`How could he?!' were the only thoughts racing through Botan Kirisaki's mind. Her boyfriend had officially cheated on her. She had seem them together just yesterday laughing at a local café.

Being the nice person that she was she had given him the benefit of a doubt, but that very afternoon he had dumped her stone cold, over the phone.

Still today she grieved, having not slept the entire night. Currently she sat at one of the benches of a park. Her eyelids drooped she had been very tired the entire morning.

Next to her sat a red haired man casually reading the paper, therefore she couldn't see his eyes. Before she knew what was happening she fell asleep.

When she finally woke up at noon, to her dismay she was leaning on the shoulder of the red haired man. She got up immediately and started bowing and apologizing. The man just laughed.

She finally got a good look at his face. His red hair was quite long and he had emerald green eyes. His melodious laughter rang through her ears. He was truly handsome.

Finally realizing that she hadn't yet introduced herself, she quickly made up for it. “Oh I'm sorry, I haven't introduced myself. My name is Botan Kirisaki,” she said cheerfully as ever.

“Nice to meet you Botan, my name is Minamino Shuuichi, but all my friends call me Kurama.” He said politely. Sitting back down, she was asked a question by her new found friend.

“This maybe totally none of my business, but I couldn't help notice that you were crying this morning when I first saw you.” He asked in a curious voice. The first thought that entered Botan's head was: `Yeah, none of you business is right!”

She took another good look at his face, he seemed to be honestly and deeply concerned for her sake. This made her change her mind and tell him what he wanted to know, however she didn't know where to begin.

“I found out yesterday that my boy friend was cheating on me…and well he officially dumped me this morning. I guess I was just upset.” She said surprised how easily it came out. Though he was a stranger that she had just met, she felt as though she could tell him anything and everything.

She looked at him yet again, only to find him staring just as intently back at her. “Well, I can safely say that I know what you're going through. The same thing has happened to me before as well.

Botan smiled as wide as her face would allow, grateful, that she had found a new friend. The two sat talking for hours, before it started to get dark. Both of them sighed in disappointment.

“Well,” Kurama began. “Maybe we can get some coffee sometime?” Botan smiled her fullest again. “That would be great!” She quickly pulled out a pen from her pocket scribbling her number on to him hand.

She gave him a quick wink and full smile running of to her way home. The red haired man stared after her knowing that he'd made more than just a friend.
