Yu Yu Hakusho Fan Fiction ❯ Without Kuwabara ❯ Without Kuwabara ( Chapter 1 )

I've read many Yu Yu Hakusho fanfics. I realized that not many people like Kuwabara. I don't really like him much either, but in a lot of the stories I have read he gets killed off. I started thinking about this and it kinda made me…sad (for lack of a better word). If you think about it what would Yu Yu Hakusho be without Kuwabara? Now before you say `better' right off the bat, I really would like you to think about it. Without Kuwabara Hiei wouldn't have as many people to pick a fight with. Without Kuwabara Yusuke wouldn't really have any friends on the team that were human. Without Kuwabara Kurama…well I don't know about that but I'm sure there's something. Hasn't Kuwabara made you laugh at least once. Through his idiotic antics? I know I can't vouch for anyone but myself, but I think that Kuwabara plays an important role in YYH. Not a very big role but big enough to make a difference. I'm not a Kuwabara fan or anything it's just that no one really thinks about him and his role in YYH. In that one episode where they're in maze castle? Kuwabara was the one that led them to the correct door…you know…the one with the mouse behind it? I know Kurama or Hiei could have probably done it eventually but it lets you know that he is useful. And while Kuwabara hasn't exactly defeated his opponents he has stopped them enough to help the others accomplish the main goal. I guess this is just a subject I'm rambling on about and everything, its just I really thought that people should know my thoughts. Kuwabara just adds the lightheartedness to the show and many fanfics. I'm not telling anyone that they should stop killing Kuwabara and kill someone else for a change…but I guess it wouldn't hurt…would it? I mean if you have to kill someone why not Keiko, or Koenma, or maybe someone else? I mean you don't even really have to kill someone…maybe just torture to the point of death…but don't listen to me…well listen to me but don't take my advice or `ramblings' if you don't want to. Just wanted to make someone besides me think about what I think about.

If you have any thoughts on this please tell me. I love flames and enjoy critics barging up to my front door and beating me senseless. If anyone was offended I just want to let you know that you weren't supposed to be offended…just some thoughts wandering around my head.
