"And what if it is?" You showed interest now.
His eyes widened and he fell back onto his chair sighing. "So it's finally happened. Amaya, do you know the story of your parents?"
Memories flooded into your mind, but you clenched your fist and replied, "No."
Koenma called an ogre who brought him a large file. "A war that still exists today between kitsunes and wolves... Amaya, that war started because of your parents. Kitsunes and wolves were already not on easy terms, but they gave the clans reason to start the war by falling in love. The clans were outraged and exiled them, chasing them out until they fell into the Ningen World. There, they made human forms for themselves and had you and your brother. They didn't want to take chances, though, so they locked away your powers until you were strong enough to handle them on your own. And now it's finally happened."
You stood there, dumbfounded, and now starting to see what your dream had meant. "So that's why I have..." you started to say as you fished out your tail and twitched your kitsune ears. The room filled with gasps of awe and Koenma nodded.
"Yes, but wolf blood still courses through you. Kitsune blood is just dominant in you as wolf blood is in your brother, I presume. So, have you discovered your powers?"
"Kinda... I have hardly any control over them sometimes, though."
"That's why you're here, wouldn't want you losing control in public, would I?" Koenma said with a smile behind his pacifier. You nodded and turned to leave.
"Where are you going?" Hiei asked.
"Psh, to get my stuff," you said walking out the door, but seconds later popped your head back inside. "Uhh... how do I get home?"

Koenma's offer sent your tail wagging at the thought of training, but something occurred to you that made your ears fall. /How am I ever going to tell Hisoka?/ You thought, sighing, and stepped towards Koenma. "Fine, but can I go alone? There are matters I must attend to... and I'd rather be alone."
He shook his head. "I'd feel more comfortable having someone with you. Perhaps Hiei, he seems to have visited you before." Koenma paused and grinned at a glaring Hiei, "So be off you two!" and with that a portal appeared under you and next time you opened your eyes you were outside the church. You knew Hiei was bound to give one of his remarks so you walked ahead. He noticed this and suddenly you heard a voice in your head.

/You're no fun/.

/No, I'm just not in the mood to deal with a smart ass/, you snapped back, which left Hiei mute and surprised to find another telepath. You were in and out easy enough, ignoring all your paintings though, but afterwards you headed for the grocery. You told him to wait outside, and he replied with a, "Hn," and you went inside. Immediately Hisoka flocked to you, and you explained that you had to go to an academy you'd been accepted to. He congratulated you and you left in tears, but wiped them away. Hiei left you be, he could could tell from the sudden downpour even without reading your mind that this was difficult for you. You were back in Spirit World minutes later and Koenma gave you a brief lecture alone that you'd train tomorrow. You nodded, opening the doors only to find the gang pile like dominoes. You shook your head and Shuichi offered to guide you to your room. As you came to it, you bowed with thanks.
"Arigatou, Shuichi-kun."
He scratched his head. "Actually I'm known as Kurama here." He said smiling sheepishly and you gave a weak smile before leaving him. Your jaw dropped at the sight of your room. The first two walls to the left of the door had a forest scene painted on them. They were done in ivy, emerald, and hunter green. A family of kitsunes was outlined in bronze and gold as well as the trees and shafts of sunlight coming through a canopy of trees. Next to this, the colors faded to turquoise, and a wolf was drawn at the edge of the forest, howling at the full moon. In pale blue, ranges of mountains are in front of a barely seen setting sun. A shooting star outlined in silver is pointing to the moon. The background is the color of twilight, purple melting into blue, while the moon is half done in silver with the other half in shadows. Behind the moon, glowing stars and an asteroid belt are done in sapphire. Lastly, a black hole and a distant dying star are done in navy blue. The bed was a monstrous king-sized burgundy cloud with a black headboard and frame. It had jewel-toned pillows and a sheer, garnet canopy that fluttered in the breeze coming through the open doors of the balcony and a window in the far corner of the room with a ledge big enough to sit on covered with pillows. The garnet carpet was littered with Sakura blossoms, which fell from a tree stretched towards the balcony. There was a nightstand and a dresser, both done in black with ruby trimming. Down the room, to the right, an open door led to a giant bathroom. It had dark blue marble counters and a pale blue Jacuzzi and a walk in shower just to the left of the door as you walk in. The walls were done in shades of gray and silver.
After exploring you put away your clothes, but as much as you tossed and turned the bed just wasnt the same. You grabbed a hammock from your bag and set it up on the ceiling, falling asleep afterwards. The next morning the two bakas came in hollering to "RISE AND SHINE!" and you dangled from your hammock still half asleep before falling and slamming the door on them to change. Today you wore a sleeveless black top with arm warmers and a pair of black guy shorts cut past the knees. You grunted while looking at your reflection remembering Yuskue, and reached for your dagger and butchered your hair to what it was before. Smiling, you brushed your teeth and headed out to the arena.
