Kitta: That's 'Hn' not 'Hi'. SAY HI NOW!!!!!!

Hiei: Hi

Kitta: Thank you.

Re-a: What's this chapter about?

Yusuke: Am I in it?

Kuwabara: What about me.

Hiei: *mumbles* I better not be in it.

Kitta: No,No; its all about Hiei, Kurama, and me.

Hiei: What! *fingering sowrd*

Kitta: Um, Re-a, start the chapter, NOW!!!!! *starts to run from Hiei who has unsheathed his sword and is chasing her. She is faster than him though*

Chapter: 5

'Where is she. She should have been here bye now. She is one hr. late. What could be taking her so long. Why do I care?' These questions keep on going through his head, but the one that was going through his head the most was 'Why did he care'.

At that moment Kitta came running up the path breathless. Apparently she had run all the way.

"What took you so long," he asked when she was close enough to here him.

"Why do you care," she asked with a grin on her face.

"Hn," was all he said as he turned his head away from her.

"Well if you want to know, and I know you do, I had to go to Kurama's house," she stopped there purposely jest to see what his reaction to this news would be.

He turned around to face her and asked, "Why."

"We have to do a project together."

"Hn," was all he said as he turned way again.

"I have to go there tomorrow and the next."

He made no comment to this.

She got up suddenly and jest left.

(Hiei P.O.V.)

What jest happened did I do something or say something wrong. Why did she leave like that? Did I make her mad at me?

(Kitta P.O.V)

She new that he was puzzling over what she had jest done. Even though she had only known him for 3 days she new what went on in his head or at least she had a pretty good guess. She knew that he like her because she caught the way he looked at her sometimes and she also knew that he didn't know his own feelings for her. She knew he would be thinking about what had been said and done and maybe with 2 days he might find out about his true feeling for her.

***NEXT DAY***

'I'm driving myself insane,' thought Hiei. He was setting in the Willow.

'Why do I care if she is at Kurama's she has a project to do, but did I make her mad yesterday. Why do I care,'' he thought. Made I should try to answer some questions instead of bugging myself with them. 'Why do I care?' that one has been bugging me the most. As he thought his heart started to beat very fast. Why did his heart do that, too? It always seemed to do that every time he saw her ,but he had never much thought why it did that. His body always did do weird things when she was around. But why. Made he should ask fox-boy he knows about this stuff, but she is there right now so I will wait.

***NIGHT AT KURAMA'S***

Kurama was on his computer, when he heard a tap on the window. He got up and let the youkai in. "What are you doing here," asked Kurama.

"I have a question," Hiei said for some reason he felt he didn't want to ask his best friend.

"Well I'm listening."

"I need to now what it means when.........*pause*"

"Jest spit it out," said Kurama.

"Well my...um...heart...is acting weird."

Kurama couldn't help the laugh that came out. Hiei didn't shot he a mad look though like he normoly did when someone laughed at him, when Kurama looked up he saw Hiei with a hurt expression on his face, and that face hurt him more than another scornful face could have. Hiei was turning and looked like he was about to go when Kurama said, "I'm sorry Hiei it was jest how you put it that made it funny, I wasn't laughing at you," said Kurama try to get Hiei to stay.

"Hn," was all Hiei said. He had turned back around.

"So you want to know why your heart is....acting weird," said Kurama.

"Yes."

"Well, when dose it act weird?"

"When I'm around *he almost said Kitta*............someone," he finished, he first wanted to now what it ment before he gave names.

"Hum it sounds like you like someone."

"What kind of like do you mean," he asked, raising an eyebrow?

"You now the way that Yusuke likes Kieko that, like."

Hiei jest stared, "You mean I like *he almost did it again*.......someone."

"Yes that's what it sounds like. So who's the lucky person," said Kurama.

"None of your business fox-boy," and with that he left out the window.

'Hum, I wonder if Re-a could be right; was there something going on between those two,' thought Kurama as he closed his window. 'I think I'll ask Kitta about it tomorrow.'

