Okay as the summary says I am rewriting the story, and sorry for the short chapters. I hope you like and please review and tell me if you think my spelling is improving. I really am trying my best!

Chapter: 1

`What where the chances of a demon coming after me in the Ningenkai? Well, I though slim to none, but I seemed to be proven wrong,' I thought to myself as I gracefully jumped from tree branch to tree branch with a demon hot on my trail. I was playing a deadly game of cat and mouse; though the saying was kind of bizarre, considering I was a panther demon. My eyes darted to the side, and I could have sworn that I had seen a black blur, but dismissed it as I dogged a red ball of energy the demon sent at me.

Up ahead I saw a small clearing and headed toward it hoping no humans where there, but as luck would have it, there where three of them. There was a guy with long red hair with a faded pink colored uniform on; one with slicked back black hair who had on a green uniform, and one very tall guy with curly orange hair and a blue uniform on.

I didn't get too much more time to study them, though, as something hard came down on my head giving me a splitting head-ache instantly. I swung around in a flash of anger slashing out at the person behind me or rather demon. My claws easily cut into his stomach ripping it wide open, and he was now doing his best to keep all of his internal organs in. Anger still filled me and my head seemed to be getting worse. This time instead of going at him with my claws I called on my demon energy and quickly finished him off by burning him up in seconds.

I stood there looking at the ashes of the demon as I tried to steady my breathing. I was soon brought out of concentrating on breathing when I noticed that there was a guy with spiky hair standing in front of me not 1 yard away. I quickly got into a fighting stance as I realized he wasn't human.

“Who are you,” I half growled not in a good mood because of my head.

My answer though didn't come from him instead it came from behind me, “That is Hiei and I'm Kurama and these are my friends Yusuke and Kuwabara.”

I turned around identifying the one that spoke as the redhead. `Hold on,' I thought, `could this be the Urameshi team from the Dark Tournament? If so they would know Koenma.'

I relaxed a bit still not to sure if I could trust them.

“So what's your name?” asked Yusuke.

“Kitta,” I answered.

“So why was that demon after you,” asked the orange head now known as Kuwabara.

“None of your business,” I replied back.

After this a silence fell on us and they seemed to be studying me. Breaking the silence I said, “So by chance do any of you know where I can find Koenma?”

At this I got a few puzzled looks.

“Why do you want to know?” asked Yusuke.

“He sent me this,” I said showing him the letter I had been given only yesterday. After reading it through Yusuke gave it to Kurama to read.

“Well, I guess what you say is true,” said Yusuke like he still didn't trust me.
