Yu Yu Hakusho Fan Fiction ❯ Us and the Wind ❯ Us and the Wind ( One-Shot )
[ P - Pre-Teen ]
He stands there. Looking confident and focused. The wind blows through my hair and caresses
my face, flows around me; through me. Pushing me towards him. But I stand there, watching
him watching me. The breeze begs me to move. Pushing me, but unwilling to force my body
into motion. Then he smiles and tosses his hair, closing his eyes, looking into the sky with his
face. Beautiful. The wind leaves me then, flowing in invisible waves to caress him. His loose
blouse and slacks ripple around him and his hair reaches out in strings to grasp at the harassing
air. I sigh and begin towards him. The sound of my shoes on the pavement scraping across the
rocks adds to the scene of serenity. He looks down at me and smiles. I cant help it, I smile back
. Neither of us speak. We dont need to. Words are an unwanted obstruction.
Just us and the wind....

Note: Once again, this is MY poem. I love this one. Boredom in English class has its advantages. *snicker*
