She was normally considered insane,even as a young girl(Only about 4 or 5) she had heard voices speaking to her."Yumi said a bad word!"She would giggle to her cousins,the only ones who put up with her.Jamie,the freckled brown-haired one would smile and nod,"Okay Yume.."She would say giving her sister,Anna,the red-haired beauty,an odd look.It was very frustrating for her in her later years.Having to put up with someone invading her personal thoughts,this was also another reason why she was so accepting of friends.
She had always felt very alone,even though she had someone with her always.She never had a close friend,besides her cousins.Even they though,were never enough.Having to be alone all the time brought apon great loneliness and depression.It was the worst period in her life so far.It was unbearable for the longest amount of time.She suspected that part of it came from Yumi,moaning about her mate.Whoever that was anyway.
Over time she began to understand that she may never be truely accepted into the community.She began to accept that she looked different,acted different,and WAS different.It was just a fact for her,nothing more,nothing less.Yumi was her only companion,helping her along the hardships of life,soothing her when she found out that her cousins had to go,knowingly advised her on her troubles.
Eventually,Yume didn't need her other-half anymore.Yumi let her face her own problems and discover their answers on her own.More and more times,Yume forgot Yumi was even there.After a while she lost all memory of her other-half.Heart-broken,Yumi sealed herself up,for a bit anyway...
Yume began to excell in her music.Piano,Flute,and Harp were her favorites,Flute being one of the best.She is her school's star player,able to charm a rabid dog into sitting and staring into space.She loved to play,passing the time alone in the park playing and listening to nature.Always alone.
This is where Ko Yume's story begins.She must face her past.Face the infamous detectives.Face her mother.Face her future.And most important,face reality.

Ko.Eternity.Yume.Dream.Pretty funny,describes me perfectly.Always spacing out and trying to pinpoint that horrid buzzing in my head.Guess that's why I'm insane,eh?
I had just gotten my things to leave school for Winter Break when my teacher stopped me."Miss Ko,be careful."Was all he said.He wsn't that bad looking,compared to some of the teachers here.And he wasn't even that old!So I smiled and nodded,after that I left.
Outside in the cold air,I fled ot my bench in the edge of the park.Grabbing my case,I slowly took out my flute.I grinned down at it and sighed.I looked back out into space and leaned back.I could wait to play.I slid a finger down the side of the instrument and put it back.
I looked around,seeing the infamous Suichi Minamino.
Annoying prep he is!
Okay,maybe not a prep but he is annoying.He never was full of himself,but still.Pink.That or he is gay.Personally,I think the latter.
Well,walking right past me,he stopped and walked off of the path.I blinked a bit and looked straight again.It was going to annoy me until I found out,but still.I looked back,getting on my knees and laying my head on the bar.Tilting my head so I could see behind a rather large tree,I spotted him talking to a small person with hair that could kill.And I'm not talking good,touch that thing and it'll make ya bleed.
Funny really,it was acually reeeaally funny.
I couldn't hear what they were talking about,but I could lip read some.I caught the words "night" and "cry" loads of time.Then the word"nightmare" a few more.Then came the words,"cold fox" and "fox" a lot.Suichi sighed after a bit and walked back towards the path.Turning back around,still on my knees I set my case,backpack,and book beside me.
When he passed,he smiled and nodded at me.Really,what DO people see in him.Red hair and green eyes.Really!geez..
Anyway,I nodded back,smiling just a tiny bit.He stopped and walked up to me,"Yume?"He asked,I,of course,replied with a nod.He asked something funny then,"Ever heard of NightCry?"He asked,I frowned and shook my head.He nodded,"Okay,I was just wondering.."He said,turning around and walking off.
I sat there,pondering about what he said.Night cry..It sounded faintly framilier.I tapped my head,trying ot dig out what ever I could about this.I sighed and shook my head,the bozzing growing when I thought of that name.I frowned,"What is happening?"I asked,grabbing my case.Normally I would have stayed untill nighfall.But I needed to ask Suichi what he ment.
'Soon enough,you will remember...soon enough..'