***NEXT DAY AFTERNOON***

Was fox-boy right do like her that way. I wish I new, part of me say yes and the other side said no. I am so confused. I haven't ever felt this way. So why now.

At that moment he practically jumped out of his skin when he noticed someone sitting next to him on the bench and that person was Kitta.

She laughed at his surprised look.

"Hey," she said with bright blue eyes that were laughing at him, but he didn't mind that.

He was at lost for words at first, but soon said, "I thought you where suppose to be at Kurama's house right now, doing that project you have to do."

"Oh, we got done with it yesterday or at least I got done with my part."

His heart was acting weird again why, could fox-boy be right.

"Hay, I know how about I go get some ice cream."

He looked up and couldn't help the excitement that was in his voice when he said, "Sure."

She giggle and got up. He got up to. And they started down the path that lead to the ice cream stand.

***Kitta P.O.V.***

He is coming with me that's different maybe my plan worked. I hope. But I wonder why Kurama was asking me who I like, did Hiei ask Kurama about it. I think I'll ask him some questions when we get back.

***Hiei P.O.V.***

Should I have come along usually I jest stay in the tree.

(Back at the Willow)

She was setting on the bench eating her ice cream and he was on the ground with his legs crossed eating his ice cream. When he got done he got up and sat on the bench.

***Hiei P.O.V.***

"So how do you feel about your best friend getting a girlfriend," asked Kitta who was pretending to be a reporter; she had pick up a stick and was using it as a microphone.

He looked at her then with a smile (note: NOT grin) said, "I didn't know he got a girlfriend."

"Yes; I don't know when he got one etheir, but I know he has one."

"I really don't care about him having a girlfriend I guess he could us one."

"Well you know this means everyone on the team except you has a girlfriend."

"Do I care?"

"You might when you get to be old and have nothing to do."

"Well how do you feel being the only girl on the team that doesn't have a boyfriend," he said taking the stick from her and asking her.

She laughed and said, "How do you know that I don't have a boyfriend?"

"Because you wouldn't be hanging out with me then," he said with a grin.

Taking the stick back from him, "So, you have no one that is special to you?"

"Well I do have two people I like."

"WHO!"

"One is my sister and the other is a friend."

"Who's the friend?"

"Why should I tell you?"

"Because I want to know!"

"Okay, guess"

"Okay, *she started naming all kinds of names*

"No, no, no, no,. no, no,.....*10mins. later*.....no, and no.

"*sigh* Well the only people I think I have not mentioned are Botan, Re-a, and Kitta."

"No, No, .........."

"I didn't hear the last one."

*A frown crossed his face*

"So do you like someone name Kitta?"

"Ya, I like someone named Kitta. What are you going to about it."

"This," she said as she leaned over and kissed him on the check.

He blushed very badly. He hadn't expected that. She also was blushing, but not as much as him.

"So do you have a comment," said Kitta still pretending to be a report.

"Hn"

"That's not a comment."

At that moment he got an idea in his head, he was going to make her embarrassed now. He lend over and placed his lips on hers. He didn't know what he had done till it was over. She was the one to blush really badly now, but Hiei wasn't far behind, after he realized exactly what had happened, even though he was the one that did it.

At that moment the Church bells started to ring. It was 7:00 they hadn't even noticed it was bark.

Kitta jumped up, "I have to go." And the with that she was gone using her demon speed.

Heie noticed though that in her hurry she had forgotten her backpack.

***Kitta P.O.V.***( before she kissed him.)

"Hum, I didn't hear the last one." She was determined to get him to tell her his true feelings today.

He frowned.

"Do you like someone named Kitta?"

"Ya, I like someone named Kitta. What are you going to do about it."

"This," she said as she lend over and kissed him the check.

He blushed really badly.

"So do you have a comment?"

"Hn"

"That's not a comment."

Then to her surprise he lend over and kissed her on the lips. When he finally broke the kiss she was a little surprised. She started to blush badly. He did to.

Then at that moment the church bells started to ring and she became aware that it was dark and the clock had jest told her that it was 7:00. "I have to go." And with that she was gone using her demon speed.
