuke turned over, facing away from Kurama. “Leave me alone…”
Kurama frowned. Yusuke’s voice sounded strange…
“Yusuke look at me.” Yusuke shook his head. “Look at me.”
Silence. Kurama sighed. “Yusuke, I can’t help you if you won’t tell me what’s wrong.”
Yusuke sat up. “I- I’m just…”
Kurama blinked as Yusuke turned to face him. His eyes were filled with tears and it looked like he had been crying for a while.
“I’m worried about him!” Yusuke cried. “I- I don’t want to lose him…” He looked down at his knees as more tears fell.
“Yusuke… It’ll be alright…” * * *
I’m starting to get some ideas, finally, so I might be updating more often. Hope you’re liking the story so far.
Review if you wish.
